As a young woman, I ve had at least one bad experience with a mechanic or auto body shop in my lifetime. Bringing my car somewhere for repairs I ve felt uncomfortable and in over my head, wondering if I m getting ripped off.A few days ago someone side swiped my drivers side mirror while it was parked on the street. I did some research on local mechanics and called Maggianos. They picked up immediately and said they d be available that day to take a look. From the start I was given great, honest, friendly service that included price estimates and regular updates on my side mirror. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, and within two days I had a brand new side mirror installed. I m thrilled to have found a reliable mechanic in my neighborhood, and couldn t be happier with my experience.

Just moved to PA so had to have a vehicle inspection and emissions test. They were great! Good customer service, fair pricing. You really can't ask for more

We love this mechanic so much! We have an old Mitsubishi that is in what feels like a constant state of decay, and Maggiano s always takes such great care of us. Tom is a no bs kind of guy, and it s always a pleasure to work with such an honest, professional mechanic. As two young adults living on our own with limited knowledge on cars, we never feel taken advantage with Tom and his team. These guys are 5 star all the way. New to the area as I work at a local business and found these guys in an emergency one day, they got me in same day and fixed the issue. Since then they have been more than reliable, friendly, honest and reasonable when I ve needed their services. I m glad I found someplace so close to work that I can whole heartily trust.

This place is ALWAYS great!!!!! The owners are awesome, helpful and fair. Waiting room is super small but most customers seem to drop off. I prefer to wait when it's not going to be too long. I usually prefer using my dealership but when I can't or the price is too exorbitant this is my go to place. SPECIAL NOTE. I have gotten home and noticed small minor repairs that I did not request were completed at no charge In one case the bulb near my license plate was hanging for months for some reason. The next time I washed my vehicle I noticed it was fixed. I don't have a repair fairy at my home garage so it had to be the great guys at Maggiano's.

Second generation auto repair. These guys are just the flat out best. Honest, reliable, like family. When my dad was in his 80s, they would pick up and drop off his car. Here is the key: my dad was a bit tight with $$$. But I never once heard him complain about price. I've run out of adjectives.

Great mechanic shop, and good prices. They actually look for a solution to whatever problem you may have without jumping the gun on an expensive repair. This was my first time at Maggiano's and definitely won't be my last.

I have been going to Maggiano s for over eight years now. They are the honest and fair. Tom and his father do not push anything unnecessarily and are amazing mechanics. Highly recommended

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and competent, family owned auto repair garage. Services include PA state inspections and all other types of mechanical maintenance and repairs. Affordable prices, honest, thorough, great service. When dropping off a vehicle, limited parking is available in front of the garage on Ridge Ave, but additional free parking is available directly behind the garage in the Roxborough Memorial Hospital parking lot. The entrance to the hospital parking lot is on Jamestown St., and the free parking spaces for Maggiano's customers are at the far corner of the lot, behind the garage. There are signs to indicate which spaces are designated for Maggiano's customers.

Outstanding, trustworthy, honest, hardworking, family owned, reasonably priced, fast, reliable. I cannot say enough positive things about these guys.I first brought my car here in an emergency when the engine started to overheat. They fixed the problem and had me on the road again within 24 hours. I have since brought my car back and continue to be extremely happy with the service I receive here. They have earned my trust and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an auto repair center!

Recently move back to PA and my old mechanic retired so I was looking for a new one and I think I found one with Maggiano's Auto Repairs. Switch my car info over to PA and needed inspections done. After reading a few of the reviews on Google and Yelp figured I would give Maggiano's Auto a try. When I stopped in it was just to see if I could schedule an appointment because I also needed my back light fix, but Tom (who was very pleasant and welcoming) let me know he could work on it that day which was great. After doing his initial check of my car I received a call letting me know everything else I would need to get done to my car. Everything he told me was accurate and was due to be replace or changed. He also let me know that I would need front brakes soon but I was good for now, especially since I'm a weekend only driver. After all was said and done, all work was done within a day, I was informed of what I needed along with the pricing before anything was done and now my car is good and the price was very reasonable. Thank you Tom for getting me back on the road and I believe I've found my new mechanic.

