Excellent place to take your car for repairs. They are in my opinion, hands down the best auto repair place I've ever taken a car to. Excellent workmanship, always a fair price and they are just overall good people.

They are so polite. They are the very first people I've ever met in my life that actually take the time to figure out and talk to you about your concerns with your vehicle... They are reasonable when it comes to prices and if you don't need something they will let you know and that saves a lot of time and money... They are the very best in my opinion if you ask me... I found my forever home now since moving to the area that was my biggest concern when owning a vehicle and finding trustworthy mechanics ..

They don t respond very fast. There s links to Facebook and email and they really just don t get back to you. Also, they claim to not have availability for things but yet do walk-ins still which doesn t exactly make sense since Midas accepts walk ins when they have the availability but there s ALWAYS walk ins at Ed s Auto but yet if I try to do something more time consuming then an oil change I ll get told no over the phone and yes in person.I got an oil change multiple times and they didn t put oil into the car after the oil change was complete. They are going to ruin someone s engine and cost them a fortune.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. They worked on my 59 dodge and ran the exhaust over the front axle that was crushed shut by the suspension. They didn't account for any suspension movement. They put a new gas tank in, and he ran a gas line over a brake line where the two were rubbing, which would have resulted in a fire or loss of brakes. The fuel line then went over a corner of the frame and was also rubbing. Unbelievably bad workmanship. And this only took 6 months. Stay away!

Well wasn t going to do this BUT it seems like this is a trend for this place. My son took his car there for an alignment and they told him it needed rear struts or they couldn t do it. We took it to a different shop for another opinion and as we thought they were fine. He took it back here for and inspection and came out with a very long list of needed repairs but low and behold the rear struts were not on there. STOP TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE THAT DON T KNOW ABOUT VEHICLES! DO BETTER ED!!!!

After 2 years as a customer I recently had my first bad experience with Ed's auto. They put the incorrect spark plugs in my car during my tune up. 3 months later I get a check engine light stating engine misfire which could have be very dangerous for me to drive home. I had to use the nearest mechanic available as to not do further damage to my car. I called them right away to advise of the situation and thoroughly documented them pulling out the bad spark plugs and replacing them as well as the computer diagnostic screen to show it was the sole problem. I was berated and treated extremely unprofessional I was more than reasonable I advised I understand people make mistakes but this should be rectified with the 155$ reimbursement showed on the receipt and was told oh well the computer said we could put it in your car even though we said nissans only take ngk and it lasted 3 months so no. This is unacceptable especially for a customer of 2 years . Would not recommend and will be taking all 4 of our cars elsewhere. Please watch out for them

I've been using Ed's for many years. They have been nothing but honest and fair with all my repairs. I have never felt cheated or ripped off. Also, their hours are very convenient. I used their tow service and I found that to be reasonable too. I highly recommend this shop.

Rip off, big time. Yes they can get you in fast sometimes, BUT They charge an arm and a leg & there always saying it needs more work after having tons of work done on multiple good vehicles. Never going there again, since I found Joes Auto in Bath.

I am from out of state visiting, and my brother noticed a large bulge on my front tire. He said I had to get it fixed immediately and sent me to Ed's Auto Sales. They had to order me two tires (both my brother and son said I had to get two to match) and within two hours they called and said they were in and when I arrived back they took me right in. I explained how much I wanted and did not want to spend and they gave me choices to pick from. I was very happy with the service and when I need my two back ones replaced will have them do that again when I am up again.

Ed's Auto is the only place I trust with my car. Quick, efficient service, very fair about prices. I recommend them to everyone. My friends and I have all moved away from the area but we're more than happy to drive a bit out of our way to see these guys whenever we need work done. Can't recommend them enough.

Attempted to get my car inspected here, for the new year there was a sign out front that said 50% off emissions and inspections. The mechanic who looked at my car was down right rude, informed me he would give me the emissions sticker but would never give my car a sticker for inspection simply because my car was a little rusty? And then still charged me the full $50 for the emissions with only half of the service. The original listed price for and emissions is $49 and inspection is originally priced at $49, so there was no 50% off the service like advertised out front. Not only never be returning here but will let my friends and family know of the terrible service provided

This place rips people off. Dont take your vehicle there for an inspection since they tell you your car wont pass unless you replace the part that they charge 10 times the price for. And the part they are making you replace had literally nothing wrong with it. They take advantage of people who dont know about their vehicles. Never coming back. Plus, NONE of the employees ever wear masks. They require us to wear masks but not themselves. Hypocritical jerks

Very poor service. We were charged several hundred Dollars for a part that did not fix the issue as they told us it would. When questioning them, they said they only work off a computer and they type in the issue and fix based off what the computer tells them..... so what, you want to charge to fix 10-15 things that may be linked to that because you can t be an actual mechanic and diagnose the problem? You want the customer to just play process of elimination and keep paying to fix things that are not the actual problem? And if there is a situation where an easy diagnose can not be determined then wouldn t you tell the customer that you replaced a part but are not sure that fixed it as it s possible it could be several other things!!! Ed s has very poor service and even more poor customer skills. Has no respect for their customers and the fact that people need their car to go to work.

