I ve been to Blatt a couple of times now. They re a great neighborhood fixture. They made quick work of both my tire problems. They are transparent in their process and have fair pricing. All around just a great group of people. I recommend going there if you ever get a flat on Philly s terrible roads.

I called Blatt Tire to schedule an alignment as I had just replaced the lower control arm bolts on my SUV. The man who answered the phone told me they wouldn't touch a vehicle if anyone else had worked on it previously including another shop. My vehicle is a 2008 from CA so obviously it's been to other shops over the years. I've had many vehicles and been to many shops over the years and I have to say this is a first. Sad part is I was recommended to this shop, I live in the area and would have definitely had more work for them in the future as my vehicle has high mileage and I stay on top of my maintenance.

Blatt Tire was a lifesaver! Due to poor driving on my part I ended up with two flat tires the morning before Thanksgiving (long story). I got the car to Blatt and they ordered, installed, and balanced the tires all in one day. No rush price -- that's just the way they run their shop. I highly recommend.

The valve on my tire broke off and I temporarily put the spare on. I got a new replacement for my Honda Fit for about $150 in less than 20 minutes. Very friendly and very fast. I d come back in a heartbeat!

I was loyal to Blatt for years because they did good work at fair prices & the wait wasn't too bad. Over 6 years I spent thousands for work on two different cars and referred a bunch of friends & family. They (Eric) always treated me like a friend but when I went to them about a small issue from a previous repair, I definitely didn't feel like a loyal customer..They acknowledged one of their mechanics missed a step & said it was no big deal to fix, but when I asked how & when we could take care of it, they pretty much checked out of the conversation.. No apology, no replacement, no reimbursement, no discount.. We're only talking $50-$100, which probably isn't much to them but it's actually pretty significant in my situation. In their defense, they did offer to do about 10 minutes of labor to help me out 'when they had a chance', but I was left with 100% of the replacement cost & had to pay for another 2 days of Ubers to work.I know customer service isn't what it used to be and margins are tight these days, but I think your tight margins are hurting customer services.. I wasn't expecting an F1 team to sprint out to my car, but the sad truth is that they could've solved the whole thing for $10-20 cost and ten minutes of their time. Instead I had to pay $75 to undo their mistake, use Uber for 2 extra days, totalling $165 that I don't have, and waste all this time writing stupid reviews to warn other customers that things may have changed a bit at Blatt..Ricky Blatt says "You can count on Blatt for great deals on tires & auto service" but that didn't work out for me

I would give negative stars if I can."The most disappointing automotive service experience I've ever had was at a particular establishment. I visited this place seeking an alignment check and other related problem diagnostics, and I also requested a test drive. To my dismay, one of the employees informed me that a test drive was not possible, and instead, he merely inspected the car and advised me to change the tires. However, I emphasized the need for them to address other issues with the vehicle. Surprisingly, they spent over three hours solely on changing the tires and then condescendingly told me to leave my car there due to a wobbling problem, insinuating that I was incapable of driving it safely. Furthermore, a young and aggressive worker at the facility made an inappropriate remark, mentioning manslaughter.When I questioned why they had spent three hours changing tires instead of addressing the main issue of wobbling, they failed to provide a satisfactory response and simply insisted that the tires needed to be changed first.Subsequently, I decided to seek assistance from another automotive service provider in New Jersey. They promptly examined my car, assured me they could fix the issues within three to four hours, and even offered to address some minor concerns with the bumper at a more affordable price.Here are my various complaints about the aforementioned place:1. Deception: I informed them that I would come immediately as I needed urgent repairs. They assured me that it was not busy and I could bring my car in right away. However, upon arrival, I discovered that they had already taken in all the cars and I had to wait for my turn. This wasted my time, as I had work commitments and nothing was being resolved. I am fully capable of changing tires myself, and my primary concern was addressing other problems with the vehicle.2. Pricing: The prices they charged me were uncompetitive compared to other repairing shop I have visited. They demanded $629 for changing four tires of low quality. I am considering requesting a refund, but I am hesitant to engage in further arguments with them. As a Civil Engineer, I do not wish to waste my time dealing with this repairing shop.3. Disrespectful Attitude: The employees spoke to me in an aggressive manner and failed to provide professional responses to my inquiries. I would not recommend this place to everyone as the treatment I received was unacceptable.4. Slow Service: The tire change took an excessively long time, while I could have easily done it myself within one or two hours. They offered nonsensical explanations for the prolonged wait to fix the wobbling issue, even though another place in New Jersey could complete the job in two to three hours. If anyone requires the name of the alternative service provider, please feel free to text me. I have no intention of advertising car repairing places in South Jersey.I should have trusted the reviews I read about this place, as they were indeed worth considering. This was my first and last time visiting this dreadful car repairing.

From the first contact very early in the minting to the last contact after paying for service this place is fantastic! Max and Tom and everyone did everything possible to get me and my car sorted in time for me to catch a very important train even with a last minute need for a brake job to pass inspection. I can honestly say I d give them a triple 5 Star rating if that were an option! Thank you everyone at Marv Blatt Tire and Auto Repair for the extraordinary service and kindness as well.I will not hesitate to come back for all my auto needs.

Always courteous, practical and professional. They take pride in knowing their customers and handle anything from quick fix ups to major repairs, whatever the customer needs. Never feels like they are trying to sell you on the most expensive option. For small things they might even help you out free of charge. Best service shop in philly.

