Vince's is the most honest and professional transmission shop in the city. I have a 2014 Town and Country van and the pump started whining but the transmission was running fine. I called another shop and asked how much to change a pump and they said I needed a full rebuild for $3,500. I called Vince's and explained the problem and asked how much to change the pump and Vince's said I just need a filter and fluids change for $250. The job was complete in one day and the van is running fine.

The people here are complete and total SCAM ARTISTS. I brought my Camry in for a transmission rebuild. Vince looked me in the eyes and said the transmission would be rebuilt with all brand new parts. He assured me it was being rebuilt with new parts, they were not putting in a used transmission. My receipt says rebuild. It took them almost 2 weeks more than their initial estimate to complete it. The day I got it back, it literally broke down on the side of the road on my way home less than 2 miles from the shop. Thank god I hadn t gotten on the highway yet. I called Vince s from the side of the road and they said to bring the car back and they d fix it. Another 2 weeks later they said it was ready but the guy I picked it up from didn t know what had been wrong with it the first time. I had been without a car for over a month at this point. I called at least 3 times and left messages each time asking Vince to call me back and explain what had been wrong and he never got back to me. After I got the Camry back the second time, a few months later, I could feel the transmission went bad again. I took it to a third party transmission place to see what was going on before taking it back to Vince s because I had a bad feeling about them already. The shop informed me that it is was clear the transmission put into my car was USED. It had not been rebuilt, but a used transmission was put in instead. Not what I was told or paid for. I spoke to the technician about this and got their assurance I had been scammed. I contacted Vince s about this and told them what the other shop had said. All they had to say was a sheepish umm, it says that we rebuilt it with new parts. Vince s took it back to fix it for me, and when I got it back for the 4th time, it immediately went bad again. I had to sell the car as-is because I needed a reliable car to get to work asap. I took a huge loss on the car plus the several grand I paid for the scam of the transmission job. These people are untrustworthy, lie-to-your-face scammers and weasels that everyone is afraid of when looking for a transmission shop. I have reported them to the better business bureau.

Great work and fair prices. Have one car I thought would need a new transmission they were honest and just repaired it for quarter of the price and never had another issue.

Great people and service ! You always think the worst when dealing with transmission issues but he found the minor problem quickly and took care of it and was ready for pickup on the same day! If you got transmission issues this is the place to go .

Researched top 10 transmission shops in the northeast Philly area and was referred by my mechanic. Bought my 2004 Dodge Dakota new off the lot.abd this is my 4th transmission. They said 5 days and called me in 3 days saying it's done and it has a 1 yr warranty. So I guess I will let you know my opinion in 1 yrs time.8 months later, transmission went and got stuck in first gear on Turnpike towards Norristown. No AAA so I drove it like this on Turnpike, don't recommend it and get it towed if you can. Called them and they said to take it back to them, they offered no towing. Well in the process blew head gasket driving it and they put another rebuilt in it but the damage was done when. I asked my local mechanic to fix the oil leaks the owner laughed at me and said to keep adding oil when needed and this is the place that refers me to transmission shop. So I had to finally let the truck go and traded after 7 used or rebuilt transmissions since I bought the truck brand new off the dealership in 04. If you ever use the Dakota as a work truck be PERPAIRED! Other than that it a roll of the dice on who ever you use!

These guys are great. They had the parts in stock to fix a leak in my TH 200-4R. Knew immediately what went bad. I was in and out. I'd definitely recommend them if you have an older car.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Vince Capcino's Transmissions is the ONLY shop I recommended to friends and family to diagnosis, repair and rebuild their vehicles transmissions.This family owned and operated shop is the place to go to get the job done right the first time and they service all make and models including H2 and Challenger.

The folks over there a Vince Capcino's Transmissions are great. They made room for me to take a look at my 06 chevy impala's transmission and diagnosed it as an electrical issue instead. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity there because they could have charged for a rebuild. That goes along way in this day and age as customer service is slowly becoming extinct.Service: Transmission

Great people, great work and the price can't be beat. They rebuilt the transmission in my old Buick even though the parts were hard to find. I would recommend them with the highest praise.Thanks Vince.

I bought a conversion van with over 100,000 miles for $1,100.00. My car had just been stolen, and I needed wheels for my growing family. I knew former owner and he bought a new conversion van because he thought this one was about to need an expensive transmission repair or replacement because it had been leaking for months. I took it to Vince's and he said all I needed was a washer that would stop the leak. All he charged me was $15 for his time putting it on the lift and popping the washer in. That van lasted me another four and a half years. I've sent my daughter, two of my brothers, a coworker, my brother-in-law, and numerous others to Vince. He always takes care of the problem, and charges you for that, and nothing else. A true gentleman.

Avoid this shop. They quoted me $5000 to rebuild my 2006 infiniti transmission, but said that replacing it with a used one with warranty is too hard a job because the car is very expensive and is not just a Chevy or ford .Aamco quoted me $600 for this job. These guys just want to rob you

Vince and Lance are stand up guys took a couple of work truck there and so did a few other people that I know They do honest good work at very fair pricing and gives you a good warranty not that I ever had to use it

My Tahoe decided to lose both 3rd and overdrive on my way home from the shore. I dropped my truck off to Vince bc of the great reputation he has in the community. Vince had diagnosed it, took it out off the truck, rebuilt it and reinstalled it with a few days. Pricing was way beyond fair judging on what a remmaned unit would have costed plus labor. I would not hesitate to send anyone to Vinces. He has earned all my business from here on out.

