The guys at this shop are great! They are always friendly and willing to help. I'm a girl and we girls know how much we hate walking in for service at an auto shop bu ourselves but they are so nice and always explain everything to me. Their prices are also fair.

I had service done on my car about a week ago and I was afraid it needed a lot of work. I was actually thinking about buying a new car as my car is 10+ years old. The guys were so nice and they reassured me that I wouldnt need to put a lot into my car right now and it was worth holding on to it and making minor fixes as needed. I'm thankful for the honesty and not a snow job to get a lot of money out of me.

Excellent service at Pep Boys. I needed a headlight bulb replaced and I was only waiting 20 minutes. The technician was friendly and the price was reasonable. I will definitely go back.

Generally had good experiences here, however the latest time I went in for service, my tires were not rotated. I had requested a tire rotation, it was on my receipt, and yet the service was not performed. If you need a rotation, make sure you leave a mark on a tire and check that it moves after the service is performed.

Not sure if it was a mistake or if it intentionally happened but these guys could have cost me the engine on my car (and they meticulously wrote in the invoice customer brought own oil and claims it s to spec). I usually change my own oil so stuff like this doesn t happen, but at 10,000 mile intervals I bring it to a shop to keep up with carfax history. My car takes 5W-50 (right on the oil cap) but they were unfamiliar with my car. I brought my own oil/filter and was charged for labor. I currently have my car at a performance shop in Maryland having work done and get a call that both my oil filter and lug nut to the oil pan were loose to the point small amounts of oil were dropping while it was on the lift. Naturally these places have bad reputations for using unexperienced techs, but my GF lives 3 minutes walking distance and thought I d give it a shot. Well they won t be seeing me, my GF s car, or the Escape ST or 4Runner they regularly bring for service (at ridiculous rates). If you want your engine to blow, take your car here. They do not know what they re doing.

I brought my vehicle here for inspection and my car passed however I was told I would need brake pads and rotors all around in the next couple of months. I was quoted $1200.00 to replace them. I questioned if I even needed them but I definitely wasn t paying them this amount. I went to an auto parts store to purchase the parts they noted and brought my vehicle to another mechanic for replacement. The parts cost $327 and labor was quoted a $100.00. Well this mechanic started removing the first tire to start replacement and said the work was not even needed, he then removed the rest of the tires and they were the same too. The pads were at 50% and rotors looked new. I don t drive enough so I probably wouldn t have even needed to replace them in an another year either. Trooper Pep Boys was scamming me out of $1200 for a job I didn t even need. Be aware and DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my car for an alternator. I was asked how I knew it was the alternator. I replied that AUTOZONE let me know...then encouraged me to order part...luckily they couldn't get the part as promised and I was able to cancel ..your store showed great integrity in that your team honestly told me that I didn't need an alternator. AutoZone super questionable practices. Thanks for being honest!!

Stay away from this PEP Boys in Trooper. They failed my inspection by saying my car seat flies up and down when driving. It does no such thing. It was secure and locked in place. They passed my brakes and tires which when I went to another mechanic, he said my seat was fine but I needed brakes, rotors and a tire. They are horrible there and I will never go back. My car is inspected and safe with the same seat. By the way, they said they weren't going to try and fix it ether. I I have been going there for a while. It really went down hill. I won't be going there any more.

I've never had an issue there and when busy the guys don't rush through a car. I've bought my tires there too and they gave the best ones well one of the best brands for a fair price. Friendly guys that work there.

My visit to Bad Boys completely met my expectations. I was scheduled for 8:00 am and by 9:00 am my order was completed, I received the car with new wheels and went home. Very fast and high quality!

