They charged me 75 dollars to swap out a small lightbulb near my license plate and didn't disclose the egregious upcharge when they asked if I wanted it done (in order to pass my inspection) over the phone. The bulb itself was $5.03 and the remove and replace cost was $69.78. Everything else was fine but charging that much for such a simple service feels like an incredibly dishonest scam. They seemed nice when I dropped off the car so I was super disappointed to see that they would do that. I feel like they are taking advantage of and robbing customers. When I called to ask them about this charge they hung up on me twice in a row.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dropped my car off for an 8:30am inspection. Was told it would take about 2 hours to complete. At 11:30am my car was still not inspected. After speaking with the front desk, I was finally able to pick up my car after 12pm. When picking up my car it was discovered that my side mirror was completely broken. After speaking with the employees again, was told "it wasn't broken here" and that it "passed inspection". I am now at a loss with a broken mirror without any acknowledgement of their poor responsibility of my car while in their care.

Their service is really good. I was able to drop my car off for inspection which they held overnight to complete in the morning. That was appreciated. 4 stars because you certainly have to pay for it. They quoted me $180 dollars for an oil change and $120 for an air filter. The most expensive oil I can find online is $60 for 5 quarts. If the oil change takes 15 minutes that indicates nearly $500/hour in labor. A bit further than steep if you ask me.

This is my third time getting the annual safety inspection for my Tesla s Y at Pinnacle. I am happy with their service, it is fast and conveniente, although this year I was charged double the price :(

I want to take a moment to recognize Noah at Pinnacle for his outstanding customer service. I needed to order a specialty tire at the last minute. His kindness and attentiveness to my situation were very meaningful to me and made the stress of having a flat tire while visiting from out of town less of an ordeal. Very thankful!

In the past I ve had great experiences. My latest visit I had to go by the shop 4x before the even looked at my car. Every time I got a response: you ll be ready in the next hour to hour and half or your car is next I dropped off at 9. They didn t look at my car until 5:05pm and thankful it was a 10 minute fix. Not sure if Steve is still there but he was always so helpful.

The guys at Pinnacle were very knowledgeable and responsive. Although one of the parts I needed was on backorder at the dealer, I was able to purchase one myself online and supply it to them in order to continue with the repair. They definitely seemed trustworthy to me.

Go to literally any other place for an inspection than here. I was unknowingly grossly overcharged for my inspection in 2022. I returned in 2023 only for convenience and was turned away even though I had called earlier and they said I could come in. It wasn t so much that I was turned away, it was the way they went about it. I ve worked in customer service for a decade so I tend to have more patience but it felt like I was being thrown out of the place. It turned out to be a blessing though as the place I ended up going to charged me less than half of what this place gouged me for last year.Don t go here.

Can t say enough great things about Pinnacle. They ve always been able to fit me in, front desk is always friendly and knowledgeable, you can always hear the shop staff in a good mood, it s clean and feel safe about leaving my car as it s in a great neighborhood. It s my 4th visit and always happy paying when I leave.

Very nice, professional, and easy-going place. Everyone I talked to in the office and on the phone were friendly and helpful. I like how easy the online reservation system is. This is going to be my go-to auto shop in the city.

$125 for an inspection .$800 for a rear stabilizer replacement .this place will literally overcharge you exactly double for what you can get at any other shop. I would know since I called a couple shops right after this terrible experience. A lot of car shops rave about their quality service but this shop uses it as an excuse to rob you.

They charge way too much for an inspection and billed me over $50 for "labor" related to changing my air filters. I needed them changed, but lo and behold, before I got in my car to drive off I was flagged down and told they forgot to change them after I had already paid. A worker ran out to my car, changed the filters in about 45 seconds, and ran back inside. I'd barely call that labor, much less anything close to the charge they assessed me. Avoid this place.

Pricing was fair compared to getting similar work done at Piazza Honda. While doing other work they helped me fix my glove box that I had messed up and put a new battery in my key fob for me without charging me extra. I m always nervous of being ripped off but I m glad I chose them!

Service was alright. Got state inspection done and shocker can t pass without a bunch of new parts.I think Philadelphia is a joke of a city with these state inspections. Fix the streets and maybe the cars would be safe? Not sure.

Brought my car for the first time for an annual inspection, oil change, and tire rotation. They were very polite and professional, and the appointment making/drop off processes were seamless. You can tell the establishment is well run and efficient. In my opinion, the cost was a bit high compared to identical services elsewhere otherwise I had a positive experience.

My experience at Pinnacle was great! I told them I had unique tires and the office called to get specifications before my appointment so they could order the tires in ahead of time. They had everything needed to perform the service in a timely manner. They were very nice and fair with pricing. When my usual auto repair/maintenance place closed (the owners retired), I looked for another place nearby (south of South Street). We found a place that got good reviews online. So I decided to try it. I needed normal maintenance, not repair(s)--oil change, annual inspection/emissions check, replacing the transmission fluid, possible new battery, etc. I made an appointment and brought in my car and gave them the list of things I needed done. Twice that day, they called me to ask questions and provide advice. I greatly appreciated that and found it significant that they recommended, among other things, that I not have certain work done (e.g. replacing the battery after 3.5 years) that I thought I might need. Although the bill was a bit higher than I was used to, the charges are less important to me than dealing with an honest and competent place. So far, that's what Pinnacle appears to be.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Battery, Oil change

I recently visited Pinnacle Automotive and Tires on May 2, 2023, and I must say that the service I received was excellent. The customer service was truly superior, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with them.I had called several places last minute, desperately looking for a service center that could accommodate me, but most of them couldn't fit me in. However, when I reached out to Pinnacle Automotive and Tires, they were incredibly accommodating. The person I spoke to on the phone asked me how they could fit me in and assured me that they would find a way to help.Since I had some errands to run, I mentioned that to the person on the phone. To my surprise, they suggested that I take care of my errands and, if I didn't need my car later, I could drop it off for inspection. This flexibility and understanding were greatly appreciated.Later in the day, when I picked up my car, I was impressed once again. The staff member who helped me was genuinely friendly and made it a point to let me know that if I encountered any issues, I could simply give them a call for assistance.Overall, my experience with Pinnacle Automotive and Tires was outstanding. Their willingness to work with me, their excellent customer service, and their friendly demeanor made me feel valued as a customer. Pinnacle makes it easy to get a car serviced in the city. The rate to replace a broken side mirror was 1/3 the cost of the dealership quote. I'd recommend.

Almost an entire hour late to opening the store for an early appointment. Finally came in to see them in the store and I express my frustration to get lip and told they can't service my car due my stressed response. Never once raised my voice, never once got in anyone's face. Awful customer service. Find somewhere else to get your car fixed
