I had a phenomenal experience here! Keenan and his team do a great job taking care of your car. Exceptional customer service that makes me more than happy to bring my car back when it needs service. Had an oil change recently and was in and out in about an hour. Hassle free and quality work.

I was able to make a same day appointment for an oil change online and quickly dropped my car off. They called me once it was done, very convenient! Later, I misremembered Pep Boy's closing time and realized I wouldn't get there to pick up my car until 10 minutes after closing time. I called in and the man working kept it open for me to get my car, I was so incredibly appreciative. Amazing service all in all!

I pulled in yesterday with a four-hour rental car that had two tires out of whack. Thanks to this team's direct, can-do teamwork, I was back on the road in less than 15 minutes. The gent with the snazzy glasses had a calm and "we got this" demeanor. Cam, the visiting manager, took the time to show me the dry rot of this car's tire and advise me on the safety issues driving it.Greatly appreciate the swiftness, empathy, communication and friendliness of this team in a tense moment for me. Thanks all!

I had a fantastic experience at this tire store! Both the store manager and the technician went above and beyond to assist me. I needed to adjust the torque on my wheel nuts, and they not only willingly helped me with that but also did it for free. Unlike other tire stores that either hesitated or charged exorbitant fees, this place provided exceptional customer service. I'll definitely be returning for my next tire change.

Excellent customer service they are here to help. My tire was flat and my spare went flat. They said they don t have the size tires in stock for my vehicle. But they will get it from other store location. Very helpful people. They know you re frustrated when situations like this occurs but they are very patience and friendly taking care of the situation. Highly recommended.

I brought my car in for a tire plug. I got a quote I Was happy with before bringing my car in (26$ versus 40$ from another mechanic I d been to recently). The place was packed by 9 am on a Saturday. I wanted specifically to write this review bc I was particularly impressed by the service at the front. Keenan was so calm and professional despite a full house first thing in the morning. He continued to answer incoming phone calls while helping customers. I felt really comfortable that I was being taken care of without being taken advantage of and I will definately return for car service there in the future because of my experience with him in particular, and they seem to have gotten the job done! I deducted one star because they didn t put all the tools in the trunk back over my tire and cover it which felt a bit careless to me but it wasn t a big deal to do myself.

Keenan and the team here were absolutely amazing! We were visiting from out of town and we got a nail in our tire. Keenan took care of us and made us feel safe and taken care of that we could get home safely! 10/10 recommend

I needed a new battery and they were able to fit me in quickly and had me in and out of the shop in an hour. I called ahead to see whether they took walk ins. The whole process was super easy and saved me a major headache. Staff were polite and efficient.

as a female owner of a pickup truck i m always weary of trusting a new mechanic with telling me the truth about prices & what s going on with my truck. From the initial phone call making the appointment, everyone i ve talked to at this location has been beyond helpful. At this pep boys I feel so so comfortable with the services, prices and overall transparency i ve received. After my first experience with getting holes in my tire patched, I recommend this location to my sister for her tire and I came back for an oil change & inspection. The experience is only made better by the manager, Keenan. Not only did he make it a point to remember my name and answer all of the questions I had regarding the inspection, there were multiple occasions where he expressed care and chivalry towards any&all customers coming in. I will most definitely be returning back for my next oil change & other fun car things!

Inspection & oil change were well priced. Didn't charge me for windshield wipers to pass like my previous place did each year. Dropped car off and they were finished early with no surprises. I'll be back

Alanna, the manager, was amazing! She took the time to explain what my car needed, was honest, and allowed me time to call my husband and discuss my car issues. I would definitely come back because of her integrity. All service centers should have their own Alanna. Thank you.

