On the first real hot day this year, my car started overheating and the a/c wouldn t work. It s a 2002 beetle, so I m always nervous that any kind of repair is going to be expensive. I called Marino s and was able to bring it in within the hour. I told him what was going on and he seemed confident he could fix it. It ended up just being a simple connection issue with the radiator fan, and he was able to fix it that day. He only needed to charge me an hour s labor, and he asked to keep it over the weekend to be able to drive it and make sure everything was in working order. I honestly just called the closest shop to my house, and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of service.

This mechanic is very friendly and honest. Took great care with my car and I could not have had a better experience at a mechanic. I 100% recommend you go here! You will not regret! He is the best!!!

Another trip to Marino s auto repair, and another great experience. My 2009 Hyundai had some strange steering behavior, which was difficult to reproduce, diagnose and resolve. The team at Marinos took their time, to ensure proper disgnoses, and when the job was finished, it was done right. Was in a accident on 07/06/2019 Geico insurance has a deal Auto service at 2020 Bancroft they was great got my car done quickly. They handle all of my insurance needs didn't have to deal the insurance ppl at all plus the workers are very nice very well informed on things if you need work well worth it

Tony is seriously the best! Always honest and fair, and lets you know when a job might be bigger than expected. He always comes through when he says he ll have the job done. And he is just the nicest guy, too!!

I just moved to the area and needed a state inspection. This place was great - the mechanic explained everything to me and the costs were reasonable. He told me the things I needed to fix to pass inspection, recommended things I should look into doing, and even said I could probably get tires cheaper somewhere else. I will absolutely take my car back here in the future!

The first review written long ago was about a gas station repair shop that was closed and vacant for a few years. This place Marino's Auto Repairs is on Bancroft street right off Snyder ave has very good reviews on Yelp. They have been in business for over 30 years and were on Oregon ave 9 years ago. Now its an Auto Repair shop only, and does general auto repairs, State Inspection and Emissions and even Motorcycle Inspections and does pick up and deliveries in south Philly and center city so its a pretty good place to get your car serviced.

Marino's is a small shop compared to what I was used to in the 'burbs, but these guys are friendly, ready to work with you, reasonably priced and flexible with scheduling.I like having a good shop within walking distance of my place, too.

Took my car to a Chevy dealer and it came to a $1080 estimate. Anthony from Marinos did everything the chevy dealer quoted me at and an oil change for $480 out the door. Cars running great!

Great place. They keep it real with you about what needs to be done right away and what can wait. You won't take your car home and then realize the problem wasn't fixed

Listed as a motorcycle repair shop on Google. Has motorcycles printed on their garage door. Gives attitude when you call because they don't work on motorcycles.. like what?
