I ve taken about 3-4 of my vehicles to mike for work, and everything single time he has went above & beyond for me. Working with me on parts, price, and overall making it happen. He s the only shop I trust to work on my vehicles. He will find the issue no matter how long it takes, and he will take on any job no matter what it entails. Support your local private business you won t regret it.

Mike is a great mechanic! He is very knowledgeable and well versed in many types of vehicles. He is honest and fair with his recommendations. He has serviced my Subaru Forester and it has never run better! Highly recommend!

AVM automotive is one of the best in Pittsburgh in my opinion . Mike is an excellent mechanic. Fair and priced right! He always takes the time to explain exactly what he s doing and never does anything without asking first. This is the only place I trust with my car. He always goes above and beyond every time. He will never charge you for things you don t need replaced like other shops I ve been to. He s just to put it simply. The best!

Mike has done several repairs on my PT Cruiser, starting with replacing the head gasket and leaking water pump. He found issues within the head and identified a bad coolant pipe that would have caused problems later had it not been found. He got all those straightened out and I've put 20,000 miles on it since then and it's never run better. He also found an electrical problem a few months ago that caused battery charging issues that no one else could identify. Other garages wanted to replace the computer and alternator but all it needed was a wire repaired. AVM has always been my go to for anything car related. Having fixed up plenty of my previous cars such as Audi s, Porsche s, BMW s, Etc. This is the only place I trust, and reasonably priced as well. Good work, good price, and always goes the extra mile in suggesting a future change or having something looked into earlier than expected if it s bound to be an issue. 10/10 would recommend.

first of all - i just want to say if you are even thinking about going here, do it. i can't say enough good things about this place. the gas station next door had a rusted piece sticking out from the pump and it shredded my tire. i am a single mom and this was something that could have been very detrimental but these employees went out of their way to help me. i won't go into extreme detail, but this company is a 15/10. great people, great service.Service: Tires

Had a younger guy weld in a catalytic converter and it took HOURS and the exhaust didn't line up straight afterwards causing my midpipe to bottom out over bumps. Called them to ask if they could weld a resonator in (and hopefully straighten the exhaust) and the guy straight up said "That's to much of a hassle, its not worth my time." I am typically one to promote small business, but this is not one I am going to be supporting again.Service: Exhaust

Horrible never take your car there