I had three cars worked on there the past three years. They do great work and are very reasonable in price. I highly recommend this place if you have a transmission problem.

okay I'm very not happy about this, the mechanic owner is a very nice person friendly, not complaining about that 5 start about the way they take care you,okay now my transmission rebuilded cost over $4,000 when the car was done, we pick the car up, than 2 days later, a loud noise coming from the transmission, I toke back he say a bracket was loose plus the transmission was leaking fluid on top of the noise he did something real quick in lest than 20 minutos he make to noise stop and the leak stop at the same time, 20 minutes over a $4,000 job pay off, on my 2012 Infinitig37! was leaking fluid from the tranny he don't check the level nothing like real quick make the noise and the leak stop and send me on the road again, I never feel the car shifting right after they rebuild it, 10,000 miles after the transmission feel like a little weir I take it to the Infiniti dealer, thinking maybe need the transmission fluid or transmission mount or something stupid, the diagnostic come up the transmission is leaking all over the place, need a new transmission bc who ever this the job of my transmission didn't do the right way, so yeah thanks a lot another 6,000$ to repair it! the mechanic guys are very nice and friendly! I just think they not that professional to work on high quality transmission on a luxury car!

This place is a joke! Don't let the nice business card and the Christian Fish fool you! They do not stand by their work! They WILL NOT honor their guarantee! I bought a vehicle that had work done at this shop and they gave me 2 different stories and wouldn't fix the small issue I had! In short they write fake receipts to help friends sell vehicles is what thier stories sounded like! Don't waste your time or your money!

Would recommend Vince to anyone. Dropped my wife's 04 Jeep off and 2 days later it was fixed, good as new. Price very reasonable.

This place is such a rip off! The week before xmas I took my car to get an estimate to get it fixed, and I already knew what the issue was, a bad solenoid and it would not shift out of gear. The code came up on the scan tool, and all the symptoms showing were right in line with a bad solenoid. It was not slipping but would not shift out of 2nd gear due to a faulty solenoid. I dropped the car off and they called me a few hours later and told me i needed a new transmission and its slipping!!! I said how is that possible? The car doesn't shift and doesn't shift right now so how is it slipping, & their response was, "there's a PLASTIC piece in the tranny" that thru their experience breaks all the time in my car. A plastic piece in the tranny! Right there I knew this was wrong. Then they told me it was going to be $1,500! I said no thank you and picked my car up. I took it straight to another transmission place and what do you know, they said it was a bad solenoid and charged me $405!!! I test drove it and no issues whatsoever and has a warranty. The crazy thing is that these people sound genuine and quite courteous when you are talking to them. They seem that they want to help and are trying to work with you, but after research and talking to a reputable company, I found out that these people were not really helping at all. I'm convinced it was not a mistake but just dishonest business practices! If I were you, WHATEVER they say, GET A SECOND OPINION!!! By the way, when I picked up the car, I went to get the key from the office, nope, the key was on the floor of my front drivers side floor mat with the door unlocked parked on the street!!! In my case, getting a second opinion saved me $1,100. bucks and being taken advantage of in my opinion! Be careful when dealing with this company and in my opinion, STAY AWAY!!! Read the other reviews, this place seems to be just getting over on people lately and seems like they are showing a pattern of over charging and getting over!!!

If you're looking for a transmission repair service, I would highly recommend Vince Capcino's Transmissions.I was recommend to Vince from a local automotive shop nearly three years and 65,000 miles ago to have my vehicles transmission repaired and to date I haven't had one related problem since.

Hello All,This is my very first time writing a review for anyone whom I ve done business with and I have to say, Vincent s Transmissions came highly recommended by the staff at MCM automotive in Bensalem, Pa.That being said, I am a true advocate of preventive maintenance, repair it right the first time. I also like to maintain my vehicles with local shops that I ve known for years. I trust their opinions and judgments with the maintenance and safety of my vehicles.In going out of my comfort zone, I was driving by a nationally known chain AAMCO and decided to have the Transmission fluid checked, with 140,000 miles on the truck it needed to be changed. They assured me that they would perform a power flush and check the transmission for codes.They found no codes and proceeded with the fluid change w/ filter. As I was leaving the lot I lost all power soon after that it slammed into gear, I drove back in and reported the issue. Their response was a fluke and not to worry. The very next day, I stopped at a light, again I lost power. Again I reported it to AAMCO, they said I might need a transmission.In the weeks that followed it would happen now and then, so I decided to stop by some local Transmission Shops. I went to 4 shops in the local area, and being salesmen they all recommended a transmission. Out of frustration I asked the staff at MCM Automotive, they sent me to Vincent s, where he drove the truck and within 5 minutes he knew what the problem was, he dropped the Trans Pan and found that the O-RINGS on the filter were not installed.I want to thank Vincent and his staff for taking the time and doing what they do best, customer satisfaction and service.A. BarthPhiladelphia, PaPS: By the way I got my money back from AAMCO, and sent a letter to the Corp. Office demanding that they will repair any transmission issues within 12k miles.