HORRIBLE service at Pep Boys. I brought my 2014 jeep in to purchase 4 new tires before driving it to MA as I was preparing to move home from Philadelphia. I was told over the phone that my car was ready to be picked up and the tires were installed and nothing was mentioned to me about any other issues with my car. When I arrived to the location to pick up my car, prepared to purchase the 4 new tires, I was then informed that my brakes were in "horrible" condition and needed to be replaced. I have never heard my brakes squeak/grind or had any issues with them in the past but I decided to trust them to replace my brake pads and rear rotors. I was also told that my brake booster needed to be replaced sometime in the near future and again was questioned how I didn't notice that my brake pressure was off. Being a young female grad student and someone who does not know very much about cars, I decided to trust their opinion but was also a bit confused as I had not noticed any issues with my brakes. They informed me that the booster was not a job they could do as their head mechanic was out on vacation. Alfred had great customer service skills and was understanding about my frustration that I was being told I needed to now spend $1500 on my car. He offered to knock some money off the total for me. However, he was not there when my car was ready and I spoke to Alanna who is the manager and she was EXTREMELY rude over the phone and said she could only take $30 off and does not know why I was told differently earlier and then she proceeded to tell me "she shouldn't even be taking anything off at all." Clearly there are issues with communication as nobody called me to let me know about the brake issues in advance and I was told multiple different prices. Regardless, the work was done and I had a 7 hour drive ahead of me to get my car back home to MA. When I returned to MA, I brought my car in to my longtime trusted mechanic to have the brake booster looked at since pep boys told me that this was important to have replaced soon. My mechanic informed me there were zero issues with my brake booster but that the brake pads and rotors that I just paid about $700 to replace was not done properly. My mechanic said "whoever did this took no pride in their work, nothing was cleaned or wiped down including the calipers, they just slapped some brake pads on and didn't even bother to grease them. This is horrible craftsmanship." So I essentially ended up having to pay my other mechanic to REDO the brake job that pep boys had done because it was not done properly. This is a mechanic I have used for many, many years who has worked on many of my cars so I have no reason not to trust him. Would NEVER go back to Pep Boys again and extremely upset that I just essentially wasted $700 for them to replace my brakes incorrectly. Huge waste of money.

Kept changing the estimated time, 4 tires were installed and the tire pressures weren t checked after install, they misplaced the wheel lock and didn t return it to the glove compartment - had to go back to pick it up next day delaying road trip travel 2 hours, they lost 2 lug caps and lastly car tire pressure lights keep turning on. Will have to take to dealer to make sensors weren t damaged in the install process. Overall would not recommend this Pep Boys center (this is the 2nd incident). I have 2 stars because Angel was nice and attentive when we booked the appointment the night prior.

Pep boys was really a life saver when I had to get an emergency flat tire! Keenan was very kind and professional to me after I had a bad experience at a previous shop which left me a little worried. I would 100% recommend to anyone in need of a new tire/work on thier car! Thanks again!!

I got a flat tire on Sunday, March 12, and had it scheduled to be brought in to this shop first thing in the morning the next day. Every time I called on the phone to let them know I was coming in or to ask about the status of my car, the workers would be dismissive and vague. The car got dropped off around 7:50; when calling at 11:35am, I was told there were two cars ahead of me. I asked for an estimated time and did not get one. I called back at 1:14pm, was told there was one car ahead of me and that my oil change wouldn t take long (again, I was in for a flat tire). Finally, at 3:13, I was told it was ready for pickup, a whopping 7+ hours since it was dropped off. When picking up the car, the workers did not have any sense of urgency, didn t greet any customers, and all around seemed completely unbothered. I get home from a day of DoorDashing and find that the tire they replaced is completely flat. Now, I can t do my plans for tomorrow, and have wasted $130 for another flat tire. I am going in first thing tomorrow to demand a refund and get to the bottom of why this was ever allowed to happen.

