Update 2 months later. Car has been shaking since my tires were mounted. Came into the dealer & they found none of the tires had wheel weights They mounted my tires without ever balancing them & one was mounted wrong close this shop before you guys cause an accidentAvoid the shop. Ordered tires online to get installed here with an appointment. When i get there they tell me they need to reschedule.Go back next day with a new appointment and wait 2hours for them to knock out what should have been a 30min job anywhere else. After the first hour I ask ETA only to find them all sitting down on their phones with my car untouched An hour later i see the rush job they left with all the tire sealant all over my rims. This shop used to be good, wont be going back.

I had the prefect experience with Aaron and Carlos. He(Aaron) made sure I was well informed explained things to me,couldn't have asked for a better experience. Carlos also explained and talked with me about my vehicle I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of as a woman. Carlos was professional and expeditious in servicing my vehicle. I will definitely be back.

I made an appointment at Pep Boys for my cars State inspection. When I came in the rep was ready with my work order already printed. Soon after my car was taken in and the state inspection done. My car was finished only a few minutes later than the estimated time.. Very good service.

Waited 2 hours for an oil change. Called at the 1.5 hour mark to see when I could expect it, and was told they would call me when they were done. I walked back to where I left my car and see it was untouched, so they hadn't even started my service in that time. Got my keys and left - I know they're busy but transparency goes a long way.

Excellent - definitely would ve received five stars except three times I had told three different people that I wanted the original tires after a full install of four new tires. I wanted my original tires back. Each time they asked me have I told anyone that I wanted my original tires back each time I said yes all the way up to check out after I paid my bills I then asked are the four tires of mine in my car I was told if I told someone to do that then they will be there. However, I went to my car and there were no tires so I had to go back in and then they did retrieve the tires and then give them to me. Other than that, I was very happy with the servicefrom the full install of the tires, mounting, Balancing the alignment and the oil change. Like I said it would ve definitely been a 5 star but for the constant reminders I had to give to keep my all good but summer original tires. And even then those instructions weren t followed.

This place is full of liars and incompetent workers. I dropped my car off on Friday. Needed a simple oil pan to be replaced. They lied on multiple occasions telling me they called my company vehicle to get approval to purchase the part. Monday and Tuesday, my car is still there ans they tell me they havent been able to reach anyone. I called the company car myself to ask them to approve the request, turns out they never called. So I have the company car call pep boys. They needed the part number to approve the request and not one single person there knew the oil pan part number. Then Wednesday they tell me they are truing to locate the part number for the oil pan (like makes no sense). How can you order a part and dont know how to locate the part number? So I come back on Thursday to just get the car and no service was completed. They just know how to create chaos and not follow through. Absolutely terrible. Literally went to another place and they got approval within 10mins of getting there.

very thorough complimentary inspection performed along with my oil change revealed need for new air filters, as shown in photos included with the inspection report received via email as soon as it was done; i appreciate this degree of service and attention to detail

Took my car in as it was consistently overheating and going through coolant, they replaced the water pump. Shortly after car is again overheating and this lovely work light was still sitting on top of my engine. Let me know if you d like your light back!8/1/2023: wanted to provide an update. Took my car to another shop because as I mentioned the issue came back. This pep boys incorrectly installed the water pump and the seal was not tight, thus it was leaking. So, I will now have to have it done again. Do not take your vehicle here.

I ve been a customer at this location for years with hardly any issue but my latest visit really required feedback. I booked an appointment for an oil change and state inspection and when I dropped off my car I mentioned to the attendant that I suspected one of my rear tires was leaking and asked if this could be examined as well and fixed if necessary. After I picked up my tire once again had low pressure so I knew no fix was made and had to return to the shop two days later to fix this specific issue. When I returned to pick up my car following the tire repair at about 6 PM on Thursday the store was closed. This location says open until 7 on both the website and the sign posted outside. I hate to complain but this caused a huge inconvenience.

Had no choice but to go here to get a tire replaced since I got a flat a block away. Took about an hour to replace and left a mess on my rim.When checking out, gentleman says back breaks need to be replaced in order to pass inspection, front breaks will need to be done within few months. I said there s no way, front were just done 3 months ago and back were great when they were checked 3 months ago. Said I d wait to see what my dealership says when they do the inspection.Went and got a second opinion from a local garage everyone recommends in the neighborhood. They said my breaks look brand new and are perfectly fine. The fact that pep boys really tried scamming me makes me wonder how many people they got over on.

I drive a fairly pristine B8.5 Audi S4 - I have a mechanic that works on my car exclusively, but he was traveling and wouldn t return for 10 days.I came in to patch a tire, simple enough.While being checked in, I told the tech I had lug bolt covers that would need to be removed before torquing off the bolts - Perhaps they did that, but I watched the tech use the tire iron to smash the covers back into place, which could have been what cracked them - Unfortunately, the bigger issue is that he missed a few times and dinged up my wheels a bit. When I brought the broken covers to the attention of the manager, he didn t seem to care at all.. He told me to order some more and bring back the receipt. Considering they re <$10 and they clearly broke them, you d think they d reimburse me no questions asked. I even had the original order receipt that I d pulled it up on my phone for proof. Nope.I was quoted $19.99 online for the original tire repair and it ended up being $32 - NBD, but it s certainly going to be more expensive now that I have get my wheel reconditioned.Simply put.. if you don t care much about your vehicle s appearance, I m sure this place would be just fine. If you have a nice car, take care of it s appearance, and want it back in the same exact condition you dropped off in avoid at all costs.Lesson learned.

