I first met Ang through a mutual friend at the clinic I work at. While fixing my brakes, Ang told me about his story of working as a mechanic and his dreams about owning his own shop one day. It's awesome to that hard work come to fruition! As the new owner of Frank's Auto Service, Ang continues to do good work at great prices while supporting his lovely family. As long as I'm in South Philly, I'll be coming to Ang for all of my auto needs. If you need anything car related, Ang's your man. Inspections, oil changes, engine issues, brake changes, custom jobs, etc...he does them all! Frank's Auto was recommended to me by a friend who was familiar with the old owner.The newer owner, Ang, was talking to me about how he ended up taking over the place, and it sounds like Frank went the extra mile to hold out until he found a buyer who was going to keep the spirit alive. He couldn't have made a better choice.Ang truly went above and beyond my expectations.He did everything he could to keep costs down, communication and turnaround was fast and efficient.My car had broken down over in the Queen Village area, and he even drove out to see if there was any on-the-spot fixes he could do to save me the the tow!As other clueless car owners know, it's hard to find a mechanic who doesn't 'find things wrong' after assuming you won't know better. Particularly if you're a woman.So, as someone who really doesn't know better, Ang has my business for life.Side note: There are two car repair places on this street, and Frank's is not the big one on the corner of Snyder.Keep going down 8th. Ang is in the smaller spot on the left, right before you get to Jackson. Easy mistake to make!

I love Frank! He knows what he's doing!! We've been coming to Frank for about 8 years now. We moved to Media in Delaware County about two years ago, and we still come out to see him every year to get both cars serviced or inspected.

Been coming here since i was 12 years old with my dad, now i bring my car, very friendly and overall honest person, gets the job done right and fast. And for a great price. If you need the part you need, if not im not going to get you for something u dont need - frank
