I dropped my Lexus ES350 off last week with a clear objective for Young s to diagnose where my power steering fluid leak was coming from. Before turning over the keys, I asked what could be the issue? Young explained that it could be the pump, a hose, & that we wouldn t know until checking. After a few hours, Young called me with an estimate for $3,000, claiming that the power-steering pump, rack & pinion, and a hose all had to be replaced. He then went down the line of other things he suggested be looked into & said that that would increase my costs to over $4,000. I paid the check fee & took my car to a reputable repair shop in Abington.After checking my car TWICE, the mechanic at the Abington shop told me that a metal return line/hose was leaking badly & that s all that needed replacing. I asked him, are you sure that s all? He assured me that was all. That repair only costed me $350. My car is running beautifully & only that ONE part was the issue.It s unfortunate that Young thought it was okay to estimate repairs that weren t necessary to the tune of $3000, but thankfully, I got a second opinion & got the repair done by a mechanic with over 30 years of experience. Moral of the story: BEWARE of Young s Cheltenham Auto Service. I m willing to bet I m not the only person he s tried to pull a fast one on.

Young is knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant. I have been taking my car to him for my last two inspections and this was the first time I had to have something repaired. Other shops most likely would've "found" something that needed to be fixed each time, and that is why I trust taking my car to his shop for as long as he'll let me. Amazing auto shop! They have worked on several of my cars and always provide great customer service and competent assessments of my vehicle and the work it needs. Prices are very reasonable for the work they provide and there is high communication regarding what needs to be done on your vehicle.

Young's Cheltenham Auto shop's service was excellent and expedient. I desperately needed to get my yearly inspection and an oil change. They were able to get me in on the same day I called to inquire about it and I was in and out in a little less than an hour. The price was also very very reasonable. They will be my go to shop from now on.

Best Mechanic in town.Young is the most reliable and knowledgeable mechanic I have ever seen. When I had problems with my totaled SUV, he basically rebuilt that from the scratch. If you do not know about cars in general. Go to Young s. He will repair your car with reasonable cost. Trust me. This comes after all the other experiences from several old/problematic cars with other mechanics. The only downside is that you will have to get there early in the morning to get your car fixed on the same day. I do not like the first come first serve. But I will still go to Young s.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Auto exhaust system replacement, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement, Auto brake replacement

Young took care of a few issues on my S2000. He's probably the most honest, trustworthy, and knowledgable people to work on my car. Im also pretty sure he fixed the radio door which wouldnt stay closed free of charge without even mentioning it. Always honest, reliable service and fair pricing. I've been dealing with Young's since like '07. In fact once I referred someone to work on her vehicle (a Mercedes GL 450) Young was honest enough to say that he wouldn't be able to do the job properly as he didn't have the necessary equipment to correctly diagnose the problems.

Young's Auto Service has been a godsend. I have an older model Honda Odyssey and it was beginning to break down here and there but Young's has it running smoothly. Having a mechanic that you can trust to give you fair prices and deliver quality work in a timely fashion is a priceless. Young is a super nice guy and you won't regret taking your car to be serviced by him and his team.

I've been using Young's Cheltenham Auto Service for at least 15 years and I never had a complaint. Courteous, fair and always dependable. I have referred several customers to him and they acknowledged they will continue using Young's Auto service for there car repairs.

Young's shop is the best in the area! Always honest about the work that needs to be done, available to discuss details and options on the work, and his prices are VERY good compared to other shops. Young is a true car enthusiast and his passion for cars shines through in the work that he performs. I live far away from this shop, but well worth the travel for great, honest, service.

The shop owner, Young, knows his stuff! I have been taking all of my cars here to get them serviced. I recently got my 30k service done for my 2012 acura TL here and he walked me thru what the service consists of. Most shops will pressure you to get things fix you don't even need right away, but Young was very honest about it. I've been a customer since day one and will be as long as I own a car :)

I ve been taking my vehicle here for years. They are honest , and reliable . Whatever the problem, they let me know how much it will cost to fix it, along with the time it will take to be fixed. They are not out just to take your money. They only fix what needs to be fixed.