What a pis of sheeet location. Booked an oil change appointment. Had me sitting there for hours and the never touched my car. Instead of just telling me they can t get to my vehicle on time they just kept quiet. And the technicians were just in there chit chatting instead of doing the work they paid to do. Never again. I should ve read the reviews and rating first. I know very well I would not have wasted my time going to an establishment with a 2.8 rating. Do not waste your time taking your car there. Im sure even the work they do on these cars is sheeeety work. Save yourself the disappointment.

I wish I read the reviews before I made an appointment for an inspection! When I arrived I was told that there was 1 car ahead of mine but only 1 person was working. THREE hours later I was told it would be another 30 minutes to an hour. When I looked inside the shop and saw 2 guys neither of which was working on my car I asked for my keys and left. AVOID AVOID AVOID

It took 3 days to have my oil change. The reason was nobody opened my ticket for 2 days, so my car was hanging in there. If wasn't for me to keep calling more than 6 times until someone didn't put on hold or pick the phone, who knows how much time would be there. I won't come back.

Avoid at allllllll costs! First of all, called and was put on hold for 15+min but no one was there that warranted a hold. Then I make an appointment for 2:30pm, just a basic 15,000 mile check up. I get there on time and they said it s gonna take 1 hour and 45 min - 2 hours tops. 4:20pm rolls around, they still haven t gotten to my car until I ask them for my keys to leave - service was terrible, not sure they really know what they re doing there

Made an appointment for an oil change. Got here early 11:30am my appointment is at 1pm. I checked in anyway. At 11:30am they said 2 hour being they had vehicles here getting work done. I went to a few places in the plaza had lunch came back 1:24 and they said it will still be 2 hour are they tripping of something like what the heck. Do they think people going to sit and wait for 4 hours to get an oil change. I tried so hard maybe thinking a different pepboys would be better. Nope they still suck!!!!!!

The people at the front desk were nice and answered any questions I had and Carlos the mechanic was also really nice and quick. I left in less than an hour for my inspection.

Update: MY BREAKS GAVE OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO changed all the break pads and everything. Only for my car not to be able to detect when you break.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!I ve been coming to this pepboys since the beginning of the year and every problem I paid to get fix has resurfaced. Even though I make the appointments on my account , they never can pull up the receipts or the account so it doesn t show they serviced your car. They do this so that they don t have to take responsibility for messing up the car (i learned this later on). Also, they spell your name wrong so it s impossible to look you up in the system.I went to get an oil change, fix my windshield wiper, fix the brake and a number of other services. Now my car cuts off when I hit the break and stop. this happened to me driving on the expressway.Do not go here. This is a warning from someone who could have lost their life due to the horrible job this location did.Update: now the new breaks that i got done there

I brought my car in for my yearly inspection. I was informed there was a repair for my steering that needed to be done. I brought my car in on a Monday and was told it would be ready at the end of the day. Each day until that Friday I went in to check on the car. I was told a wrong part was ordered and that it would be ready the next day. I had to rent a U-Haul to move in to teach, for the start of the school year. I was misled in the process along the way, often never receiving updates that were promised. When I reached out to customer service I was told that I was not misled.

I shall hear all the time I stop in for osinins I might even not need to pick up like the staff is always polite the stores always clean. When I get a couple minutes of I'm in the area I always pull in just a browse to see what's new and exciting and maybe even on sale. They always know exactly but to ask you if they can help you they did not pester you tell you around or anything like that they're very nice people that work here and I like the prices.Then I saw this can't be conjured the right for no apparent reason they decided that they would drive the cars because they certainly might walk in here and just ruin everything break windows destroy property throw stuff into the parking lot and just out and out be destructible it makes me ashamed. May of all people always tell people have no color and all my friends will tell you the same thing I just don't understand destroying property has anything to do with the way people were treated. Other than the fact that their parents just did not bring them up properly I would not even think of such a thing. The only thing I can say the merchants and companies that were destroyed is that me speakin as a human beings from the human race I am so sorry.

Made an appointment on a Wednesday for a state inspection the following Saturday. When I arrived for my appointment I was informed that they were out of inspection stickers and had been out for several days. No one notified me.

The whole process of getting my car inspected and oil change was fine.The problem came after. After I left, the very next time I turned on my vehicle (10 days later), the check engine light came on. Pep boys said they would charge me $100 diagnostics because I hadn't driven my car in over a week.Very frustrated and stressed about the safety of my vehicle.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE.Read the negative reviews beforehand but figured since I had a very simple issue (flat tires) they would be able to help. Nope. They lied to my face at least three times that they had checked my tires and put air in them as I asked. Checked my tire PSI the next day -- 13.5 and not holding air. Definitely not safe for driving and it is clear they did not even look at them, let alone inspect them or put air in.Bottom line: Dangerously incompetent and will lie to you.

Would not recommend. Went in for 4 tires to be changed and had a 3pm appointment. Waited at the Starbucks for 3 hours with no phone call. I walked back over to check in on my car only to find it hadn t even been worked on yet. Spoke to the manager Aaron and he told me he was short staffed and was going to call me to ask if he could keep my car overnight (this was at 6:30 and they close at 7pm) and that it would be the first to be worked on. I left my car overnight. The next day, I received a call confirming they would be putting on the tires and complete and alignment and should be done by 11am. Well 11 am comes around and no call AGAIN, so I walk over to find my car is done and sitting outside the shop. Aaron gave me a discount towards the tire alignment as a courtesy for having to leave my car overnight and not getting to it when I had an appointment, which I appreciated. A few days later, while driving my car at 60mph it started shaking which it has never done before! I went to another mechanic and spent more money to have it checked and needed my tires balanced! Isn t that the point of a tire alignment? Needless to say, I do not recommend this Pep Boys. The customer service was subpar and the car service was obviously poor. Do better, customers should not have to go through this!

Best place ever to get your car inspected . Aaron and Christopher were very friendly and knowledgeable .The price beats the dealer prices. Highly recommended .
