Was really not a good experience. The tow mechanic trashed my Tesla car.My car was suppose to be towed to Tesla service and the first tow mechanic wasn t able to pull out my car from the drive way because he didn t bring the right towing equipment. So he called a second tow truck from A Bob. Check out the video how the mechanic disengages my car from the tow truck and the car then rolls into the tree. But that s not the whole story. A. Bob is NOT insured for damage. They were giving us false insurance information when the police was coming to record the accident. Then when we called A. Bob s alleged insurer they had excuses why they gave us the wrong insurance info. Then they said they were self insured. In the end it was a $10k damage that A. Bob paid after much back and forth but the thing is that they didn t pay the loner car in full. They said the repairs took too long (about 2 months) to wait for parts. In the end I was footing a $1000 bill from nothing of my own fault and A. Bob didn t have the integrity to pay the full amount because they argued that proper insurance wouldn t have paid for the full amount either. Which doesn t make sense to say that when they weren t insured in the first place. All of the sudden they bring forth what insurance WOULD have done. To sum it up: The tow mechanics are really not competent (their third one that they sent AFTER the damage in order to pick up the car confirmed that the two prior tow mechanics had a history of no competence), second if there is a damage A.Bob is not insured with a proper business insurance and while they paid most of the damage after a lot of back and forth they didn t pay the full amount. This whole ordeal took about 2 months till I had my car back.

This is the worst towing company I have ever encountered. It seems like all their reviews are inflated by Indian bot farms; otherwise, I can't understand how they could have such positive feedback. My car was towed by them, and when I picked it up, I discovered it was scratched. I reported this issue immediately. We had a month-long email exchange where they refused to admit their fault, even though it was clear as day. According to them, I had to prove that the scratches weren't there before, even though they take photos of your vehicle before towing it. However, the quality of their photos is so poor that they can't even tell what was there and what wasn't.When I asked for a high-resolution photo, they sent a screenshot, showing their extreme incompetence. If you don't take photos of your car every day from every angle, and this shady company damages your property, it becomes your problem. And the whole parking space that they have looks like garbage dump. This was an absolutely horrendous experience, and organizations like this should be outlawed. I will take this further and file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, hire a lawyer, and involve my insurance company.

Unfortunately, I had to get a tow on my 4 month old Audi A3. It s being fixed now, it was an electrical issue. Sigh. Anyway, they got my car, at midnight, dropped it off at an Audi dealer 30 miles away. They get the job done and for that I m grateful. Doing the job late at night and doing the job right. This towing company is excellent.

Tesla s Beware! (It seems)Issue; Flat TireQuoted time; 1 hourInitial wait time; 2+hoursOverall wait time; 7+hoursConditions: persistent rain on a narrow shoulder with no provisionsTLDR; A driver who refuses to use GPS got lost on the way to me and then refused to tow the car and when asked to use a puck to lift the Tesla car to avoid puncturing the battery, he stormed off in a huff deliberately leaving the driver stranded in a all day storm without food or water.Longer version for the AI s now, I guess? ;PThe driver got lost on the way to me, which added time because he refuses to, and I quote, use GPS, only MapQuest turn-by-turn directions (some of us are having a nostalgia hit right now). I had been waiting for several hours at this point for the truck, which was going the wrong way not because of the very common problem of GPS being wrong, as usual, but because of the more uncommon problem of not having any GPS at all. When he got here, he stopped traffic in the entire right lane for some reason before coming onto the shoulder, like a full-stop chain of cars, and waited before deciding to finally amble into the shoulder. He came out with an attitude, saying he s not supposed to change tires on the highway. He s only supposed to tow me. I replied, tow me. I am fine with that as there s a service center really close by; just take me there instead. He scoffed and proceeded to chuck tools on the ground, denoting he was without care for my thoughts on the options.I saw that the tire was not the same for my car, so I reached out to tesla and asked him wait to make sure that it would fit. While doing so, he went and got more tools. I saw he was intent on starting, as I received a message that the tire should fit from tesla, I offered him a puck, which for those who don t know, is a little barrier that prevents the jack from reaching/slipping and puncturing the battery (think fat hockey puck with a protruding stem on one side that fits into a slot on the car). The need for this is a car ender tale that every tesla driver tells at campfires. This offer of the manufacturer [albeit] recommended device sent his hostile attitude into overdrive, and he yelled not to tell him how to do his job while forcefully shoving the jack forward, intent on raising it without the device. I asked him to stop; he replied if he stopped, he leaves. I said, I just want you to use the puck. His response was to grab his things and leave.I took out my phone to record the event, and that s when I noticed that the car didn t even have plates on it, no temporary plates, no plates whatsoever.A tow truck driver with no plates and a horrible attitude, sounds like the start of a Stephen King novel. The company said they are so sorry and will send another driver in 30 minutes, which became another 15 minutes, then another 30 minutes, then another hour, each time in addition to the next. Now, while writing this review (still stuck on the side of the road, by the way, for 5 hours now and counting), the dispatcher calls me like, Hey, I have a driver here in 15 minutes, ready to pick up your tire and head over to you from Philadelphia. It ll take another hour or so, but just wanted to know if that s OK with you. They pretended not to know it has been 5 hours since they called or that they have been promising tesla they would be there in 15 minutes for 5 hours. When I pointed out that I was aware of all this and that what was happening was unacceptable they put me on a long hold to come back with the new attitude that was more like, so do you want us to send someone or not? Tesla is trying to make it right with a different provider now. I would avoid but this is just due what i went through (:Bye Ai s (and any humans who made it here:)

