I've been coming here for about 20yrs and they always took care of me and tried to get the best parts for the best price every time. Not only do they let you know how to maintain your vehicle after servicing whatever issue you have they will also tell you how to prevent certain issues you may have as well. Hands down my favorite mechanic shop and they have a customer for life with me

It was a joyful experience. I never liked getting my tags done until I started getting it done with Than s auto . She always explained everything down to the smallest detail. Make this experience so easy and joyful.

Very nice people, but very steep fees. To get my title for my car, I paid a - $89 admin fee (fair),- $30 electronic processing fee (what?)- $33 plate fee (huh?)- $20 notary fee- $10 copy / fax fee (hmm?)- and moreIn total, their service fee was about $189, just to get the title and plates. This was on top of the ~$120 PennDot fee.That seems steep to me. And it feels like a way to make a lot of money on this service, but not to win long term customers. Personally, I would have definitely come back here, because I liked the people, but I won't after this.

I've been coming here for years, even still after moving out of the city...... But they're so honest and trustworthy- as well as knowledgeable- they educate you on your car so you understand and no one else can take advantage of. The first thing you feel is hospitality when you walk in and the service never lets me down!!!

These folks explained the whole Tag and Title process in PA with me and smoothly handled it all. I felt welcome. PennDOT's systems were acting goofy at the time but the lady in the office fought with them to make sure I was taken care of. Very fair pricing for the whole service, including inspections. I felt like family and could see other long-time customers happy as well. I even saw Mr. Than refuse to do a service he could have made money on because he knew it was covered under the vehicle's warranty. Best auto center in Philly!

I've had a few things repaired over the years to my 1996 RAVA4. Yes, a 1996. Than and his wife have my car running better than its ever run. The honesty, professionalism and quality cannot be beat. Thank you for keeping this car still going.

I love this place! Super friendly and honest mom and pop shop. They saved me so much money fixing a simple problem with my brakes (encasement) that another shop tried to tell me I needed to do all sorts of unnecessary work to fix. I also found out that if I had registered my car here I would have saved $20 versus the place I did register it which has higher fees. This place is a one stop shop with very friendly service. You can get insurance, car registration, inspection and repairs all done here. A++!!!!

Very friendly and helpful place, got my title, tags, registration and inspection done. Aurea helped me when I was having trouble with the information I got from my dealership as well and I am so happy that everything is taken care of now. Will definitely be recommending to friends and will be my new go to place! Thank you!

I have been going to Than's Auto for quite a few years now (~ 8 yrs) and I can say with absolute certainty that I've always had a win-win service experience there. The work that Than does is the epitome of excellence and you'll never have to worry about this business cheating you with substand work or taking advantage of you because your a woman. And that's refreshing.I'll never forget the time, about 2 years ago when I needed new brakes & rotors. I actually saw Than washing the rotors. And trust me, everybody doesn't do that. I just happened to walk out of the waiting room & saw him doing this after my parts were delivered. I can tell you, I already had great confidence in him but seeing this sent my respect level over the top.I thank the Lord that one fine day, I came across this fine, honest, family owned business where the customer is put first and where the customer is put before profits. - Gina

Wow!! What an amazing place for Auto Tags or just overall car care!! Relocated from out of state to Philly and Thans had my paperwork finished in under 30 min. Also included in that wait was the safety check that I needed. Being able to do everything in one place plus have a licence plate issued on spot was a plus for me!!(Aurea) was so helpful in reaching out to me once I completed an online form with a question. Instead of emailing me back she called me back and walked me through the process to register and assured me I would be a legal driver in PA the same day. Then after I was done she took the time to explain the process for registering next year and or if I should change my imsurance coverage, the do's and dont's to avoid penalties etc.I truly recommend this place to anybody who has car needs!! Found them randomly through a search and glad I stopped by on 10/27/2011/5 woke up to find my new plates were stolen. Called Aurea and told me to come right away. She issued me a new plate on the spot as well as installed security locks on the plates. She saved me a lot of money by seeing her 1st and then report the stolen plates vs vice versa which would have made me pay the entire registration fee all over again.I was upset at 1st by it but her kindness to me helped me forgive the person who did it.Thank you Than's/Aurea!!!

Rented a uhaul from them for my move. Lady at the desk was very nice and pleasant. Had no issues with her. My only problem was I was charged for driving the uhaul 55 miles (i went from north philly to south philly 1 and a half trips) almost impossible. My mistake was not taking a pic of the milage before I dropped the truck off. Dropped thhe truck off after business hours, so although she said no one was there to move it or do anything....you can't be to sure, so I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the extra charges. All in all....great service, just recommend that if you use their u haul service, check the milage before you drop it off, and if you can...make sure someone is there to log it in while you are there.

I've been with Than now for about 14/15 years. He does great work and he's honest. He and Areah are very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. I have referred many of friends and family members to Than!!! If your looking for good and honest work, you'll love Than's!!!!!

We decided to ship our belongings from Philadelphia to Tampa. This location was closest to our storage locker. From the start, the whole staff was very friendly, professional and patient. I highly recommend this company for all of anyone's U-Haul needs.

Did a title transfer, registration. We had a insurance and plate concern as well. Everything was explained before, during and after the process. Everything was handled electronically with a good attitude at 9am in the morning. Highly recommend.

They were awesome and friendly. I asked a lot of questions and Mrs. Aurea was very helpful and informative. I was able to transfer a title, do my tags and inspection in under an hour!

I ve been a customer for years and that s because they ve been great since day one , Than s great , I often wonder what would I do if they Retire because they aren t going through the motions with you they want to get the job done right and are willing to walk you through the whole time.
