This repair shop is the best. Repairing vehicles are not cheap, but every time I call Rich, he is always helpful and tries to service my vehicle immediately. I also don't have to continuously bring my vehicle back to his shop for the same problem, because I know he will completely fix the issue.

Kia wanted 900.00 for brake inspection and headlight. Great Valley charged me 489.00. plus took me home and pick me up.

Took one of our companies fleet vehicles here for diagnostic and repair after a bad experience at a Ford dealer in Monroeville .Rich and his team truly went above and beyond for us, didn t exceed the price of the initial quote but spent a significant amount of additional time and resource to help solve the problem. Dialogue was complete, honest and transparent the entire time. Clean shop, too, and how a workspace is maintained tells a lot about the individual as well as the organisation, at least in MY eyes.Great Valley has earned our trust and our business going forward. Twice, I brought my car to Great Valley with what I thought would be costly repairs, and both times they diagnosed the issue and recommended different and much less expensive work. They could have easily done the needless and expensive repairs I requested, but chose to save me money instead. I trust these guys to do great work and give superb advice.

I always thought I'd see a unicorn before I met an honest mechanic. The transmission died so I left it at the shop. The next day GVAR called me before they touched the car. They asked me to see if the transmission was still under warranty. It was still warranted. Saved me a huge amount of cash. (they could have just started repairing it). My wife, Jeanne and I moved here from DuBois, Pa about 3 years ago and that was a big worry where was I going to have our vehicles taken care of. In DuBois we had Mark Segerberg that own his Dad's business ( Jim's Atlantic) took care of our vehicles., I passed GVAR and made a mental note to stop and check it out. Best decision I made. I was initially recommended to go to Great Valley Auto Repair when my van was shifting hard, thinking I would have to have the transmission repaired, and a lot of people would have told me I needed just that (since I didn't know any better) but not Rich and his team. They solved my problem at a low cost and explained to me what was going on, earning my respect and business. I now have my daughter, mother and brother going to them, all of which will never go anywhere else. Even my 17 year old daughter took her car there to get inspected and they showed her and explained to her what the problems were. He educated her on why it needed the work it needed. It is so refreshing to give my business to an honest, hard-working staff who are incredibly friendly and have the safety of my family as a priority. Got the job done the price to me was a little high for the issue. But the work was done good ! I'd say check them out but always Weigh your options. Got me back on the road no real hassle was simple and clear. They Do Good Work for reasonable rates

Very professional and dependable. Great communication, we were informed every step. We had transmission work as well as State Inspection and Emissions done by Great Valley auto. Very fair pricing. Hopefully we will only be back yearly for inspections. We highly recommend.

My 2013 Nissan Rogue was making noise, so I brought it here to be diagnosed. The first mechanic I took the vehicle told me "it isn't a belt. we think it may be the transmission", more or less told me they didn't want to deal with it / take time to properly diagnose the issue.So I took the vehicle to Great Valley Auto Repair, and after diagnosing it, they replaced the alternator. They even told me if the new alternator didn't fix the problem they would not charge me for that work.They were extremely informative throughout the process and took time to properly diagnose the issue to make sure it got fixed right. I will be taking all of my family's other vehicles here from now on. Thanks!Service: Transmission

I don't love any place that has to repair my vehicle. But axles are a specialty that requires experience. I believe I was treated fairly & honestly.

I recently took my 2011 Nissan Frontier (and if you know me, you know I love my truck) to Greater Valley Auto Repair and Rich Guyan for an oil leak. I had gotten an estimate at a chain auto repair place and was quoted $2300. I was told I needed the oil filter housing replaced. Rich looked it over and said that less experienced mechanics may go by the book because they do not know all the tricks a more experienced mechanic may know. After looking over the truck, he said all that was needed was the O ring that is between the housing and engine. It has now been over 2 months and not a drop of oil has appeared on my garage floor.Along with the o-ring repair, there was a leak in the power steering hose which was replaced. Rich also secured my heat shields which produced an annoying rattle.After all the repairs, along with pick up and deliver (since it was the beginning of the virus scare), my total came to a little over $325!!! Needless to say, I highly recommend Greater Valley Auto Repair if you are looking for an honest, experienced mechanic. Please feel free to message me if you need additional information.

Rich moved his schedule to help us when our catalytic system blew and we were stranded, everyone else in town said 2 weeks. Price reasonable even though it was expensive repair. I'd take my vehicle here again.

This shop was super honest and upfront they were also really reasonable with the rates and stayed in touch , I had a really bad experience with a Toyota Dealership , but these guys fixed my Problem completely took really good care of my 99 Toyota Land Cruiser I m Satisfied 100% . Under new ownership and mechanics don t seem very knowledgeable. My vehicle was misdiagnosed and was highly up charged after given an original quote without being notified. Vehicle still wasn t right after getting it back. When your work horse needs repair, its not an easy decision who should make that repair when it's cost $Ks. It's not like you can exchange the repair if you don't like it. I needed more. Nothing neg, just not totally sold. Did not have work done but came highly recommend.

In full disclosure, I didn't not have them do any work on my car- I visited for a different reason. But I know these guys and both Jim and Denny are nit-picky, clean, and very particular. I know they take pride in what they do and do their best w/ every job- which is a great job.

Great Valley Auto is a great, honest place to take your cars/trucks for maintenance and repairs! I take all my vehicles and my son's cars to GVA. Highly recommended!

I am from out of state and needed help. I stopped here and even though he couldn't help me, the technician test drove my car, read the engine codes and took the time to go over things with me before reccomending me to another technician-without charging me! I am thankful for his service.
