I took my BMW 645Ci to Foreign Auto Hospital for repair due to an oil leak. I paid them a large sum for engine repairs that I was told would fix the problem with my car. However, when I picked my car up and drove it home, it was still leaking oil. I returned it to Foreign Auto Hospital a second time. After they kept the car for a week, I was assured that it was no longer leaking. That was not the case. The next day I discovered the car was still leaking and called Foreign Auto Hospital to return it to them a third time. Dimitri, the shop s owner, checked it out again and told me the left side of the engine was still leaking and that they would re-do the repairs on that side. When I picked my car up, after they had it for almost two additional weeks the third time, the car was still leaking oil. I went to Foreign Auto Hospital a fourth time and Dimitri persisted that they had made proper repairs and oil was not leaking from the engine. He told me it was power steering fluid leaking and said he did not want to fix that problem. All along I noticed how Dimitri transitioned from being Mr. Nice Guy to rude and arrogant. I took my car to a BMW Specialist who told me that no power steering fluid is leaking from my car. I was told that oil is still leaking from the engine because repairs were not done properly. They told me that the valve cover gaskets were replaced but Foreign Auto Hospital neglected to replace the valve seals and upper timing cover gaskets, which would have stopped the leak and fixed the problem. I was also told that the job could not be done properly by simply replacing valve cover gaskets, and the additional work was a requirement. Foreign Auto Hospital claims to be a Foreign Car Specialist, they should have known this. I sent a written request for reimbursement and got no response.

I bought a Porche 911 that he replaced the engine in that he sourced, last year. At the time it was slightly not not up to his standards and he removed it and sourced another hard to find used engine with surprusingly similar mileage. It was an upgrade in power and the total cost was unchanged from our original discussion. He did the thorough work in a timely manner and was easy to communicate with. The car runs great, especially when it s driven fast. I only wish he was my neighbor to do business with.Service: Engine repair

After looking for a good mechanic for a while, I decided to check out this place. Its so hard to find a mechanic that has knowledge about jaguars and has all the appropriate tools to do the work. I brought my Jaguar XJL for the first time and Dimitri did such a good job with changing my spark plugs and setting the codes correctly for this battery issue that I was having. The price was the best I've seen around so it felt like a win-win. Knowledge on my car, plus price.

I'll start by saying I almost never leave reviews for anything, but for this shop I'll definitely have a go at it. I started going to this shop because I know the owners brother that recommended it to me. I have a Volvo s60R that I've been taking it there after recently buying it for mostly general maintenance. It's helpful that this shop has a working vida/dice unit to help diagnose Volvo's like mine. I've actually had a fuel issue with the car and Dimitri, the owner, diagnosed what might have been going on with my car after I've had him replace a lot of parts and couldn't see what the issue might have been because I replaced everything that, what I thought, might have been causing it. Since he knows cars like mine he actually had an idea pop up in his head from a similar issue another s60R was having that I doubt many other shops would have even considered, and he was right! Car is running like brand new now, so I'm happy about that. This is one of those honest shops you hope to find in your dreams when looking for indy mechanics, which is definitely helpful if you do own a performance or classic car, but I also see some regular cars come around so it's not all they do. If I could give 6 stars I definitely would.

The best auto repair shop I've ever been at. They really know what they are doing at this place. I take all my cars there and have never had any problems with anything. All this and more at affordable price's too. I took my car to a local BMW dealer and they gave me an estimate of over $4,600 to fix an issue related to the ValveTronic system for my 2013 X3. I was referred to Dmitry and he took care of the issue plus have my car inspected and changed the oil and filter for a little over $1,400. He is very professional and caring. I do greatly appreciate his honesty and kindness.

Love this place, the owner super nice he works with you! he does great jobs and he gets it done when he says he's going to get it done. Honestly, in this area I would not get any work done on my car except by him! My stepmother had a car.. needed a lot of work somebody was trying to charge like $1,300 and gave me a better job more work done for just thousand bucks I was very happy then again he was very good with everything I went to pick up the car late even after they closed on a Sunday he still came to meet me to give me the car definitely use him if you need mechanic work

This is a good automobile repair shopReasonable price. Dimitri works with price. Good and Honest people. They open early and close late. Dimitri come in weekend if you work out of town and you don t pick up your car on weekdays. I recommend to take your vehicle to any repair

Best garage around. I drive almost 40 miles to have them work on any of my cars. He is honest and upfront about the work that needs done. For years I put my trust into dealership service and it has cost me a small fortune. If you want honesty, quality, and a fair price this is your place. I am now a life long customer of theirs. Foreign Auto has been in my family for at least 40 years, between Grandparents, Parents, and myself for at least 20+ years. Jeff Rosen kept a very honest and thorough business. Now that Jeff has retired, I'm happy to say his choice for his replacement, Dimitri, is an excellent one. Dimitri recently did my inspection and brakes. Jeff would always explain any repairs needed, and transparent about the cost. Always courteous, and honest about what needs to be done, why, and in order of priority. I'm happy to say that Dimitri has continued with the excellent service. Highly recommended in the past, highly recommend now. You're in great hands with Foreign Auto Hospital.

I will never take my car back to MB. I am so happy we found this place. They are quick, professional, and outstanding service. They actually care about their customers.I was not taken advantage of , as a matter of fact I feel as though MB has taken advantage of me for years, with price gouging! I found Dmitry to be arrogant, unreasonable, and overconfident. I had taken my 2001 Mercedes-Benz C320 car to him in mid-September 2022 to check for a limp-mode transmission issue. All he did was a 10-minutes scan of the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with a hand-held device while the car was in the parking lot. Dmitry did not do the basic transmission fluid check or anything else but charged me $120 just for the 10-minutes scan in the parking lot! Only on my insistence did Dmitry provide a printout of the scan and stated that he could reprogram the faulty TCM module for a hefty $500 adding that he would not guarantee that the transmission problem could be fixed despite the reprogramming (I declined the atrocious offer). For the 10-minutes scan Dmitry wanted me to pay $100 in CASH only. When I insisted on paying by credit card, he added $20 and charged me $120 ($20 as penalty for not paying in cash!). Moreover, Dmitry did not provide any tax invoice despite my request. No tax was added to the unreasonable $120 charge, and Dmitry joked that he does not like to pay taxes. NOT RECOMMENDED.Service: Transmission repair

The services is amazing I have never had somone keep my car running so good the prices is great. I have a Nissan SUV and anytime I have a problem they are always welling to let me come the same day. They will even order ur peices for you and still the price us always less then what I was expecting. Amazing Service

Dmitry is an Ace. I had a strange mechanical problem with my Jeep that I had towed to him. He diagnosed the issue quickly and had me back on the road in no time. He does my state inspections and oil changes regularly. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a mechanic. Hes hard working and honest.

I used Jeff as my mechanic for over 30 yrs. When Jeff retired, I was a little hesitant about using Dimitri as my mechanic. Turns out that Jeff made a good choice in choosing Dimitri to take over the business. Dimitri is an honest mechanic who like Jeff knows cars. Man I am writing this review as I m leaving the parking lot!!! Amazing and fast turn around time, I spent 2 years with a shady mechanic who has charged me so much money, long story short Dmitry and his team fix my problem same day charges me the actual fee!! Highly recommend.

I dropped off my car in the morning and I was able to pick it up that same afternoon before they closed. I could not be more impressed with the work done. They not only fixed my car, but they gave it a great cleaning and took the dull color out of my head lights! You will be highly recommended. Excellent work guys!!!"
