Johnny and Edwin are the real deal. From customer service to great car service. I almost didn t come to the place after previous service but I needed quick assistance and I m happy that I decided to come. I will be coming back!

Great service with staff and mechanics that really cared about the condition of my car. Cecily gave a thorough inspection and found issues that I needed to address that I would ve been oblivious to otherwise. Id definitely recommend this Pep Boys. I also came in as a walk in without appointment and they took my car for service right away.

I came in with shaking tires and the mechanics Johnny and Sue did a great job replacing them. They were very professional and time efficient; as well as knowledgeable about their profession. They made me feel comfortable getting service from them, and offered an awesome sense of security. My car is back to running smooth, and I definitely recommend that you can trust the services of Johnny and Sue.

I must say that things are changing at this Pep Boys because how I was treated recently was a drastic change from previous experience months ago. The mechanic that serviced my car was Amazing and sharp!! Johnny was well mannered and was able to assist me with my car trouble in a timely manner which I extremely appreciated since I had to pick up the kids from school. He was on point, and I definitely recommend this place and will return for future services.

The customer service here was wonderful from the beginning When I made the initial call, Edwin took the call and made sure when I came in I was taken care of by Johnny who was very informative on everything that was going on. I really appreciate how Cecily maked sure that my warranty was taken care of they all worked as a great team and will bring my car back.

I was helped today by an automechanic named Suly. She was very professional and helped me with my tire sensor problem. Fixed it right away and educated me on tires and tire readings. I just wanted to thank Pep Boys for having such a respectful and knowledgeable employee.

Put Mt car in shop back in November in 2020 for an Axel. I was told the Axel was fine. They stared that it needed a new engine. That the axels were good. They first engine was faulty it feel apart. Then they put another engine in. Then they called stating that the axels were broken and needed to be repair. 7 months later I finally got my car back. My car was ransacked things were missing. My change was gone bracelet and trashed. I asked Mark what happen to my car he's response was IDK. Drove it for about a week. I then took it to get a new battery put in. The mechanic said that my battery belt was missing and I needed another one. Then he pointed out the the ventilation pipes and screws was missing from the new engine. Other things were broken. The warranty department said to return it to the pepboys that did the repair. Not happy about that. Spoke to Jose said hell take care of it. Received a call from Jose giving me a claim number. He started someone from the claim department would night me. Never received thst call. Called Peoboys back stating I never got the call from the claims department. His response oh really. Well you NEED to call them at 1800pepboys. Follow the prompts. 2 week later still no response. Photos to follow. Please any advice

This have been the 3 time I go to take my truck with the same problem and its not in till yesterday that they finally did there job I really appreciate the service the first 2 time I went they didn't do anything and I pay for the service and there's no record of anything and they didn't give me any recipe or nothing but yesterday I got paper work of everything they do and they gave me recipe and put everything in the system thank God for people like the ones that attended me yesterday that really did there job

They keep me safe on the road. My last three cars that I've had they have worked on all of them. In January of this year I took my car to them for a routine oil change. And to my surprise they discovered multiple things that needed attention. And I had them corrected on the same day.I like the new auto body team. They pay attention to detail. And when I am there for service on my vehicle they even call me to come into the body shop to show me what they are talking about. I also appreciated that day in January when the office manager honored the price for the work that I was quoted when the person who wrote up my order said that he made some mistakes.

I suddenly picked up a nail in a tire after passing one of our many construction sites so I rushed to Pep Boys on Hunting Park ( which has been my go to location). Despite their other projects they quickly examined the tires, identified the problem and prepared to seal the hole. They requested a delivery from the Hunting Park Auto Zone location in order to get an item they no longer carry. The cement glue was delivered. The tire was fixed. The staff was amazing, helpful, considerate and efficient. Back on the road in an hour for $26. Not bad!

It was my first time getting service at Pep Boys and my experience was a great one. The service tech was very helpful in suggesting what service I was going to need to make my visit more profitable. I appreciate the service and kindness everyone showed. I will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Worst experience I have ever had, my wife and I brought our car up, they said they was going to look at it, and sent us home in a Uber, so at first we had high hopes. But thinking back we should have would out the door when we heard the staff talking about, how they re staffed the store, because of whatever reason, my opinion is try the re staffing thing again. They took our car at 12 and said they was going to call, they never called, every time we had to call them. Then they said our car was going to be ready in a hour, and when we finally called they was closed. So now they have our car over night, my wife has to be to work in the morning, and we don't know what we are going to do. How do you keep someone's care over night without letting them know. I will never come to another pep boys again. That is not how you do business. I am very upset.

I am very disappointed, I thought pep boys was a good company, but I guess I thought wrong, and I guess it doesn't take much to be a manager. I have been trying to get a issue resolved for a week and the manager is taking no accountability, for his actions. I need a resolution, and I will take this as far as I need to. I have nothing but time I am a disabled army vet, with PTSD all I do it set home, so I have nothing but time. Y'all keep my car over night, took the part off the car so we couldn't even say we didn't want y'all service anymore. Y'all fixed the wrong part of the car, and y'all still trying to charge me a arm and a leg. Because of your employees I will be missing money of my check because of there mistake, and you mean to tell me you can't come up with a better Sol. This is crazy.

