The Fix is my neighborhood car shop. JR and his team are kind and honest. They've done numerous oil changes for me, replaced a mirror, and been gracious when taking the time to explain things to me-- like the time my trunk wouldn't latch because the emergency cord was stuck down! I really appreciate these guys, their families, and their business.

I was really concerned about finding a new mechanic when my old mechanic retired. This week when I saw some random part was hanging off the bottom of my car, I panicked. A coworker recommended The Fix.As I was dropping my car off another customer told me that she always has a good experience with them and that they are trustworthy. This was the same thing my coworker said.They took care of my issue quickly. The men were friendly and professional. I really appreciate that they are a local family business. This is my new shop.

I will definitely be returning! I accidentally dropped a socket into my car while changing my engine air filter and could not get it out. They not only put my car up on a lift for me and found they tool for me, they insisting on not charging me. I am happy I found a local place like this and will bring my business back for sure.

Glad I found a reliable garage so close to where I live. These guys are so reliable and honest. They will tell you if you absolutely need to get something fixed or if you can go a little bit longer. I have had a rattling at the back near my muffler. When I asked them to check it out, they told me that eventually I would need a new muffler. I brought my car back for something else a month or two later and I told them they could do the muffler then. When they checked my car they asked why I wanted to replace the muffler already and told me it s fine I can keep the muffler until the sound is loud and unbearable. I was really impressed that they were so honest with me about this and didn t try to take advantage of me. Getting your car in with them is also pretty easy. I usually call the day before and ask if I can drop my car off the next day and the answer is usually yes. I highly recommend taking your car to this garage!

Would highly recommend to anyone in the Philadelphia area. Went in for an oil change and the whole process was quick, easy, and efficient. Booked my appointment online same day and whole process took about an hour. Price was a little bit more than chains like Pep Boys and Meinke, but I ve had horrible experiences with the big chains and don t mind paying a little extra for quality work and ease of booking. They ll be my go to for any mechanical needs going forwardService: Oil change

Excellent service from local honest mechanics. I always take my car to the Fix for the best service. They take the time to explain the problem, possible fixes, and charge reasonable prices. Everyone in Fishtown raves about The Fix for a reason! I bought a used car and after the battery immediately died I was concerned there were other issues. The Fix responded quickly and talked me through other factors that contributed to the battery in order to put my mind at ease. They still offered to take a look at it. They took the time to test drive it and inspect it, and gave it a clean bill of health. When I offered to pay for their time, they declined and said, That s what we re here for! Now they have a customer for life. Whenever my car does need maintenance or a repair, I ll know I can trust and count on them.

Great experience! Friendly, fast, and reliable! I recently went to The Fix after my engine light came on and was told the battery terminal needed to be replaced. However, they were able to save and clean the terminal and they didn t even charge me. I was able to pick up my car the very next day. The people and service is incredible ,and there very reasonable and when they say your car will be done at what ever time it is I highly recommend them and they 100 percent honest with you about what is wrong with your car I have had my jeep and also my van and my son's car fixed there and never had a problem with there work

Honest fair priced and quick service was in Philly visiting a friend when my car broke down alternator went they was able to get me in that day and had it done within no time definitely recommend this place the staff was also very helpful and nice

I've used this shop a few times over the last couple of years, and they are the best. They're reasonably priced, fast, and honest. I went there for some vibration issues with the belts and a rattling under the car. They turned out to be minor issues, but they fixed them. And they didn't charge me! I appreciate you guys for your competence, fairness, and honesty!

JR and team were super friendly and helpful. I brought in my car the other week for repairs and they were able to get everything fixed on the same day for a very reasonable price. Will definitely be coming back here for future repairs. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I ve used them a few times now and every time they have done a great job. They are always very honest and never try to upsell me on anything. They are super quick with service and very responsive with any questions. Also their rates are very reasonable. 10/10 will use them for anything I need

They are the only mechanic we go to. Very reliable, always honest and do excellent work. We drive miles just to have JR do our car work. This place is amazing. The owner really looks out for you and super friendly. Great customer service. He helped me out of multiple binds. I thought I was going to be spending around 1k TWICE!!! But went to The Fix and found out it was minor issues both times (tires and battery). He really looks out for the neighborhood. I ve also got my breaks replaced here at a reasonable price. The Fix was absolutely fantastic! I called them at lunch and they were able to get my car in the same day to check out a noise. Turns out it was something minor and they didn t even charge me. I will definitely be going back!

By far the most honest, no-bs group of mechanics I've gone to in Philly and very happy they're in my neighborhood. They're very professional, pleasant to talk to, always on time and never encounter any big surprises. Never once felt like I was being ripped off and highly recommend going here. They're local guys from the neighborhood who you can trust. They know their stuff and will take good care of your car. Honest, fast, affordable! I can't say enough good things about this shop. JR and his team were professional and friendly. My inspection was completed in less than an hour after dropping it off, without an appointment, at 7pm on a weeknight. Feels great knowing there's an honest mechanic in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Yesterday I called and they had me come in today at 11:00 and they were too busy. I left because it was clear they had no idea who I was and definitely couldn't service the car. Another guy had dropped his car off first thing and at 11 he got a text saying, "may I help you" so he was there trying to figure out what was going on. They seem like they are really, really busy.
