We ve had our older BMW X3 serviced twice at Woodlawn Foreign Car Service. First visit for a diagnostic inspection and oil change. Subsequent visit for a window motor repair. We were charged a fair price for both services. I was surprised to learn from Jack that during the oil change service a thorough inspection of the vehicle is performed. I appreciate that, as it would be helpful to learn of any current or potential issues with your car before they become a major repair job or safety problem. I highly Recommend Woodlawn Garage for your BMW s repairs and other maintenance services.

I trust these guys with my life, after all, isn't that what what you do when you allow someone to work on your car?! As a European car enthusiast that has done most of the work on their own cars for over 20 years, from simple maintenance to an entire motor swap, I am very particular about who touches my vehicles. Once I moved to Center City Philadelphia I no longer had the space, time, or desire to do the work myself. Woodlawn Garage came highly recommended to me from a friend with similar interest and experience with their own cars, and I couldn't agree more. They are straight shooters with a large repeat client base that have no interest upselling you on unnecessary work. They are conscientious and will keep you apprised of any pending issues, whether they should be tended to immediately for safety sake or ok to put off a while on a seldom driven vehicle. They charge a fair rate for their experience level and appropriate amount of time for the work. Only great experiences here.

Service was great. I used Tire Direct ship to the installer and couldn't be happier with my service. In fact, I will be returning to this shop for my routine services for my Porsche.

Brought my 2017 1.4T VW Jetta here for a timing belt replacement. Was the only place in the Philly area recommended for something big by some very trusted enthusiasts.The recommendations were correct.The job was done to perfection, in a timely manner and at a very reasonable cost.Total trust and confidence.Was seriously considering a new car instead, but these guys came through with flying colors and saved a car that I really like a lot.The highest recommendation possible.

I have brought my car here on multiple occasions, with the most recent being last week to have one of my tires inspected. This is hands down the best car service business I have been to! They always do good, honest work at a very reasonable price.

Great customer service and advice. I called just before Christmas trying to get my car in for service because it died on me, and my local mechanic thought it was an issue that a specialist would have to handle. They were unable to fit me in before the holidays, but took some time with me on the phone, and gave me some advice on what I could check on my own. The advice was spot on. I was able to correct the problem pretty easily, and now my car is working fine again. Thank you so much!!

Woodlawn is the only mechanic in Philly I trust. Over the course of three months I needed my clutch replaced, my timing belt and water pump replaced, and had a fried ICU that needed to be replaced and reprogrammed. Each time I've come to them they have described exactly what they see on my car and repaired it on time and for an excellent price. They were always glad to explain further when I asked questions. They provided payment options if needed and were always kind and friendly. 7/5 would recommend - most trusted mechanic in Philadelphia.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I was visiting from NYC when my Mercedes Benz R350 experienced 2 screws in 2 tires. My brother quickly suggested that I visit his mechanic, Jack. Jack had one of his associates take care of me promptly. He explained that my tires needed to be changed, but he would plug them and I could make my return trip to NYC. The icing on the cake is he didn't charge me.. If I already didn't have a paid appt to get 4 new tires on this coming Tuesday, I would have purchased tires from Jack. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Fantastic people. Fantastic service.I tried 3 different shops before coming here for a electrical problem in my VW. Dealer said $1800 but these guys resolved it for $200 bucks.Owner is very honest and humble.I'd say it's the best German car mechanic in the city.

Woodlawn certainly doesn't need another 5 star review... but allow me to say how much I appreciate their services - super high quality work, extremely friendly and professional. I came in to Philly from Chicago. as I was about to embark on my journey home, I realized I had a flat tire. Jack & his crew did everything they could to get me back on the road in the fastest time possible. Super kind and professional people. The best customer service I ve had. They were nice and knowledgeable. I needed breaks really bad and they squeezed me in and got the job done for a great price. I was all over the place and didn t have my insurance card for my inspection. I was able to send it to them through email and they were nice enough to give me a printout. I will definitely return.

I have been going to these folks for years and find them to be absolutely wonderful. Not only do they know their stuff they are extremely honest about what my car needs to keep it running in tip top shape. They do everything in their power to get me back on the road as soon as possible, when I have had to come in for an emergency repair. If have adopted the same motto as my friend who actually introduced me to these guys, if these guys do not work on a certain type of car I will not by it.

I honestly liked the owner however I paid 200 for a diagnosis and still left not knowing what was exactly wrong with my truck. I was told 100 for the check engine light diagnosis. I was called and told he needs to take something apart to see if it is clogged or a sensor went bad. I agreed but when I picked it up I was told he didn't take it all the way apart and still wasn't sure what it was for sure.Overall I will still go back here and have him do work on my Benz truck. He is very good and knowledgeable with foreign vehicles. Just kind of got off to bad start but will give second chance

Had my car inspected here within this past year. I was told it "shouldn't take that long" and "it's probably fine". It didn't take that long and the car was indeed fine. Paid exactly what I was quoted, no upsell. Highly professional shop.

Woodlawn has serviced a wide variety of cars for me for many years....they're great. They do outstandingly good work, every time, they do the research to find the best prices for parts, they keep me informed.....they have a lot of very loyal customers, there are good reasons for that.

Great group of guys here, went in for an oil change on 650i BMW Convertible, while up on the lift, they noticed my driver side rear tire sidewall split on the inside, READY FOR A BLOWOUT. Take your automobile to these guys with confidence!!!

If you have a foreign car and always feel like you are digging deep in to your pocket. Go see Jack at Woodlawn. Always fair and will get you in and out as quickly as possible. I have an Audi and his guys have taken care of me every time I need my car repaired. I highly recommend Woodlawn Garage.

yesterday I took my car Audi A 8- 2008 to Woodlawn Garage. I had the chance to meet John.who worked on my TPMS problem .did very good job and definitely will go back again for any issue.thanks

Extremely pleasant to work with. Needed to replace my water pump and thermostat on short notice and Jack was extremely understanding of the situation! Would recommend to anyone!

Honest people .. they give the appropriate advice and the estimate also you have nowhere to go except the dealer whos gonna charge you the same price of you car, if you have one of the German cars that this garage are specialized in this is the best place to go to
