No matter where I live in Philadelphia, I will always take my car here for repairs for the rest of my days. Pete + the team are the absolute best. As a young woman who knows nothing about what's going on inside my car, getting repairs can be an extra stressful experience. Not at Superior Auto everyone goes above-and-beyond in their professionalism, kindness and fairness. They work super quickly here, have exceptional prices and, above all, you feel like they really care. 11/10.

Yesterday on my way to work my transmission went out. While that sucked and is never ideal, lucky for me that it happened around the corner from Superior Auto. Pete came out immediately and helped diagnose what could be going on.I ended up needing to get it towed to a transmission shop but Pete and the rest of the team there were very helpful and kind throughout the process. Exactly the type of people you want to trust to work on your car!

Good mechanic. But our car got broken into there. They said it happens often in the area we live two blocks away for 3 years and had zero break ins. They need it up their security if this is a regular event.

Pete is the best in the business - as a newcomer to Philly, he took the time to help me navigate the city's Byzantine vehicle registration system. The absolute best guys around. I grew up a mechanic s daughter and once you stop having your dad to run to you realize how just hard it is out here to find a good, honest mechanic. Pete and the rest of the guys at Superior are it. These guys are a great! They re knowledgeable, helpful, and sincerely the most honest auto shop I ve ever been to. A friend of mine recommended them a few years ago and though I no longer live that close they ve got a loyal customer because they really have the best customer service. I go to them for any problem they can service.

Highly recommend! I've taken my car here a handful of times (oil changes, inspections, tires). Pete is always friendly and happy to answer questions. Their work is good and I've been pleasantly surprised with their reasonable pricing.

So happy I found this place! After years of dreading taking my car to PepBoys, I found this shop via several Philly Facebook group recommendations. They are very friendly, and it was easy to get an appointment. Took care of my state inspection quickly, didn't try to sell me on anything I don't need. I'll definitely be back.

Pete is fantastic. Super honest. If I have a light out or need fluid and drive by he stops and helps and never charges me. I have never felt I can trust my auto mechanic until now. This is the way it should be. Highly recommend.

Outstanding service and staff! George and Cindy were so kind and helpful in explaining what my car needed. They were also honest in telling me that my tires were not in the best shape but could still definitely make the long road trip I'm about to go on, which is where I feel like a lot of dealerships and service centers would take the chance to scare you into buying new tires from them. Overall, I highly recommend and plan on getting future service done here.

Dropped my car off for inspection on Tuesday morning 9am, called at 3pm to be informed that the emissions machine was down and couldn t be repaired remotely. I was told the repair person would likely be out the next morning, so I left my car overnight stating that I needed it Thursday morning regardless of the outcome. Wednesday at 430 I call (after trying to call 3 previous times with no answer) and was told the machine still wasn t fixed. I asked why I wasn t contacted as they were about to close in 30 mins and I need my car back for the next morning. The owner Vito had nothing to say except that it was out of his control and that the repair person has 48 hours to show up. Just really bad customer service and to tell me it was out of his control isn t acceptable. It was within his control to pick up the phone and communicate with me. When my friend went to go pick up he said he was disappointed in me because I didn t entertain a conversation with him while he tried to mansplain whatever it was he was saying. Lastly, he lied 2x telling me both days he pulled my car into his lot but in actuality he left it on the street to possibly get ticketed or towed. Now 2 days wasted with my car sitting there with no inspection. I would NEVER go back here or recommend to a friend or family member. If I could give less than one star I would.

Friendly service! Needed a basic inspection and oil change. I was notified of future maintenance to be on the lookout for but they certainly didn t try to sell me anything I didn t need. I plan to use them in the future.

The shop speaks for its self SUPERIOR quality, customer service is A+!i went here because i needed brakes and rotors ASAP bought a new car (2017 Hyundai Sonata) dealership sold me a car with HORRIBLE brakes!!! The Owner was amazing this team is soooo nice and caring! this shop doesnt take advantage like most shops do! especially being a female! he was honest quick trustworthy! the perfect shop! very local to my house as well! i cant thank this place enough you will always have a loyal customer for life! You never have to worry about being ripped off here. Pete is a man of integrity whom I have done business with for many years. Honest and fair. Go here with confidence. If he can do it he will. If not he will refer you to someone who can. I know that he has customers who come from New Jersey because they trust him. No small thing today.

I took my Subaru Crosstrek here after my car failed to start on October 14th. I called AAA first and they thought it was the battery. They tested it and said it was not the battery and I needed to get it towed. I am new to Philadelphia, so I was not familiar with any local places to bring my car. I brought it here because of the reviews online and it is close to where I was located. However, I am very disappointed in my service as they did not properly diagnosis my car.They said it was my engine and I would need to get a new one. They were unable to give me any diagnostics because it was my engine, and they were unable to turn my car on. Since they are unable to put new engines in, I had to take it somewhere else and expect to pay around $5,000 to $6,000 they said. I had it towed somewhere else for another opinion. After taking it to another place, I learned it was not my engine but rather my air conditioner compressor that seized up which caused the starter to seize up because of the serpentine belt. This was my first experience with this shop and for them to miss something so minor and almost had me spend way more than I needed to I will not be going back or recommending them to anyone after this experience. They almost caused me to make a huge and costly mistake! They also caused this to take me way longer than it should have taken if they just inspected it properly! Lesson learned, always get a second opinion especially when the answer is we think it s the engine because it won t turn on.

Easy to get an appointment for inspection. We were new to town and Pete came highly recommended from friends. No issues. Work on the car was completed on time. All fluid levels checked as well.

Pete helped us figure out what to do with our troubled 02 Neon and did so free of charge. Facilitated a sale in the end, which was for more than we were expecting. We ll definitely be bringing our next car to Pete, hopefully for regular maintenance. Thanks to you and your team, Pete!!

Superior is excellent! What else is there to say? I ve been to more than a few places in and around South Philly and Superior not only provides excellent service, but very trustworthy right from the start. A few years back I had a Saab that was problem after problem until I took it to Superior. Great explanation of work done and price breakdown if requested. They now service both my and my wife s cars and have done so for the last few years now because we won t go anywhere else. When the family moves out to the burbs this upcoming year, I will still be taking our vehicles to Superior. I don t like to see my mechanic, but when I do, I take my car to Superior.
