I am so thankful for Russell s auto repair, they were able to install a new drivers side rear window for me the same day I called, when all the other shops were saying it could take a few days. They did a wonderful job and even cleaned up all the glass that was in my car (even folded a blanket I had in there that got glass on it) from my window being busted in, as you can see from the before and after pics. They were friendly, affordable, and I highly recommend them if you need your windows repaired.

WASTE OF TIME. My friend came here to get her glass replaced and they did a good job, she inquired for me, and they said that they would have my glass as well. She gave me their number and I contacted them to confirm for a second time that they would have the glass the next morning. The next morning we spoke on the phone to confirm one more time before I was on my way. I took off of work to have this glass replaced, just to get there and to be met with excuses. All of a sudden the glass was not on hand and only new glass was available for almost $70 more than the price we spoke about. The shop is not in my area, and it s in the opposite direction of my job as well, the whole experience was terrible.

This shop does insurance fraud and they sell fake sticker out of here the owner is a African man that does horrible work they won t give you a receipt the work is horrible

Avery lied about what service I needed because I m a female so I don t know much about cars. I handle all of my car problems alone with no men around to help. But I learned that after my car not starting with just my radio coming on, all I needed was a jump for my car to start again thinking thar I needed a new alternator. After paying Avery $475 to get whatever fake wires fixed my car didn t start again the next day. Same exact problem before so I was frustrated. He gave my car a jump from where I was parked this time (instead of me calling a tow truck to bring it to him again) and it started up surprisingly. Now the problem being all I need is a new car battery. He scammed me out of my money.Service: Auto side window replacement

Russell s Auto Repair repaired my rear window amazingly. I came to them during the evening, other glass repair shops told me no because it s too late. I never write reviews, however Russell s A.R saved my day at the very last minute. They were fast and professional. Prices were cheap but the quality work comes with it.. got an oil change e same day the oil light came on because they didn t put enough oil In it it gets better had my front windshield replaced. And I m driving in the highway and my windshield molding flies off cause they just duct taped it on.. and there s black window glue all over my bmw roof. Super nice guys but super poor work Also found out that the inspection sticker is fake they put on my car.Services: Installation, Auto windshield replacement

amazing place if you re looking for something fast easy and cheap. the shop is now run by the late owner Russell s son, Avery who has carried out his father s business with class and made sure to still hold the morals that the business was built on. When you come by you will be treated like you re apart of a family no matter the job. The staff and crew appointed by avery are the most professional and respectable people around. There is never a question on the quality of their work, no job is too big or too small. Don't judge a book by its cover. They did excellent work very fast very clean clean up all the glass. And they were the cheapest out of 10 other establishments. I recommend them highly everybody should go to them.

Avery is very unprofessional. On Dec 14 I called to see if they can put a window in my car, I was told the price but when I got there had to pay more over 150 more.i went to the shop for over 1month to get the window defrost to wrk and they put a horrible lining on the car.window! I went to the shop over 6 times just wanted my money back at that point !! I strongly Suggest that s anybody trying to get a window do not come to the shop they will get you for your money.

They are good to charge money but poor serviceDid not even clean all the broken glass in the first placeSecond Broke an object on my side door and still had the nerve to tell me it s not broken and wanted to put glue GLUE , cause they know damn well they broke iton top of that I noticed the next day they stole a piece the top lid of the slot not sure what were there intentions just beware !

Absolutely awesome. Called and fixed my window the same day in just a couple hours. Plus did a little extra work and cleaned out all the broken glass. Very friendly service and not expensive at all.

I was recommended by a family member and Boy!, What A Disappointment. They're cheaters, scammers, wouldn't return my calls for something they did wrong to my car. My ABS light is on. It wasn't like that when I brought it to them. They damaged my front passenger doors. One of the brothers did something like a rotor, ackcel job on my car. The only good thing I can say about these guys, they never disrespect me as a woman. They spoke in low tone. I'm still disappointed because they need to give me some of my money back

