Con Artist Shop! Wife took her car to get new tires and while there get an inspection. Got a call from her saying car needed front and back brakes and rotors and a new front brake caliper. Quote for that not including tires was $1560. Told her not to do it. Ordered all new parts for $400. Upgraded parts. Not OEM. So pissed off when I replaced everything to find rotors were perfect, back brakes were like new, all calipers were fine. Only front brakes needed replacement. I told her to take old parts that were perfect in to show them as I replaced anyway and they came up with ridiculous excuses while all needed to be replaced. THIS SHOP SHOULD HAVE it's state inspection license taken away from them. Liers!!! Don't go here!!!

Came to them because I went to another place that lied and treated me so poorly with no shame. I was welcomed here and treated with the utmost respect. Inspection done fast. Tires replaced fast. Fabulous prices. Will definitely return here. Am so grateful for Peter at the front desk and Pat, the mechanic who worked on my car. Even the chairs in the waiting room were comfortable and the coffee delicious. They covered everything - including some charm and comedic relief to laugh away the anger I had at the "other" place. Thank you both so much for turning a horrific situation into a great ending!

I was nervous about going here because of some of the reviews, but, they had the best price on the tires I wanted so I rolled the dice. So, they did initially install the wrong tires by mistake, but, I just brought it back the next day and they put the right ones on. A minor inconvenience, but, no big. The front end guy, Mike, was perfectly pleasant and very easy to work with. They are understaffed, so you do have to drop it off for the day, waiting isn't an option. But, they do have the best prices around, so, I definitely think it's worth going here.

First time coming to Tires Etc and definitely not my last! Guys did great work for my inspection and I got a new set of tires at a solid price. Mike was knowledgeable in all questions I had about my vehicle.

Gave my car for state inspection. They lied to me that the front break rotors are damaged and estimated $500 to replace, otherwise they would fail the inspection. It was so obvious that they were lying and trying to scam $500 from me.I didn t accept to fix the rotors. Went to another mechanic shop and they told my car had no issues and passed the inspection.Avoid them at any cost.

I fell for the old bait and switch. I have been coming here for tires when needed for my vehicles, so I decided to let them do brakes on my wife's car (honda crv). This would be the first set of replacment for her car. The crv has 4 wheel disc brakes, I called ahead and they advised they stock the pads in house when I requsted an estimate for the job and was quoted 1 price, and the end result was double that price. Tires, etc, took it to the next level. 1000 for brake pads and cutting rotors is crazy. I know inflation has driven up cost, but this was next level. I worked for a small local repair shop as a young man, so I understand you pay more for the small shop and I'm ok with it when it's fair as you're supporting a local business but this felt excessive and I felt like my trust was betrayed when I quoted the work ahead of time then got the bill at nearly double that quote! I won't get fooled again. leasson learned.

Great prices for tires. That's it. They will try to find anything they can or try to do repair work on your car that isn't needed. Be smart, and say no thank you just do the tires. I will only ever buy tires and have them mounted and balanced here in the future. Take your vehicle someplace else for state inspection or other maintenance work.

I will never be a customer of the Montgomeryville Tire Etc again. Be extremely careful if you decide to use their servicesIn January, they installed new tires on our vehicle. Last week I went back to have the vehicle inspected and checked why the vehicle is vibrating at various speeds without hitting the brakes. I asked them to rotate and balance the tires. Two hours later they said all the rotors on the car were warped and needed to be replaced for a cost of $1,200. They said, due to this issue the car would not pass inspection. They never balanced or rotated the tiresI told them this is ridiculous. Mike, the service associate was very rude and unprofessional.I took the vehicle to another dealer and they said the brakes were excellent which I agree. They also balanced the tires which solved the vibration issue. The vehicle also passed inspectionI WILL NEVER USE TIRE ETC AGAIN!!Be careful they do not try to RIP YOU OFFI hope this review helps someone

Went in for an inspection, left with a 2k estimate and a fail. Had a different mechanic check it and confirmed that most things they failed me for were an outright lie, with only one thing being legitimate. They definitely tried to take me for a ride, absolutely regret going there.

I cannot speak more highly of these guys! The front of house guys were so easy to talk to and answered any questions. They were honest and upfront with their recommendations. I came in for an inspection and had a taillight out and a few other things. The guys really took care of my car. It s hard to trust the car places because most of them nickel and dime you. Customer service was very transparent and black and white about it.From start to finish, I was pleased with this establishment. Not to mention, the mechanics kept my car clean and put plastic and a floor mat down. I ve been to places where they get grease all over. Thanks Tire Etc!

First time using their services and will not be the last. Very knowledgable of their services. Extremely helpful suggesting what needs to be done and what may need to be done at a later date. No pressure trying to sell something that isn't needed. Friendly, personable staff. Great choice of products at good prices.

Just picked up my truck. Had Michelin Defender LTX M/S installed. I m very happy; I was in/out pretty quickly. This is a first-come first-served shop so get there early. It s a very busy place which is good and bad; bad because who likes waiting. But good because that means a lot of people trust their work. I went in on a Saturday and met with manager Jim Kuney. He gave me a quote on the Michelin tires I was looking for and it was way less than anyone local has quoted. Great deal!!! They even had the exact size I wanted in stock. I came back at 8:00am on Tuesday to get installed. I worked with Service Advisor Aaron Butler and he was great! He even walked me back into the shop to show me a small issue on my truck. Very knowledgeable and polite to everyone. Make sure you check this place out!

