I Had problems with the tries on my car holding air pressure. The manager Mr. Lou said let's take a look at it and he would be able to advise me after that. He did this for no charge and told me about other problems that they noticed while the car was on the rack, and how to fix them. Excellent place and convenient location.

Had an issue with my tire pressure continue to show after putting air in them. Spoke with Dave was very pleasant and listened to my issue and walked out with me to my car and checked my tires. Set me up to have one of employees take a look at my tires and informed me that I had a link the reason my tire wasn t holding air. Dave informed me of what steps they would take and made sure I understood the pricing. He was nice and I would definitely be coming back for future assistances and telling friends and family.

I took my van to Midas while my fiance was receiving his cancer treatment at Fox Chase Jeannes Hospital in Cheltenham/Philadelphia and Lou was extremely helpful. He went over and above his job/duties by explaining everything needed to repair my van and then while they did the repairs he took me back to the hospital to be with my fiance. He then also came back to pick us both up and back to Midas to pick up the van. He was very polite, courteous, & extremely helpful. Thank you Lou for your kindness & concern. You deserve a raise. Also thank you to the mechanic who worked on my van, whose name I didn't catch.

I had a blown tire that was my fault but I wanted to go through my insurance and warranty. Thought I would have to make multiple calls and jump through hoops to get this worked out but Lou took 100% care of it. Didn t have to do a thing. Got my tire fixed fast, easy, and at minimal cost. Just had to pay taxes. Lou is the man at Midas. Highly recommend.

The service I received today was top tier the manager Dave took time to explain things to me with patience and understanding without making me feel like and idiot. These are the type of guys you need working with customers. Kudos to Dave thank you!

Im not often inclined to leave a review but the encounter I had with the gentleman at the front desk this morning was extremely unpleasant. I have been coming here for years and this is the first time I ve seen him. He was very rude about me not booking an appointment correctly online. He asked what time I booked it the day prior. I told him at 6pm after I finished my shift at work. He said, well we re not open at 6 so how could we have confirmed it? . In my opinion why have an option to book online if a REAL person must confirm it? And why does the website say you will get a response within 30 mins if someone has to confirm it in real time??? Then he suggested with an attitude that I leave my car there for when the garage cleared up and when I asked for an estimate on how long he thought it would be, he responded with, how am i supposed to know? It depends . I had to just walk out. He needs customer service training. Very very distasteful. I ended up going to JiffyLube on Cottman and got my oil changed in less than 20 mins.

Worst place i have ever been to. I really dislike this business and would never recommend it. I brought my car in for an alignment and ended up costing me thousands of dollars. The staff, i believe, a manager, was so eager to add stuff onto the bill and get me to buy new tires. I'm a young woman, not very knowledgeable on cars. I brought my 2012 dodge for an alignment. I left with 2 loans nearly 4000-5000 dollars together. My mom was ferious with them and me. I am young. It was my fault and responsibility for signing up for it. The staff obviously took advantage of that fact. My life was so difficult trying to pay those loans down, and it all stemmed from money hungry manipulative midas staff. I would never come back here.

Took my car in for an inspection and ended up costing me $3500 because it needed some work. I was fine with that . When I got the Jeep back it had a weird noise coming from the front end. Took it back when the mechanic went for a test ride with me he told me they only installed 2 of the 3 motor mounts. Went back to the shop where the put it on the lift to see if something was rubbing then the told me they put the wrong size tires on. The manager tried to make it right and put a axel on but didn't fix the problem that started once they put there hands on itNow they are saying it's the Trans making noise. BAD MECHANICS all they are in for is up charging you.

This place was conveniently located near my residence and I came right in and they were able to assist me. I was getting new tires and I completely forgot that I left one of my old tires at home (I had a spare tire on at the time). Ray (I think that s his name) offered to drive my home to get the tire, which was incredibly nice of him. The service was good and we were out of there in a reasonable time with 4 new tires. Ray is a good man who takes pride in his job.Service: Tires

I have twice gone in for scheduled oil changes and they did not have my filter. This could only happen if they are lazy and/or disorganized and they appear to be both. No apologies either. Bad customer service. Go to the Jiffy Lube down the street.

