I had the best experience taking my vehicle to S.Murphy's Auto Repair. 1st off the customer service was superb and the timeliness of my repairs was excellent. If you need an honest repair shop this is the one.

Whoever is parking the cars there doesn't care about safety or accessibility because they keep blocking the bike lane and the sidewalk. If someone in a wheelchair has to get by, they're screwed, and bicyclists have to out into traffic to get around them. Not to mention the weight of the vehicles is damaging the sidewalk there.

Very good service from day 1. Had a huge headache over loss. Gave me very good customer service, eased the headache by guiding and answering all my questions. Would highly recommend in case of an accident.

I must say to find a good & honest mechanic these days is very hard. They will work with & do very good work. These guys did an amazing job on my bumper, grille, and windshield. My car looks brand new! They made the process so easy and I couldn t be more thankful for them. Customer service was A+. The best automotive repair experience I have ever had! Customer service both over the phone and in person is bar none. Not only was I greeted, treated, and respected with the utmost care and professionalism, I was quoted 42% percent less than any other auto collision shop in the area - and considering how severe the damages were to my car that needed repair, this is a considerable monetary amount that was saved me! They were even able to work out an installment plan with me with very reasonable installments and terms. I will never go anywhere else in the city of Philadelphia for mechanical, collision, or auto-maintenance work!

I was referred to S. Murphy Auto Repair when my car was damaged during an accident. The owner was very professional and his team provided phenomenal service. 2nd review - Sandas has reached out & rectified the situation which is appreciated and commendable; not all businesses care to fix their mistakes. He apologized for the lack of communication & delay, provided an estimate shortly after and even came to assist my father with putting a spare on the following day. I ll likely stick with him to fix the car & will provide a final rating at that time.1st review - Expressed to him how dire and time sensitive getting an estimate for my car was and instead of being transparent about his lack of availability, he decides to draft a plan of action and then completely dropped the ball. So after me calling & texting with no response, my dad calls & he picks up with the same bullsh!t stating he d start working on the estimate in 10Minutes which, of course we knew was a lie. My father responds that if he s not available please just let us know so we can move on. He goes I m not available & hangs up. Why even accept the job in the first place????Unprofessional & tasteless behavior. I should ve expected as much though.. typical.

Great shop they re quick and affordable they didn t try to crack me over the head with the price. It was pretty fair price and they got my car back to me with in a week. The work that was done was very good they took care of my car as if it was theirs. I was nervous on how my car was going to come out because I had bad damage to the left driver side of my car. My headlight was smashed, the front bumper was cracked and my grill was done. These guys worked their magic and got my baby looking dealership fresh. I smiled instantly when they rolled my car out the garage. I m really thankful that I found a honest car shop to go to where the pricing is good and the work is excellent.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I've been here a few times now. Every single time, they've been incredibly understanding, honest, and helpful. The first time, my car just had a fuse blown and they didn't charge me because it was a small fix.When I was new to the city and struggling with car trouble alone, I felt like I could trust the people at this business, and they haven't proven me wrong yet. Now I won't go to any other mechanic in Philly because the prices are fair and the folks here clearly have compassion for their customers.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Due to the overwhelming experience of having theft to my vehicle. SMurphy was recommended. The back order for catalytic converters is 6 months or more. Mr. S. Murphy had me in vehicle in less the 2 weeks. The kind and curteous experience I received was remarkable. I suggest for any vehicles needs, please do business with Mr. S. This was the worst experience I've had. I chose them because they are black owned. That was my mistake. I told them exactly what I was told needed to be done. The starter is the issue. They tell me nothing is coming up in their system. I get a callback with a total of over $300. They let me know they changed the spark plugs. I pay and not even a week later my car won't start. I get AAA out again and they say yet again it's my starter. I call them and tell the issue again. I take it to them on a Monday to only find out I'm right on Tuesday. Out of curiosity I asked how much it would cost to have them take care of all parts and labor. Over $700!!! I tell the owner my issues and he gives me an excuse of well we start small then go big. Highly annoyed. I then asked what would it be if I got my own part. 150 for labor. The part I forgot to mention I asked for a receipt on the first job for a week and didn't get until the second job was done. They aren't organized and I don't think they care. I'll take my car where I use to be I go here again.

