Don is fantastic to work with. Just got wheels, shocks, and struts changed, and the car feels great. When he received parts for less than he initially quoted me, he passed those savings to me instead of pocketing the extra cash.He also included multiple quotes, one that included only the services that were required (in his professional opinion), and one with all of the services I had asked about. He took he time to go through and explain the differences, which helped me make an informed choice about the services I wanted done on my car.This was great for me because, on a budget, I wanted to make sure I'm making the most informed decision about the way I'm spending my money.

Look no further for an honest and reliable neighborhood mechanic!Don did an excellent job taking care of my Ram Promaster 2500. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and on-time with changing the oil and flushing my coolant. The prices were fair and cheaper than a trip to the JiffyLube type establishments. This was my first time at M and S AutoWorks and I already have plans to return to replace my catalytic converter.

I just went to Don and I thought I needed to change my entire oil pan. Don found a simple solution and it saved me a ton of money. He fixed my oil plug which was stripped he ran down to subaru bought a new one and in 2 hours my car was fixed, oil replaced and I can return the oil pan I bought. I will be going to Don for all my needs as not only is he honest he is also a good man and cares about his customers and gives fair pricing. I never leave a review but for Don he deserves it

I called on a Friday afternoon, and Don was able to get me in same day and even stayed late on a Friday evening to finish repairs to my car! This is my second time using M and S and it s been a great experience both times - transparent pricing, quick service, and clear explanations of the problem and how it can be fixed. They really go the extra mile here - highly recommended!

Don loves his work, and I love how he took care of me and my Subaru. He kept me informed early in the car inspection about brakes.Other mechanics I felt rushed. Not here, changed my attitude towards mechanics. Thanks.

This is an auto shop where one can trust the mechanic to be honest, thorough and respectful of your time. He is also very fair with respect to what he charges. We have been going here for many years and have never been disappointed. The next generation of our family are starting to come... really worth trying!!!

His prices are reasonable, and he never pushes unnecessary services. On multiple occasions, he has even suggested money-saving alternatives. Highly recommended!

Top notch business! Don is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have been a customer for over 20 years and have always been given excellent service. I would not even think of going elsewhere. Fast and fantastic service! Needed to have my rear brakes/rotors replaced, and I was quoted a very fair price. I also needed an inspection/emissions and spark plugs replaced. Don said it would take about 4.5 hours for everything, which was a more than reasonable timeframe. He called me 2 hours later, and it was already done! Jeep is running great! I ve been taking our vehicles to Don for about 2 years. He communicates clearly, does what he says he ll do, and charges reasonable rates. When I ve had questions, he s made suggestions but doesn t try to up-sell services. I ve been happy with the quality of work and overall experience. Don is very helpful, genuine, and professional. My F-150 driver s side mirror was broken. He called the dealer and told me the price for just the mirror was insane and suggested me buy one from Amazon. The mirror was only $80 on Amazon and it only took him 10 minutes to put it on.

I took my CRV to M and S for a state inspection, suspension repair, and check engine light diagnosis. Don was clear and thorough with his diagnosis, and extremely fair with pricing. I've been gouged by mechanics in the past and I can tell you from experience, the pricing here is very fair and transparent. First time customer and my car was fixed and inspected in about 3-4 hours, in and out same day. Garage is super easy access from grays ferry/forgotten bottom neighborhoods, and super close to I-76 and bridges into west philly. Highly recommend for fast and earnest service. Affordable too. Will return for future service!

My car AC broke in 90+ F weather. Went to an incompetent autoshop first only to have him overcharge freon to my car. Don has been very helpful and explains to me what went wrong and how to fix it. The price was fair and I'd go there again.

M and S is the diamond in the rough of Philly auto repair shops. I stumbled onto them over ten years ago when I was working at CHOP and I needed someone to replace a timing belt and water pump on my Honda Accord.The location is super convenient for anyone at CHOP or Penn. It s a quick drive over the bridge to get oil changed or routine maintenance during a lunch break.Donny s pricing is always fair and I never feel like he s pushing me to buy something I don t need. Don is awesome. I used to work in the city and Don would work on my car during the day. I no longer work in the city but take my vehicles to him from Bucks County because he is a fair and honest mechanic. My car had a lot of lights on for the last month or so. I called Don last week to tell him about it and he told me to come when I m ready. I called him back this morning (it s a Monday morning) and he let me bring it in right away. Hours later, he knew the problem and resolution. He was able to fix and return my car in less than 8 hours. I ve never had such a great mechanic experience. I ll be bringing my car to Don moving forward.Service: Auto maintenance