As so many others have stated, everyone in my family uses Maggiano s for various auto repairs. They are, simply, THE BEST. Excellent service, super friendly owners (Tom Sr. and Thomas are two of the nicest guys you could ever meet), reasonable pricing I could go on. Been coming here for decades now & have never had anything less than a pleasant and positive experience. Highest recommendation!!!

I ve taken my car here numerous times and each time I ve driven away a happy customer. Tom always communicates what has to be done to the car in an honest and respectful manner. Plus, he and his team are quick. (Tire plugs, engine oil changes, brake pad replacement, inspections.)

I originally went to Maggiano's Auto to get a second quote for a repair. Their pricing came in significantly less than the first shop I had taken it to and the customer service was excellent. I have gone there several time since, mostly for routine maintenance, and they have always been extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Additionally, they work quickly and always have the work done on time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy garage!

Dropped my car off for a check engine light and they had it fixed in a few hours at a fair price. Tom was great at explaining the issue and all the work that was done to resolve it.

I am new to Roxborough/Manayunk and I was hesitant to find a trustworthy mechanic. I brought my car to Maggiano's after reading really great reviews online. I am so happy I chose this shop! Tom Maggiano was honest and quick. He explained things thoroughly. Most importantly, his prices were extremely reasonable. He even went out of his way to find cheaper parts for me. Hands down the best place you can go for any of your car needs. My first time visiting Thomas and he was incredibly nice to me. Looked over the car, called me and let me know what exactly was needed to keep my car running and did not over sell me at all. He gave me an estimate prior to doing the work and that estimate stayed true. Might I also add he had my car ready in a few hours. I could not believe how fast he did the work that would have taken a chain place 2+ days. This guy is the real deal. He will do his best work and even go out of his way to help you.

Just moved to Manayunk and needed to find an auto shop nearby. Came in for the first time to have a tire replaced, and was provided with incredible service. Tom gave me multiple options and provided me with all the information I needed to know and got me back out on the road exactly when he said he would. No hidden fees, no hidden agenda. The price was fair, the job was quick, and my car is running smoother than the day I got it.

I would like to thank Tom Senior and Tom Junior for taking care of Emma s flat tire. Everybody knows Emma worked at Kreuz s Auto Repair and she was very pleased with the way they treated her. So if you re ever in Philly and need repairs. Having my own shop for 24 years and being 4 hours away I was concerned about finding a shop. They're the real professionals in dealing with car problems. When my wife's car got low tread on the tires, they scheduled us for an appointment Monday morning and changed all four tires with less than half it cost at the dealer. Would definitely recommend anyone who's seeking for a good auto repair shop in Manayunk region.

I was looking for a local mechanic and I am so happy to have found this place. Tom is a true professional and truly goes above and beyond to help his customers. Its hard to find mechanics that won't take advantage of people, especially women and I can honestly say I trust my car with Maggianos Auto Repair and I haven't said that in a very long time! A year later (June 2019) the review still holds. I've known a LOT of mechanics in my life, both cycles and cars. Thom is honest and thorough. I never get that odd feeling later that, 'did they really have to do that?' . In my book, that's worth everything. Plus, he claims he didn't do much at all but one of my old Toyotas is running so smooth now it feels New.I just switched to these guys after my long time mechanic sold his shop. So , don't know them that well but they seem exactly as others described. Family guys, super honest and they will work with you on expensive repairs but don't overcharge. He also understood that our old Toyota wagon was just an occasional driver and kept inspection to minimum and clear safety issues. Bringing the Audi in next week for first post warranty, non dealer check up. Maybe they'll earn a five star review.

First time customer for a major service (timing belt, water pump, accessory pump, spark plugs, inspection and oil/filter change). I researched the service needed, and then called a few mechanics (including the dealership). Some shops could not do it, but the person I spoke with at Maggiano's knew exactly what the service would entail and told me a lot about my car (Honda Accord) and the maintenance. I dropped the car off, and later in the day received the quote. $450 cheaper than the dealership. When I picked up the car the person that helped me explained all of the intricacies about my car and the maintenance performed. I feel like I can trust their opinion, and I did so today. It also helped that the price was dramatically cheaper.