I ve been taking my car to this shop for over 5 years for major repairs and maintenance. The prices are always reasonable, and the staff are professional. Recently, I damaged my rear view mirror and I took it to the shop the same day. I was told to bring my car back the next day as the parts had to be ordered. I took my car there early the next morning and was able to pick it up the same day. I truly appreciate it. Thanks S Murphy Auto Repair.

S. Murphy Auto Repair was amazing!I needed help with a repair to my Audi, my situation was unique and a little difficult from the shop s standpoint. The team at S. Murphy made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was going to be okay; they were kind and extremely accommodating. S. Murphy repair shop has excellent service, the staff are truly amazing and friendly people. They provide the best quality care to your car and they have very affordable prices. You will leave the shop with a great experience and will always want to return for service to your cars! My experience at this auto body shop was phenomenal! I had gotten Into a accident and knew nothing about the process. I was set up with a rental, made sure I had gotten to the rental car place and was told my car would take a certain amount of time to get fixed come to find out it was fixed wayyy before the date give (which is a plus) Everyone was very polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about my well being and making sure i was comfortable with the process. I would recommend ANYONE to this auto body shop there were no hidden charges, no back door stunts like other shops try to pull, they are truly trustworthy here. I now only come to S. Murphy for all my auto needs and would recommend anyone to go if they would like a great overall experience.

It is always a pleasure when I come to this shop. I am a repeat customer, my car was serviced yesterday and it was finished quickly I dropped my car off in the morning and it was complete early afternoon. The staff was awesome! I would recommend using this shop. I can not speak for the other reviews but from my 3 times using this shop it was GREAT and my car was fixed correctly so no complaints here thank you S Murphy I will be returning!!!!!

I took my car to the same shop for 15 years but their work started slipping. I was so afraid to take my baby to someone new. The staff at S Murphy were the nicest, most courteous people I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. They kept me informed, they did the job right and in a reasonable amount of time. I've found my new mechanic!

I love this place. They treat you and your car like family. They offered to pick me up from the my job, assisted with the rental. S Murphy does not rush the process. I received my car better than before. I recommend all my friend to go to the shop for all car matters.

I have been a HAPPY customer for more than 10 years now. I am treated JUST LIKE family and have ALL my car problems resolved in a timely and affordable manner. I HIGHLY recommend the services provided at S. Murphy Auto Repair and MUST say that the customer service is EXCELLENT and completed work is BEYOND satisfactory!!

I ve been going to Murphy s Auto Repair since 2013 I was recommended by a friend. My car is an 2008 Chevy and have many miles due to it being a used vehicle and I still have the same car to this date. My car has lasted this long not only because I took care of it and stayed on to of maintenance but also from the professional work by Sandas and his workers. The work has always been good.

Probably the most positive auto repair experience I have had. I talked to about 4 or 5 employees and they were all extremely friendly and knowledgable. I would not hesitate to bring my car back here again. When diagnosing my car they were clear and straightforward, happy to answer any questions I had. Clearly a place dedicated to customer satisfaction.

S. Murphy does absolutely amazing work! I took my BMW there initially because it was hit in the grocery store parking lot. S. Murphy made it look like new. I have made them my go-to for bodywork and my every day mechanic needs. Murphy s works well with your insurance company. It s family owned & operated. The owner is young, upstanding & willing to guarantee his work. It s a five star operation.

I love this shop! The owner and staff are attentive and caring. They are accommodating to my busy schedule! Most importantly, they are honest and trustworthy. They don't tell you to get unnecessary repairs to run up the cost. It is a family owned business that treats me like family every time I bring my car to the shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Everyone at S Murphy was really friendly and helpful with the service. Sandis, the owner, even called to follow-up to make sure everything was still running well. I was looking for an auto mechanic since I recently moved to West Philly and I'm glad I found these guys. Take your car here- trustworthy, good work, fair prices, and very friendly.