My experience wasn't that bad. I had to go to Ed's since my usual mechanic was extremely busy. They fixed my tire rod end quickly and replaced a rotor, although on the latter job they didn't bother to bring up it might have been a caliper sticking after explaining the symptoms to them or check it. 200 dollars and a few weeks later, steering wheel was still shaking and then it started grinding. Cost 150 to replace the caliper on my own. If you want speed, Ed's is good. I'll go to them in rare emergencies only but other than that I'll stick with my regular mechanic whether he's busy or not.

They are nice and honest mechanics, very reasonable...I have 3 cars that they service for 7 years I have no complaints.

fixed my wife's tire right away, plugged it up and didn't charge much, they were a suggestion from another location not too far away that was busy. Wasn't our first choice based on appearance, however they did the work without issues. I guess don't judge a book by its cover.

Great service!!! Got my car in last minute. Tires, oil change, alignment and inspection. Price was what was quoted. And car was done asap!! Had bad experience with other garage( not putting oil plug in properly). Thank you ed's for doing a great job!!! Thank you

Went here to get an oil change and inspection. Needed to get my tail light fixed in order to pass inspection. The tail light was a custom order, and they got it in fairly fast and let me know ASAP. Super great service!

If I could give it less than 1 star i would. These people told my son he needed a $300 wheel bearing when he went there for a simple alignment. Tried to take advantage of a 20 year old kid. Took it to my regular mechanic and all that needed was an alignment for $80.

A minus 3 stars for this place. We bought a car off the tall skinny guy at Eds rip off autos. He gave his word that the car was good.... LIAR. $2000. In repairs plus the heat dont work. And the guys working on the cars are no better. Don't trust.. Or better yet. STAY AWAY!!!

Great selection of not overpriced good quality clean cars. Really friendly staff is willing to help. Service department is very reasonable on price and they do the job correctly. I definitely recommend them for your car search and repair needs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my car for an oil change, less than a month late I check my car's oil to find there was almost ZERO oil in the car. We took it in to demand a refund so we could get the job done right elsewhere- not only did they dispute this (saying our car had other issues like we would go to them for the work) but nearly THREE people said they were the manager. Who is the Manager? Are they a man of mystery? Is this a Dave Chapel sketch where everyone is the Manager? After much rudeness they threw the money at us and told us to leave and not come back- they didn't need to tell us twice. NEVER GO HERE.

Went in for a state inspection. Car has gone less than 3000 miles since last inspection and is a project car that rarely gets driven. I do all of the work myself and have been under the car countless times, most recently only a week ago to change the oil. Knowing I was taking it in, yesterday I took the car on a nice long drive putting approximately 130 miles on it to be sure all of the emissions sensors we're operating properly. Everything was perfect. I take it in for inspection and all of a sudden I have a fresh tear on a c/v axle boot with all of the fresh grease dripping out directly onto the subframe with NO BLOWBACK. Had this damage been present during my extremely long drive the day prior there would have been grease blown back all under the car. Obviously, since the lift the car was on wasn't within view of the waiting room, I can't prove anything.. but I can assure you after the car goes back for reinspection after I replace the axle myself, I'll never set foot on that property again.

I worked on a mower tractor tire for a good couple of hours trying to put new tire on rim but just couldn't get that last leg on. .Went to Ed's Auto Sales and wa-la they took care of my tire and made me happy. .

Really helped me out of a tight jam on a Sunday afternoon by immediately taking me in and fixing a tire leak cause by a screw I ran over driving to an appointment. Cannot believe how fortunate I was to find Ed's open. Service was friendly and economical. Thank you!

Warning****Don't take my car to shops and this is the reason why. This place is Horrible the first time they sold me tires with lumps on the side and said it was okay not knowing Im a ASE auto tech he was lying too. Sec time went for tie rods got the car back and they broke the middle storage compartment then act like they didn't do it and never fixed it.