I ve brought my car to this location many times and will keep coming back! Though I mostly care about the quality of work, it s a bonus that I've always gotten my car back quickly. Most of the work I ve needed has been standard, but once I had a more difficult to diagnose issue, and the manager went out of his way to resolve it, and he kept the price down when one of the parts was a higher price than originally quoted. My daughter took her car there for one issue to be resolved. She has a foreign vehicle that require meticulous repair. She trusted the knowledge and expertise of this Midas location. During the initial repair the mechanic caused another issue (which was repaired) but caused the vehicle to remain at the shop additional days. The manager stated the car would be taken to the actual dealership to rectify the problem caused. Miraculously, the problem is instead fixed my Midas. Then she was told that another issue was found and it would need repair. After spending an additional $1300 on a repair she is still experiencing the issue!!!! Total cost $2000. Most of the managerial staff was rude and dishonest during this whole ordeal. Corporate has been contacted without resolution. The only thing let is to pursue public and legal assistance with this matter! If the shop was not equipped to perform the repair for which the car was brought there....that should have been stated to avoid months worth of headache additional money as the car still has an unsolved issue.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!I brought my car in based off of my warranty's recommended repair shops. I initially needed a water pump replacement that then turned into a $1900 repair. (In which I was pressured into opening a Midas credit card by the original manager Mark). I was told that I needed a valve cover gasket replacement due to an oil leaking issue. I told the mechanic and manager that my oil leak was due to an oil consumption with pistons. He flagged me off and told me this was not true, although I told him that the AUDI dealership diagnosed the car. He told me that this would fix all oil leak problems. After repairing the valve cover gasket, they even kept my car and drove it around numerous days to make sure that it was fixed. They also charged me for an oil change and filter. I didn't even mention that they caused an electrical problem that they said they could not fix, and that they would take my car to an AUDI dealership, which never happened. My car was miraculously fixed. Upon receiving my car back, the oil light came on, requiring me to put oil in it again. I told the store what happened and took the car back in. The manager Jordan said they found no issues. (The original manager I was working with was named Mark, which he no longer wanted any association with the vehicle after it wasn't repaired right.) Upon calling back after the oil came out again, my partner told them again that the leak/consumption was due to pistons. The regional manager, who was not there for the duration of my repair, tried to say that the mechanic there never said that the repair would fix the leak. The mechanic quickly said that he was not the one who worked on the car. The regional manager clearly knew nothing about the repair. Upon speaking to the store manager Jordan, he told me that he would speak to the regional manager and come up with compensation for their mistake. After not hearing from him, I called in and he had a change of attitude. He said that there was nothing the store could do, and the valve cover gasket would not fix the issue. Why would I be willing to spend $1300 on a repair that would not fix the issue? They took advantage of me as a woman. Please do not take your car here. You will be better off taking it somewhere with competent mechanics and managers.

Ripped off my husband. My husband went in for an oil change and car inspection. They knew his car wouldn t pass an inspection because of the cracked front bumper. They lied about the car having damaged uv lights (I don t believe they did an inspection at all) and lied about discounting the service. He didn t apply anything. We book an appointment and got $20 off already! He lied and make it like they would discount the price for having a failed inspection. Also it took them 7hrs to do a simple oil change. $160 for basically nothing! Never going back.I m convinced the good reviews are mostly paid for. Ironic how many 5 stars follow after a 1 star review is posted.

Every time I've had to take the family's cars in has been a great experience. Sometimes (obviously) there's a wait, but that just goes to show how much people trust these guys! Always ready to take care of you and help you out in any way possible. I know for sure they're looking out for me when I go!

This place really feels like that family shop that I ve been going to for years. Mark who works the front is hands down the best at customer service and Will the guy who fixed my car worked magic in the time frame slotted. I will be bringing my car here for all repairs. One star is a LOT to give. This place deserves no business. My car sat in their lot for 11 days. No work was completed. I was going through my warranty company and they didn t send in any of the photos that were required. Not one photo they claimed to send, went through. I sent the photos they provided to the warranty and they received them immediately. I was stolen from. I removed my vehicle yesterday, without being serviced due to them charging me $1900 for a power steering pump to be fixed. Who in their right minds can tell me that is not overcharging? $1100 out of pocket and my warranty would cover the rest. I told them I know better than this. The district manager of all Philadelphia stores approached me when picking up the keys and tried to assure me that he would do his best to make me happy . Immediately I told him nothing with this business would make me happy. He said he would remove $550 off of the price and charge me $449. What mechanic can rightfully take off $550 off of a job? NONE. They were taking advantage of me and thought I wouldn t fall into their trap. The BEST part of this entire process was the fact that they submitted that they completed the work and charged my warranty company $857 to be paid out. They were PAID for a job UNDONE. I took my car keys and told them I would be taking my business elsewhere. Why would I do business with people who are MONEY HUNGRY and don t respect women? This is absurd. If i was a MAN I never would have endured such horrible treatment. Each employee was very rude. I would NEVER recommend this business to ANYONE. I will encourage any person who s ever been to Midas to never return.

I am so pleased with my experience at this Midas , My car got towed in Friday night and my car was ready Saturday evening! My alternator and battery blew out plus I was using my warranty! The co-manager Lou and his team member Matt were very helpful and friendly. Assisted me removing a screw in my tire, gave very quick service and genuinely showed they care about what they do. I truly appreciate this Midas location. They treat my family and I like family every visit. They are attentive to details and provide honest feedback with their evaluations. The co-managers - Lou & Mark are phenomenal. They are very professional, likeable and easy to communicate with. My father, husband, son and I all take our cars to this location for several years and have never been disappointed. They provide excellent service and deserve our business. We're thankful for their service.
