If you stumble across this review, don t even think about going anywhere else. I discovered Import Service Unlimited on google after a negative experience at the VW dealership and I am so happy I did. Jim was kind, transparent, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help get me back on the road and I could not recommend enough. 10/10

Found this place on google and am I glad I did. Honest work at a very reasonable price, moreover the owner lets you bring in your own parts, so you only pay for labor. I have been going to Jim since 2004 when I was still in school. He was highly recommended by my landlord and the tenant. I found him being very professional, honest, and kind. He does such incredible job too. As a single woman at the time, I always felt I can trust him doing very good work for my car with fair price. He would explain car related issues to me. When I asked if certain things need to be done for my car, he would check and tell me no, it's fine, vs. my experiences at other places had been that they would push things on you and you can almost be certain that they are not being honest. I have moved away and got married later. My husband takes care of our cars mostly now. During Christmas, we made a trip to Philly and took my car to Jim to have the timing belt changed. We trust him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. You can count on him doing a perfect job on your car and being fair.

This is one of a short list of home grown family owned shops in the area. They mostly deal with Audi, Volkswagen, and other European Brands. But if you have a late model Audi or Volkswagen definitely reach out to them. They will take care of your car.

I watched the owner assist a young lady in her 60's with her vehicle. I was amazed as he serviced her vehicle with minor needs and shook her hand as payment, even she was stunned. I felt like buying him a meal as payment for his kindness...

Pragmatic father/son shop specializing in German marques. Over twice the experience of any dealer for less than half the price. German Car Specialist - this shop is a prime example of why you take your car to a specialist and not franchise/general mechanic. Very knowledgeable mechanics, highly recommended for anything VW
