Great team at a local auto shop. I originally scheduled an appointment on a suggestion from a different auto shop, and I'm glad I did. I've frequented Jim's from oil changes and inspections, to spark plug replacements, and will definitely continue. They're very communicative and can usually pencil you in quickly. The pricing is competitive for the area and there are no surprises.I'd highly suggest checking them out!

When I really need.Work done to my car and I want it done right? The only shop I trust is Jim's auto. They are quick. They are affordable They do the job right The first time they are the best shop.I absolutely love JIms For my car issues

I was very stressed about last minute needing my car towed and my starter replaced. I was able to call Jim s moments before they closed to confirm having my car towed to them the next morning. They had my car done the next day for a reasonable price! Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful.

Jims Auto was just perfect. I got an appointment easily. They drove me home while I waited for the car to be Inspected. They picked me back up and their price was reasonable. They also had coupons which helped with the cost of inspection. It could not have been easier. They were professional, courteous, and efficient.

I have been to Jim s twice for oil changes and some other smaller maintenance issues, and I will continue to go back! The pricing is fair, and I trust them, which are the two most important things in auto repair. I will say, do not plan maintenance if you are in a rush, as they are on the slower side. Took 5 hours for an oil change and coolant flush and 24 hours for an oil change and pressure sensor replacement. Just plan accordingly (:

It means a lot to have busy people answer the phone with courtesy,warmth and clear information. When I got to the office to pick up my car,I brought my file of past service and asked Bob to explain current bill. It all made sense. I opted out of two items deemed ok to get done in a couple months,so I would have funds by then to pay. The most important work to keep my geriatric jalopy got done,so I can get my freelance art jobs done. Thank you,Kathe Scullion.

I was having trouble on multiple fronts with my 2010 santa fe. Called Jim's auto as a first time customer because I was looking for a better experience from the other repair places. Not disappointed. They took care of repairs and than some. Efficient, professional. Very satisfied.

I had an early morning appointment, which I was able to book online with no issues. They were there and ready to service me. I thought I needed one thing done but they seen the problem and explained to me what I actually needed done. Customer service was amazing. I will definitely be coming again and referring them.

Was my first time here, the guy's are very nice! The owner even contacts you to make sure you're satisfied with the work they did, great work and it's done in timely fashion. They listen to your concerns and what you think the problem is, even if you don't know what you're talking about. Would go here again even it's for a simple oil change...

I have been going to Jim s Auto Service for a few years now and I have always received exceptional customer service, repairs completed in a timely manner and the cost of repairs are reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to others if you want to go to an auto repair shop that you can trust

I bought a 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT in August 2023. My check engine light came on soon after. Jim s diagnosed that my #6 cylinder was bad. I recently had it diagnosed and replaced at another shop & they replaced it, but the cylinder had gone bad again because the ECM was bad. They replaced both. My truck was running fine until January 2024. Check engine light was on again long story short the transmission needed 2 lines replaced & they also found numerous other problems. Bobby worked with my extended warranty company & got them to pay for half of what was needed ! This shop is professional & trustworthy. I highly recommend them!

As a female it can be a little intimidating getting your care serviced. I went to Jims after being told from another car place that I needed new tires. I called up to Jims to order the 2 tires ahead of my apt on 01/10/24. While I was waiting, they asked was I looking for 2 new tires to match the brand of the back ones, I replied No, I let them know I was told I needed 2 new front tires. They left me know that my front left tire was perfectly fine and that I just needed to change the right one. Instead of being money hungry they were stand up guys and told me exactly what I needed. I appreciate this sooooo much and will defiantly be going back for my future car needs. Thanks Guys!

Jim auto worked on my ABS system for my Cadillac CTS. They were able and willing to use my "Car Shield" warranty which saved me hundreds of dollars. I am a very satisfied customer.

First time using them because they were one of the new businesses in the neighborhood that actually sent out something in the mail and it was the right time for my oil to be changed so main appointment that morning took it up later in the afternoon and it was done a couple hours later all done no extras or anything pushed on me And took the discount and it was very reasonable price for a synthetic oil change

BUYER BEWARE.My normal garage was closed for the Labor Day weekend. My oil change light came on and I wanted to drive to NY for the holiday weekend. I went in for an oil change and an Inspection since they usually need to be done around the same time anyway. They quoted me a fair price over the phone to get my business.I dropped my vehicle off early in the morning and they said that I could pick it up in an hour-hour and a half. Since they had my vehicle I found a place to have breakfast and waited for their call.A little over an hour I hadn t heard anything but since I was walking I thought I could walk back and check to see how much longer it would be. Hopefully getting the update call it was finished while I walked.When I got there they told me I needed a bunch of work done and they didn t have a quote yet so to wait. I waited about 30-40 extra minutes to see what the repairs were going to cost.After they finally talked to whoever they quoted me $1500 for all sorts of alignment repairs. I said no. I just want the oil change and since my inspection still had another month I would like my car back.It took them another hour to change my oil.When I got back from my trip after the holiday I told my usual garage what had happened and they said to bring the vehicle in. They ll give me a second opinion.They said I needed 1 brake light and one small repair that had nothing to do with alignment and the total bill with being reinspected, parts and labor was under $500.Jim s auto service is horrible.Don t trust them.

I recommend Jims to anyone around the Philadelphia area! Anytime I have a car need Jims is quick to fix it, do a great job, and are very fair and upfront with pricing. Jims is the only place I ll bring my car.

I moved back to Philly from Brooklyn a year ago, and was referred to Jim s by a friend of mine who s taken his car there for years. I m so thankful for the referral! The guys at Jim s are awesome, always friendly, and accommodating. Every time, I ve had excellent, prompt service, at good prices. I completely trust them with my car and am glad they re so close by. I only wish they were open on Saturdays.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

We realized that my 17 year old s car was overdue for an inspection and needed an oil change and we needed both done immediately before we left on vacation. I called a few places near our home and no one had availability. I called Jim s and they were able to take the car and have it done within 12 hours. They communicated with me, were willing to work with our ASAP time frame, and we are very pleased with how the car runs. We moved to the neighborhood less than a year ago and we found our forever car place!

Jim s was a life saver. My Infinitis AC Compressor died, and then a few days later my car wouldn t start after stopping for gas. I had it towed to a dealership who said the engine was seized and I needed to replace it for $15,000. I called Jim s and explained the situation to the mechanics there. They immediately said the story didn t line up with a seized engine. I had it towed over to Jim s and within an hour they called saying the engine was not seized, and that I only had to replace the compressor, a belt, and a tightener. They had my car fixed by the end of the day and only $2200+ tax. I got very good and trustworthy vibes from the team at Jim s and of course mechanically speaking they were correct. This was 2 weeks ago and my car is running perfectly again. 10/10, will definitely be back to Jim s.Services: Auto A/C recharge, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

Good morning! I am very pleased with Jim's Auto Service. I had a dead battery in my crv..I called Jim and his team. They immediately came to my home. Checked my auto. They determined it was a dead battery and drove my crv to their establishment where Jim replaced with a new battery . I am a very pleased customer and will be going back for more service when needed.