They need to make sure that the staff have the same information. I was trying to have an oil change done with my own oil and filter. Called two separate times, two different people told me I could do that, and it wasn't until after I had purchased my own oil, filter, and brought in my car that I was told that they wouldn't do it because of a policy. It's just inconvenient and annoying to waste time like that.

I have called twice to see if they price changed for a tune up. The lady tells me it would $200 with there part and $100 for if I bring my part. I get there then the lady tells me it is going to be $300. They need to do better with the pricing and communication that is bad because I was pretty upset because of that.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! The manager as a representation of the company was extremely rude and u professional. I had 4 tires installed and had to bring the vehicle back 3x because the tires kept deflating. After the 3rd time the manager start blaming me for the problem and refused to speak with me about the vehicle even when they had my vehicle in their possession. I felt helpless and taken advantage of. My old tires had no problem staying inflated and to spend so much money on new tires was a waste of money and a waste of time. They also add a shop fee on your invoice but can t explain what the additional fee is for. This place is very u professional I would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle here you will end up with more problems than you started with. Location 1050 E Hinting Park Ave Phila, pa 19124.

My vehicle was overheating and this location fixed the problem.The only problem I have is that I wish that it was fixed in a more timely manner I dropped off my vehicle at 10am picked up my vehicle around 7pm, other than that I'm satisfied with the results.I have good heat now!!

I picked up a nail in my front driver side. Arrived at this Pep Boys and met by Alexis customer service rep. He was very professional ,kind,and very helpful. I like the service here, that's why I came back. I highly recommend this Pep Boys location for all your car needs. Oh, and they are fast. My only complaint they need to clean the windows

Customer Service is Key. It makes or breaks any company. I scheduled tire service yesterday. However, was able to find a better price with a competitor. I think it was in my favor all the way around. I had the opportunity to check out the reviews at this location. Customer service seems to be the main complaint at this location. The experience I had added to the complaints of poor customer service. Online it states this location opens at 7:30. I called several times with no answer from any of the depts. listened thru the teleprompter. So, I thought maybe it's my number. I have an out of state number. Which shouldn't matter. Every customer my not have a Philadelphia area code. Sometimes it happens business don't answer if its not a local number on thee ID. So, I dial from a "local" number. Phone was promptly picked up. I spoke to Vinne who informed me I had the wrong dept and transfered me without hearing anything I had to say. No one answered the line he transferred me to. I dialed back he answered again. I ask him to hear me out before he transferred me again. I informed him I had a 8am appt. However, I wouldn't make it to that appt. He says well that dept opens at 8. I explained to him. The hours of operation states 7:30am online and the customer has no way of knowing 800am is the service time if it's not stated as such. He went on to say they open at 8. I replied,"you are in the same building would you be able to pass the message on." In my experience when companies have more than one dept. It doesn't seem to bother them to let their fellow employees know if a customer tried to make contact. It's a very normal part of customer service. He took my name and time of appt. I hope he passes it on. This way if someone walks in without an appt they can get the time slot. My main concern is. If he knows it's no service until 8. Why transfer me. Instead of taking the message. This is my 1st time attempting service with them. Although, I found a better rate for tire servive. Pepboys is a one stop shop for several automotive supplies and services. Because of the poor customer service and laundry list of the same type of complaints of poor customer service. It is my last. I never do business with any company. If, I feel as if I have to force them to do good business starting with customer service. It Is not a pleasant feeling to say the least. I wonder does the owner really care. It seems this is the normal operation of business. At this point it definitely reflects the leadership. I say customer service training is desperately needed. Is there any accountability for these types of behaviors? Which seem to happen more than often judging by the complaints. I know covid has left alot of companies in desperate need for help. However, we have to do better by the customer. After all customers and their money is how the company survives. I hope they can make a change soon. Wish them all the best.

Very slow. Also missing a pack of cigarettes from my.middle counsel, mentioned it to the manager got told no,one smokes there an they dont go threw the cars. Apparently ciggarettes, grow legs, jump an run away who knew.I shouldve known better then leaving them in thereFollow upStill no responce from pepboys on this situation.Dont act like your gonna correct the issue just to make your store look better. An not respond to the email i sent.It wouldve been more respectful to just apologize an leave it at that.Only time ill be back is if its the only option available.An yes i know me not coming there isn't gonna make or break your company.Its just the point of you telling me to contact your company, waisting my time to do absolutely nothing.

Excellent customer service!!! However wait ( 6.5 hours) seemed excessive. My car did drive sooooo much better!!! Guess it was worth the wait?!!

Showed up after making an appointment to be told the online system doesn t work and I ll have to come back. That wasn t an issue, my problem was, the person assisting me was on his phone with his head down listening to something & everyone around him just relaxing like the store was closed. He also said i didn t have an appointment without asking my name or looking in the system. Never again.