They didn t finish the car inspection at the time they promised they would. My kid is waiting at the school because I cannot pick her up now. They re not owning up to their mistake and started yelling at me. Deserves less than one star

I was shopping around for tires. Called Tires Etc and they are by far the cheapest in the area when it comes to tires. The staff was very friendly, explained and gave their advice on everything I had questions about, and were very attentive and welcoming. Their road hazard program is also very affordable and well worth the money based on what you get. The only slight negative is that they had said they would clean/spray my battery terminals to get rid of corrosion and they ended up not doing it. I wasn t charged for it so it s no harm no foul.

They hooked me up right away with my tires in stock AND were the lowest prices! The other shops in the area couldn't take me for two days. Very kind and friendly.

Went for 4 new tires for my pick up, as their prices were really good. When finished I was told that all 4 of my wheels were bent and would cost $200 each to fix. Took to a different shop and was told that my wheels were fine, that the tires were improperly balanced resulting in heavy vibration. I had purchased a tire warranty for $90, which was a waist of money as I will never go back there. Cost me an additional $90 to have their shoddy work redone.DO NOT GO THERE

STATE INSPECTION SCAM in this shop BRIAN WOOD is a liar - if there are no issues they will find something to force sell. I have a newer car with 29.2k miles, after inspection they suggested I get the 30k miles service that's coolant and break flush for 240 plus tax from them, to which i said I prefer to do it from dealership when it's crosses 30k..they said that's okay and was fair. then they said wiper blades are getting old (which actually work just fine) and they cannot pass the inspection unless I buy from the shop, they said it's going to be extra 49.98 for the pair and I must pay ..else they will fail the inspection ..so I had to agree, In short they will find something and force sell to clear the inspection. The Wiper blades they replaced sells for $5.50 on Amazon it's the cheapest generic trico metal wiper, which sold that as premium beam wiper ..it streaks and doesn't make full contact ..my old pair was better! The guy who forced this sale is BRIAN WOOD...the inspection board outside shop says $39.99.. ultimately i paid $102.21, hate I was made to pay extra 50 for cheap $5.5 vipers to get them to pass the inspection. Later I checked with some local friends and they said the shop is notorious for doing such scams. One of them was forced to buy new axle on a newer Honda Accord.Make sure you discuss all pricing upfront before getting any service if you must, I'll never set foot again. I told them I'll be leaving a review -BRIAN WOOD or ANYONE from Tires etc please reply.

I don't (currently) live locally and I wanted to move away from the dealership. I found this shop by a simple Google search, so I didn't know what I was getting myself into.I took my car in for an inspection and I had a feeling that I'd need additional work done but wasn't hoping that it wouldn't be too bad. The entire experience was pleasant. And even though I was hoping that I didn't need to spend any money, I thought that my service was well priced. When I went in, I was told that I could come back because it would be a few hours for the inspection. I was out of there in two hours with the inspection and repairs. I will 100% be back here. This was truly a positive experience!

Great service, except they should allow appointments for tire rotations. Took a couple months to get it done because my schedule made it difficult to make it in at opening on days when they weren't already full. End of a month, weekends, days before July 4th, etc were all too busy. Will make this a 5-star if they allow scheduling them in advance, at least making exceptions for unusual circumstances like mine.

It's great for $39.99 inspection and emissions! Friendly staff and they gave me $20 off! Not cool when your bill comes to $530!!Wheel alignment $89-whoa! Serpentine belt replacement $80-whoa! That's really high for a simple belt removal and replace! I even had a belt with and Could not imagine what they charge for a belt! Not great pricing for Maintenance because every charge is about $99.00 !! Very exspensive it seems! Not only that but I waited around for 4 hours! Too long of a wait!

Not really that happy. Had a screw in a tire. I drove to them since it happened on highway and the tires air was almost out. They were nice and patched it up in 45 mins when I randomly showed up. However, the car kept shaking like crazy at higher speeds so clearly balancing wasn t done which should be done after a patch, especially when you pay $37 for it. I took it back a few days later and told them about the shaking and needing balancing. Balancing only takes 10 mins, however they said they didn t have time and they could have me come back a different day. They scheduled me for a Wednesday at 2pm. I got there on the day and time and they said they had no record of my appointment and that I had to leave the car and they would eventually get to it but not sure when. I can t just leave my car so I went somewhere and else and they balanced it and car drives fine now. Long story short they forgot to balance it and should ve done it when I showed up since it only takes 10 mins and it was their mistake, but they had me come back after giving me an appointment and still couldn t do it.

Will took great care of my Jeep, and he made sure it was safe and all the issues were solved before letting it leave the shop. My Jeep needed brakes at all 4 corners, a 4WD service, and an alignment. It's at 204,500 miles, and regularly used on and off road. I am confident these guys will help me keep my Jeep going for a long time. Thank you!

The first time I went here I liked it because the cost of good tires were relatively affordable. I came back about a year later to replace a different set of tires, and I had to wait at least three hours to get two tires installed. Keep in mind, I scheduled an appointment with them for 8:30 in the morning online at least a week in advance, and the guy said "yeah it's gonna be a while". Then what's the purpose of a reservation online?? They also tried to tell me other things that should be done too, even though I said several times that I would just like my tires installed and rotated. It's a business strategy to nickel and dime you, but I find that annoying. I hate to say that I will not be returning here anymore even for simple requests like new tires. Incredibly irritating.

Do not go here. They did have the cheapest price on the tires I wanted, but it's not worth it. They tried to pressure us into unnecessary work, which we declined. I was told the lug nuts were swollen and needed to be replaced. The same lug nuts I have taken off at least twice a year for the last 8 years. The ones my mechanic removed a month ago for inspection. Of course Tires Etc broke 4 off during my tire install. One breaking off a stud, a stud which wasn't seized at all. I removed the broken stud out of the lug nut by hand with a pair of needle nose pliers. They hit you up for unnecessary work and when you decline stuff magically breaks. BEWARE.!!!!!