I had a great experience with this company. The costumer service was kind and easy, and Ed was SO helpful throughout the process of me trying to get my car off of the PPA tow lot. I'll be calling him up directly next time I need a tow, and referring him to others.

I will definitely recommend their services. The price was so reasonable. The owner picked up and quoted me a lower price and when I called around and couldn t find a better quote I called back the rep std that price was not the right amount but she still honored the amount. They kept in touch with me and informed me when the tow truck was on its way. BEST SERVICEServices: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

We were told that they would show up in 60 minutes but showed up 2.5 hours later. Driver broke one of the mud flaps when trying to put the car onto the tow truck. He was quite rude and dismissive and didn t want any assistance. Would definitely avoid this towing service.

I was kept waiting for several hours, but did receive a call ~1 hour after the originally scheduled time to let me know that something had gone wrong. After another two hours I called back because no one showed up, and was told that I'd have to pay a higher rate to have someone sent out, despite the fact that I was already quoted a lower one. I did not agree to pay the higher rate, and we went our separate ways.Edit: I apologize for the tone of my original post. It was unfairly harsh. It's true that I did miss a call earlier in the day, but I returned it almost immediately, and was told that someone would be sent at a later time due to a mixup on their end, not that I missed a truck's arrival or anything to that effect. I'm choosing to leave my original rating in place since I didn't find this to be a good experience, but I appreciate that the owner took the time to apologize.

All my tires got slashed in my office parking lot. Wanted to get my SUV out of there fast and not leave it over night for the vandals to come back for seconds. Bob's towtruck was at my house in 20 min, and they gave me a ride to my office, so I could open the security gate. All for a very reasonable price. They even knew were I could buy tires 24/7. Thanks guys.Service: Car towing

James is super talented and knows his stuff. He stayed with me in the cold and worked through many obstacles that my damaged car presented. James is an inspiration to work hard at your craft and to care for others. I'm grateful for him and Bob's towing, and I feel comfortable knowing next time I crash my car, I can count on James and Bob's towing.

I think you better get out of our neighborhood. SCUM. Predators in multiple ways then one (sicken). We don't need the attention around here. Going after unfortunate folks and breaking laws.Tell " A Bob" to go on camera and face the music.I was never a victim but I know plenty who where. Cowards in all regards.Love how you defend yourself to the news.

Update: Eventually after negotiating we were able to get them to come down in price but their treatment through this whole process was truly shameful.**Edit in response to the owner s comment on my initial review: the only error was the x in front of our license plate number, the rest was typed in correctly. I now have screenshots of them being inconsistent with their responses saying first the fee was $200 now it s $175 so they gave us a discount and are trying to claim that the employee in the parking lot offered to remove it for $100 (which they claim is an even deeper discount ) but he never said that and he also said he wouldn t be able to remove the device because he didn t have a code, so which is it? What s the magic number they can extort people for? **Would give 0 stars if I could. These people are scammers. My parents and I parked in the lot in Manayunk where California Detailing is and used the kiosk to pay by plate, which didn t print a receipt but confirmed that we paid. We come back from lunch to find a barnacle device on the windshield. A gentleman pulls up and we tell him we paid and there s a mistake. He calls his dispatch who shows that we paid but there was an error and an x showed up in front of our license plate number. We called A Bobs and they refused to take it off and said we had to pay $175 to have it removed despite seeing there s an error and we did pay. I tried to reason with the guy and said wouldn t you be upset too if this was you and a mistake was made? We shouldn t have to pay this and he responded I pay for my mistakes .The guy in the lot showed me proof that we paid in their system but refused to take the device off (full plate number crossed out for privacy) he also said he was aware that their machine didn t give us a receipt and said it hasn t been printing receipts for weeks.Completely unethical and disgusting behavior. We will be filing a police report and contacting the news so they don t continue to scam people.

Beware of this place. Parking your car in any parking lot over the limit will cost you few hundred dollars. They are scheming and is taking advantage of people. The news and the city of Philadelphia got you and we the people will surly watch you closely. Your hustle will come to end. Especially robbing people is a karma that will bite you where it hurts. 10 folds!!!