I went not too long ago for an oil change. It was kind of costly because I wanted something to keep the car going since it's old, but whatever. Had to come back not long after that because the engine was constantly reading cold and I could tell it was using more gas than usual. Got fed up when they told me it needed a new thermometer AND a new instrument cluster. Took it to a previous mechanic that has been working on it for years, which was 40 minutes away. (I had moved) All he had to do was give it a proper oil change and the car was completely fine. Pepboys couldn't even do an oil change right. It's a Saturn and the guy at Pepboys said he'd have to call a Chevy part dealer to see if they had an instrument cluster. Saturn's parent company is GM. Even I know that.

Overall good experience. I didn't feel as though I was being overcharged for anything and they did exactly what was needed. I finally found a place to take my vehicle and feel confident that I am given real assessments. I'm always concerned when I take my vehicle to places like this and because I'm a women, very often I feel as though these places try to take advantage. However, I did not feel this way at all and I will continue to take my vehicle to this location.

I came to Pep Boys after work today because I had a nail in my tire. The man at the desk that it might take an hour and a half but it took less than 30 minutes. The mechanic got the nail out and charged me nothing because it hadn't punctured the tire. Great job, Pep Boys! I would recommend this store.

They almost seizer my engin ,i went in for an oil change and right after that the oil light popped up on the dash ,when i got back they said everything was fibe after checking it by another mechanic he said there isn't enough oil in the engin

I will never coming back for sure. My 2019 car didn t need anything to pass the inspection because I just did oil change and 5 points inspection from Toyota dealer but guy told me I need to buy wiper blade because my existing one is not good enough to pass inspection then I had no choice and I had to buy after market wiper blade which is almost 33$ that s really overpriced. Another thing they did was ripped off my personal belongings which was hanging over rearview mirror. Really unprofessional and not welcoming. I am giving 2 star because at least these people didn t fail me for silly reason.

Awesome and friendly staff. Mike is awesome. I was looking around for winter tires, he helped me get ones at a lower price which saved me money. Also my transmission overfilled. He made sure the levels was corrected at no additional cost to me. I had my inspection as well done there. I should have asked for the other gentleman who scheduled me in the same day!. If I have any issues, the first place I will be going is back there. Genuine people who want to help you is the feeling that I received. Awesome service! Highly recommend!

Great work. Given different options to match my budget, but also answered all questions honestly on whether paying a bit extra would benefit in the long run and why. In my particular case I was assured the cheapest option would work just as great as the others.I always wait inside in their waiting area. Great wifi. Cozy seating. And the staff is very polite even when they re down a person or two (which I know was the case the day of my appointment). Will definitely be going back!

Every single time I go here I m so impressed with them. They NEVER upsell me like other places have in the past. (One right up the street who tried to charge me when they said my horn didn t work when i used it 3 minutes before dropping off my car) They are honest and always treat me with respect .even 10 minutes before closing time. Thanks Steve and Eric and team for being honest mechanics!!!

I feel like Pep Boys service has gone downhill over the last few years. The waiting area was really hot and uncomfortable, like the AC wasn't working. I had an appointment for an oil change and it still took 2 hours.

I have to give this Pep Boys a 5 star because of this gentleman named Eugene on day shift. Well my story started by me telling him a needed a wheel alignment. He is asking me all these questions that I really didn t want to answer because I know what I wanted. After the questions and told me a wheel alignment wouldn t help I need tire balancing because of the shaking of the truck while driving 70mph. Well folks this man was correct my shaking stopped while driving but he said I still need work on F150 of course but he and they are very educated on what they do.

Stephen was awesome. Impressed by how quickly he was able to fix a flat and rotate tires. For something where you guys don t make much money, this level of service is amazing. I will be sure to come back when it is much more serious

I low key love this store. These guys do great work and they get you out quickly. Stephen helped me last, interacting with him is what made me want to write a review I normally never do but his customer service was over the top. I felt complied to do so. Long story short great service!

Nice young man at the front desk told me they were very busy that day and were short handed but he would take care of me as soon as possible. Well I got there at about 10:45am and I was done before 12noon. They did all that I asked and left my car neat and clean. I also liked the way they treated the Senior gentleman in front of me (80's) with true respect and patience. Nice experience.