Literally told them before handing over the keys that I was having issues with the horn and that I had pulled the fuse and then they failed my inspection because the horn wasn't working and also that they couldn't do anything about it at that location. Did they expect it to magically start working? Was it lack of knowledge? Hope the $28 was worth it.making it a two star since they did refund the $28

I called over the phone to see if I could get my car serviced after previously visiting a prior Pep Boys that was unprofessional. When I asked about getting my head light serviced the female (Hispanic representative) rudely blew her breath while I was explaining my issue and rudely said and I quote just bring your car up here and drop it off because I have 10 cars ahead of you and I m the only one working and i can t tell you when your car will be ready . She seemed very frustrated at her work load so I said never mind I won t add to your day she then cut me off and said omg I just told you to just bring it and drop it off!! I told her I would wait for my vehicle at the shop if I were to arrive and she rudely responded it ain t no where to wait so like I said just drop it off!! . She spoke to me as if I was a child. I calmly asked her not to take her frustrations out on me because I wasn t disrespectful to her she then said I m lucky she picked up the phone and if I m not bringing my vehicle to stop wasting her time . Before I could say anything she hung up. I will not recommend this Pep Boys and no longer support this particular franchise. I wish I could give a rating of negative 5 stars.

For an oil change, it was fine. Dropped my car off at lunch and picked it up after work - fine. But the two people working at the desk were so unprofessional that I don't see myself coming back here. They were straight-up bickering and being totally rude to each other (one clearly felt the other was incompetent) both when I dropped the car off AND hours layer when I returned. They were oblivious to the fact that they were having a private, inappropriate moment in front of a customer. I don't need big fake customer service smiles, but you can't make a customer feel so uncomfortable that all they want to do is leave. So awkward.

Alanna was very professional in explaining what the suggestions were on my vehicle. She answered all my questions. Mike, Alfred, Angel and the technicians were all super friendly and definitely made me feel like they were not trying to rip me off. They are little busy and short staffed but once they get your car in, they will be fast and professional.

**PLEASE sort reviews by lowest star**.My front end still rattles, but they charged me $45 for a service fee. The service is pretty bad. I try to stay positive, but there's other auto shops to help you.-Dropped off at 8:30am. She said a couple hours.-1pm. I'm the next car.-3:30pm. Stopped back in.-5pm. Car finished.Only a tire noise issue. Without car for 8.5 hours, no calls or updates. And still isn't fixed.The mechanic even though didn't fix it was responsive. The two guys in lobby could care less. Hey if you don't care, I certainly don't.Pro- open on weekends.Cons-charge diagnostic fee, service is horrible.

Terrible service. I had a check engine light service and they told me it was something to do with the gas cover. I brought the car to the dealer and they told be the car needs a new charcoal canister. How did they miss that? The car is leaking hazardous vapors and Pep Boys missed that. Do not go to this location!

Went here for an oil change and inspection. Everything went smoothly . One day I had a flat tire and figured I would come back since it s convenient.They never returned the key for my wheel locks and did not hold themselves liable for replacing them. Will not be returning .Im missing a part because of you and now am out my own money.Irresponsible and not how you conduct business. Do not come here . Why am I now spending unnecessary money for your negligence

Kudos to Alfred who handled my emergency need for a new tire after a blow out on I-95 in Philadelphia. Alfred was very professional and quickly found a new tire in inventory and had it mounted on my wheel quickl. He answered all my questions while handling walk-ins and phone calls and made me feel confident about the safety of my long drive ahead of me. Thank you to Pep Boys and Alfred!

I have been to this location in South Philly before for the general oil change / state inspection, and never had any issues. However, during my last visit for a routine oil change, I also wanted the mechanics to look at why my trunk was not opening from the driver s side pull lever. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the repair was not completed, and another issue developed. My trunk latch became stuck in the open position, and therefore would not securely close. When questioning the staff, it was nothing but excuses and that things just happen. I did not drop off my car with a broken trunk latch. This location also lacks communicated. Not once was there a phone call to explain any findings or notify me when my car was finished, or would not be finished when expected.

I was told my tire replacement, oil change, and alignment would take about 3 hours and it ended up being 30 minutes!!!! I didn t even have time but to open my apartment door after getting out of my complimentary Lyft they sent me home with when I got the call saying everything was done!They sent a Lyft to pick me up and I was on the road within minutes! This guy Mike took great care of me, very honest and polite! I totally recommend this place just ask for Mike! 10 stars!!!!