If I could give this shop a -1000/10, I would. Read on, especially if you're a woman.I needed a tire replaced a few months ago and came to Blatt. I also needed an oil change done. To change the oil, the shield underneath needed to removed/put back on. After getting my car back and driving, I heard a noise and realized the shield was barely attached and being dragged along, barely holding on. While I was frustrated, I just decided to not come back here after such shoddy work.When I took my car (to a different shop) for the state inspection, I get a call. Three of my tires are an "H" speed rating and one of them is a "T" speed rating. Which tire had the T speed rating? None other than the one Blatt replaced.I called Blatt and the man I spoke was extremely condescending and accused me of lying. My receipt stated that Blatt had put an H tire on my car. The employee said I could've had the tire changed or rotated and if the receipt had the correct speed rating, they couldn't do anything. I aruged backed and they told me to bring the tire and receipt in the following day. He said if I brought the car in, maybe they could exchange the tire.I asked my husband to go instead of me. He walked in with the tire and told the employee they sold me the wrong tire. The employee didn't question anything, didn't look at my vehicle, nothing, and just offered my husband a refund.I'm glad I got my money back, but this whole interaction reeks of being condescending because I'm a woman. This shop does poor work, and I'll never be back. Consumers be warned.

The team at Blatt Tire takes care of my car really well each time I need anything! They are accommodating and recommend what I need. Max helped me recently with my tires and was very knowledgeable about what I needed and I appreciated it so much! I highly recommend Blatt Tire.

Great team and great service! Yesterday I had an emergency need for a tire repair as I had a puncture on my Jeep Grand Cherokee rear tire. I pulled in and was greeted very professionally. Within minutes they had taken off the wheel, showed me the bolt that had penetrated the tire tread. Looked bad! Fortunately it was pluggable. I was back on the road 10 minutes later!! Very professional, cost effective, and positive! Fully recommend.

I ve been to Blatt several times so I should have known better. They treat my father well but of course they do. He s a white man. The first time they put a bad clutch in my car and when I called to tell them they laughed at me and said It must be driver error. After a man tested it they admitted it was a bad part. More recently I took it in and $3100 later my car was worse than it was when I dropped it off. They didn t fix anything I brought it there for. Then when I asked about it they said they test drove it and it was fine. Bottom line, if you re a man then they ll probably listen to you. Ladies, stay away. I ll never go back.

I don t like to write poor reviews and I ve been to this shop before and they have done fine with basic things (inspection, oil change, tire replacement, etc.) However, over the past month, my car was shaking and stuttering. I brought my car here about 4 times because the issue kept happening, I got a few things repaired there, none of them fixed the issue. I decided I needed to take it somewhere else for a second set of eyes, the other shop diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes and had my car fixed within 2 hours. I m not sure how Blatt missed what was going on with my car so many times. It was almost as if they expected me to tell them what was wrong and I m not a mechanic it was a month of one big headache. Happy I found a new place to take my car.

Women beware!! Do NOT go here!! Got a flat and was told by AAA that my tires were in great condition. Went here for a simple plug in my tire and was told that I needed all 4 tires replaced! Better yet, they tried to convince two other young women to replace their tires while I was waiting for them to fix mine. Shortly after driving my car home, my AC stopped working too (and I just got the whole unit replaced by my Honda dealer 1 year ago). I don t know what they did, but I don t trust this place at all. If you care about your car, or just want fair service, DON T GO HERE!

I had recently gotten a new battery for my car since my last one died. A few weeks after the new battery, my car was showing issues with it again so I took it Blatt and Sean the manager was kind enough to stop what he was doing and checked it for me. Turned out it was a bad battery and advised I take it back to where I bought it to get it replaced under warranty.

I was traveling and had a bent rim and the tire leaked. They were very helpful, found me a used replacement and had me out in less than an hour. They were all very helpful and kind.

Had a nail in my tire -- Was recommended to go to Blatt's - Very happy with the work they did to quickly repair the tire and get me on my way. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing tire service.

Got 4 new tires replaced and then my tire pressure light wasn t going off after, come to find out they broke the tire pressure sensors during install. They denied it at first then admitted it and I went back and forth because they still wanted to charge me to fix it. Ultimately, they fixed at their cost as they should.I wouldn t go back there.

Right after the holidays I got a flat in Center City. Couldn't be a worse place to get stuck. My car uses run flats and I called many places to see if someone had my size as often run flats are not common tires. Dealer needed several days to get them. Blatt could get them next morning and install. I decided to replace all four tires with Blatt. When I picked the car up all the rims had scratches in a radial direction. I brought the scratches to the techs attention. They said I probably did them. That I should have photographed the rims prior if I wanted to have proof. I drove car to dealer and asked service manager to take a look. Dealer was certain it was from Blatt's tire mounting equipment. I called Blatt back and they finally offered to refinish and repaint the rims but wouldn't guarantee a match. If you can't install tires what makes me think you can refinish my rims? They just wanted to save money. And they'd need my car for multiple days when I lived very far away. Owner said my car was 7 years old and making a big deal out of it. I offered to accept a partial refund to settle the matter and choose a repair shop of my choosing I trusted. I provided estimates from two shops. He refused. So I documented everything and disputed with my credit card company and won. If you have nice rims photograph them first. Blatt Tire should up their quality control. No one should have to photograph their rims first to make sure someone isn't careless.

I ve been taking my car here since 2019. The staff has always been friendly and explains what they need to do in ways I understand since I am not the most mechanically inclined. Their prices are always fair and they work efficiently and are always good about calling me to let me know what s going on and when my car is complete. I d highly recommend Blatt for anything as simple as an oil change or major fix.
