Tony s is a complete scam and a dishonest business. Stay away from this place at all costs. My wife took our car here to have a hole plugged and patched. Tony s proceeded to take our new Michelin tire, which could have been repaired, and placed a cheap Chinese replacement on the car like we wouldn t notice. The charge was excessive for a junk tire and obviously taking our barely used tire (which I m sure they sold after the fact).Secondly, they filled the cheap tire to 15 PSI over the max safe fill! Our car clearly has a car seat for a newborn in it and you should be ashamed you would do this to someone, especially a vehicle that transports a newborn.Avoid this place. They clearly don t care about building a sustainable business by keeping customers nor do they care about building their safety.

Definitely recommend for patching a tire. They were super fast (I was there less than 15 minutes), friendly, and very affordable.

Dishonest people,My car tire was leaking air slowly,Jose couldn't figure out what's the problem so he randomly punctured it and put a string plug just to get $20.I was going to pay him for his effort if he was honest but he preferred to puncture my new Michelin tire !!!Be careful and follow your instincts

There was no wait and I was in and out in under 10 mins. The cost was 15 to patch a tire and cash only. It was quick, easy, and painless

I have a subcompact car with a weird tire size that most shops, even the big commercial ones like Pep Boys, don't keep in stock. A few weeks ago I had a tire bubble and went to multiple tire shops on Oregon Avenue looking to get the tire replaced. Every shop took one look at my tire size and said they couldn't help because they don't have it in stock. But despite Tony's not having my tire in stock, they offered to order it and replace it that day. Not only did they live up to that offer, they did it at an affordable rate and the end result was quality work I've had zero issues with since. Fast forward to the present and I had to get another tire replaced because of a sidewall puncture. Took it to Tony's and they had it ordered and replaced in less than 5 hours.I really can't speak highly enough of this tire shop. Local shops like Tony's are a vital and essential part of our community and it's great to see one run by people who don't just throw their hands up when things get slightly more complicated than usual, or jump at the opportunity to overcharge you at every turn.

Well, I appreciate them being open. I was on 76 getting ready to go to New Jersey. My tire went flat, and just made it to Packer Ave exit. No wait, no line, quick for a used tire $75.00 i thought was to much , But Praise God. Amen.We can Trust God.

I needed two nails taken out of my front tires and was in and out with two plugs in less than 30 minutes, and they were very inexpensive. Everybody I encountered there was friendly and helpful. Will be using them for future tire needs.

I wish I could give you zero star but no option. I was on the 76 early morning dropping off my family to the airport and my tire went completely flat. I drove few miles like 10 m/h got there 1hr before they open. When they finally opened, I told him how thankful I m because I drove very slowly to get there. I told him I needed a used tire. He didn t bother looking at the tires sizes and said I don t have that size even thou he had tires. He didn t even look at the size knowing very well I can t drive looking for another tire place, he said you can leave and find another area . He said I can sell u a new tire. I felt so angry and taken advantage of. I ended up buying a single new tire for $120.00 I won t recommend this place. Owners aren t nice and will take advantage of your situation.

the low tire pressure light came on coming over the Walt Whitman Bridge. I stopped at a Sunoco gas station and they told me about Tony's. At Tony's they checked my tire right away. Found a nail in the tread. They plugged it, filled it with air and remounted. Only $10!!! The guys there were great and very nice. In South Philly, not far from the stadiums.

It was fast not too costly paid $90 total that was with a $15 tip to the guy so the only charge you for the tire not the labor and when places do that they only charge you for the material and not the labor itself be a good person tip them the correct amount cuz that's how they live like waiters and waitresses making three bucks an hour yes I know they chose that profession but sometimes they are forced into those professions do the work schedule to type an hour so that they are so make sure you tip appropriately to the people that need to be tipped appropriately it's funny how you'll tip a waiter and a nice restaurant or even a average restaurant 20% but only give a delivery driver who drives his car uses his gas and has potential being in an accident two bucks on a $50 check and I have done it both and being a delivery driver is much harder than being a waiter and a nice restaurant or even in a fast paced restaurant where I'm at I see my waitresses walk out with 2-3 hundred dollars consistently on weekdays alone

Stay away from this place if you need a used or new tire. I own a business and brought 3 vehicles to have 4 new tires on each of the vehicles, and then when I brought my 4th work van there for 4 tires, the owner wanted to up charge me top dollar. I respectfully asked if he would do a discount of $10 off each tire since I am a repeat customer that brings all my business to him and his response was only if you take your 4 old tires with you and get rid of them yourself . Needless to say- I took my business elsewhere. It s a shame because the manager who runs the shop is really nice, but the owner is unprofessional, cocky and rude.

Got a flat & called this place for a quote on a tire. I had my car towed to this and after the tow truck driver dropped off the car, he changed the price. I pointed out the blatant discrepancy and he said to go somewhere else, knowing the tow would only cost more money.Pure dishonesty and bad business. I would stay far away from this place.

Sign says Used tires 2/$35...I had no choice with a flat and a flat spare, and they knew it, paid $69 + tax for a 17" used tire for a Ford, oh and they also kept my new chrome air valve and cap, replaced with a generic black rubber eyesore. One for the quickness of the workers. They were fast and friendly...

I've been going there for almost ten years. I've never bought tires there so I can't speak about the tires but I've gotten quite a few patches there over the years. It only takes about 10 minutes and they don't charge that much.

This place costs 40% more than the tire shop just 4 blocks down and then they charge you an extra fee to take your old tire once they sell you new ones as if they aren t already ripping you off. Do yourself a favor and drive down the street to 6th and Oregon Avenue