I sell cars and was looking to get a rare driver's side regulator for the left quarter panel window for a sebring convertible jx(the mechanism that opens and closes your window)My regular guy that I take this to was too busy to do this today and I needed it done ASAP because a customer had left me a deposit on the car and I wanted it perfect for him when he came to give me the rest of the money for it. Because of this I searched for places that could do this today. I called and told the owner what I needed done and if he had the part, he said he would check and call me back. A few minutes later he did call me back and said he had the part and could do it for $300.I had this done for other cars and I know the price doesn't exceed $200 and he wanted to charge me $300. I told him $200, we finally settled on $235. The price is very high, but I needed to get this done for my customer who left me a deposit. His worker takes the rare left panel apart, this is approximately 11:15 am. I ask how long it will take, he says it will take between 3-4 hours. I thought, that's an unusually long time, but again I had no other choice so I went with it.I decided to walk over to Phillips steaks and get some lunch to kill time, then walk back again. When I walk back the owner tells me he doesn't have the part after all but his friend has it in Dover Delaware and he's going to order, should be here in an hour (Dover is nowhere near an hour away from south Philadelphia). I still went along even though the owner LIED from the beginning about having the part in the first place. 20 minutes passes and he says, should be another 40 minutes for the part, he got it from around my house in New Castle (20 minutes prior he said Dover).About 1 hour later the part still didn't come and like a blessing in disguise my customer calls me and tells me something came up, I won't be able to come up until tomorrow night. I tell the owner that I am going to forget doing this for now, he practically begs me for a deposit so he can do it tomorrow. I refuse, tomorrow I can take it to my guy to get done who has much more bigger and professional operation and will charge me $100 less and he is not a liar like this guy. I ask him however can you please put everything back the way it was before you tore it apart and he refuses. He left everything a mess.To recap.....-He wanted to charge me extremely high prices that are out of the ordinary for what I wanted to get done-He lied about absolutely everything, from the smallest detail to the biggest-He left everything in a mess-He begged for a deposit-He never cleaned up his messIf you want great work at much cheaper prices and not be lied to, cheated or things in your car unorganized and in a mess, go to Rydon Auto 9909 Bustleton ave 19115.I do business with many used car dealers, I know many businesses owners from the smallest to the biggest. I know everyone who goes to the Manheim auctions and they will all find out about this place. I will personally see it that this place goes out of business just for wasting 1 minute of my time.

Great service they actually help d me out a lot and they were fast. In & out, small 45 mins to replace back windows wish I could rate more than 5 stars price wasn t too bad

Russell's auto repair has been in south Philly for over twenty years. Russell who started the business passed away a few years ago but he left it in the hands of his very capable sons, who are now grown men and have been working there since they were teenagers. The business started as a auto glass repair shop and expanded over the years into a full service automobile repair shop. I would not advise high end foreign automobiles but old or new, from expectations to oil changes this is the place. And while still doing window repair for your automobile they are a full service shop. The kicker is they have the lowest prices around and since it is relatively small and family owed you can always take your car back if you are not happy. Ask for Avery to him ZIYAD sent you!

I have been going to this auto shop for years they are like family. Now that my kids are older they take there cars to Russell or Avery. There prices are affordable.

The owner Avery held my car for 7 weeks for what should've been a 2-3 day tire rod replacement job because they made bad/unnecessary repairs and didn't want to return my money. After going into his shop the 4th time I met his lovely wife he told me she take her vehicle to Meineke for repairs. And yes, they live together! Do Not Put You and Your Family's Safety In Jeopardy by taking your vehicle here! And last, I found drug paraphernalia in my car after his employees had to take my car to another shop because they couldn't figure out what they did wrong. Go elsewhere. I'm still living with this nightnare over a simple tire rod replacement initially that evolved into severe car damages after crooked Avery and his drug addicted staff had possession of my car.

At Russell's if they can't fix it, they don't BS you they let you know, and tell you where you can go to get it fixed. I have been going there for over 10 years. Thank you to the whole team at Russell's. Peace and God's Blessings.

Life Saver!!!!Although I have insurance on my vehicle it was definitely cheaper if I paid for it out of pocket vs the $500 deductible I paid half the price which I felt was reasonable, wait time wasn t long if something else happens to my vehicle I will return

This place is the worse auto shop ever.!! They charge you up to fix your car and put old parts on your vehicle, when you paid for new ones. they don't fix your car properly at all and don't pay for the damages they cause.!!
