For a simple inspection, my car sat out front for over an hour. When I asked for my keys back, they said the technician probably had my keys and was out on a test drive for another vehicle. They said they could get the inspection done in 15 minutes when he returned. I was already late, so I waited. 25 minutes later the car was done, but it took 10 more minutes to pay my bill and leave. Terrible experience!

I came in for an oil change after having some issues with my car and old car repair place. Guy and Brian absolutely took great care of my car and went above and beyond! Noticed and fixed a few small issues with my car for no extra fee. I was so pleased with the customer service, I came back for tires. Guy hooked me up with great tires and service. Definitely making this my new car care place!

Shoutout to Forrest, he was AMAZING! I came in with a tire EXTREMELY FLAT, and he got it fixed up within 5 minutes. He gave me great advice with an amazing attitude A godsend truly!! and I noticed him being extremely kind to the other workers too- 10/10!

STAY AWAY FROM PEP BOYS!I have been a Pep Boys customer for the past 14 years. Less than 3 weeks ago, I took my 2011 Nissan Rogue to the store located at 69 W Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA because of a noise that I heard when I go over a bump. They said that I needed new brakes and tire rotation less than 3 months after I did the brakes and purchased 4 new tires from another Pep Boys store located at 510 West Chester Pike, Havertown, PA 19083.After I paid $800.00 or more, I was told that an axle needed to be replaced, but it was not urgent. A week later, thinking that could be the cause of the noise, which was not taken care of, I scheduled an appointment to replace the axle. Unfortunately, the night before my appointment day, the check engine light was on, and the car was barely able to move. I brought it to them anyway and explained the new problem.After all diagnostics, they said that it was going to cost about $2,800.00 to repair the car. Not knowing too much about cars, I asked the assistant manager if it is worth it to spend that much money on a 2011 car. He said that the car was in good shape and thought it was worth it. I left the car that night to be repaired the next day.At 6:45 PM, I went back to the store to pay and get the car. After I started it, the check engine light was still on. I went back inside to find out why. Guy, the assistant manager, which was nice to me, said that he was not aware of the check engine light being on. Seriously? After spending almost $3,000.00 on an old car, it was given back to me with the check engine light on while specifically telling them that it was on, and the car was barely able to move. I was angry.Guy made some kind of arrangements with me by taking another $654.00 from me to fix the problem they should ve fixed. I took the car, let my wife drive it for over a week, then found out that noise was still there when I drove it. I called the store and spoke to the manager who told me to bring it back. Knowing that they would ask me to spend another couple of hundreds of dollars, I didn t. Instead, I chose to write a review to warn other customers like me to go to other places to get their cars repaired.I spent $4,254.00 on a 2011 Nissan Rogue in less than 3 weeks just because the people in that store located at 69 W Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA are incompetent. If they diagnosed the car, found out what the problems were, and told me the total cost, I could have chosen either to get the job done or purchase another car. Unfortunately, that chance was not given to me.STAY AWAY FROM PEP BOYS!

After calling AAA to jump our car battery and being told that we needed a new battery, I called Pep Boys. Spoke to Kirsten who confirmed that they had a battery in stock. We arrived 20 minutes later, they very quickly installed the new battery! We appreciated the quick and friendly service!!

Came in for an inspection and they were able to take me right away. Busy time of year and I was still only there for an hour. Comfortable lounge with coffee and such available. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Will come back for other car maintenance

Guy and the mechanics gave excellent service - I had a scheduled appt for a 5K oil change but got a couple of other needed services. I was given a free lyft ride to my condo in Fort Washington where they called a few hours late to provide the same free service ride back to get my car. I got the Pep Boys credit card so I have 6 mos to pay my bill while accumulating zero interest!;) All were friendly, informative and accommodating.

Giving them 0 out of 5 stars. I did my oil change here and they didn t fully tied up the bottom cover (see pics). The next day, I heard something weird while driving on the road and checked that the bottom cover was half opened. So I went back to Pep Boys to screw this so it will not be opened again. They tied up using the cable ties and about a week later, same thing happened again.Now the front cover is partially broken and they are telling me to take out the cover or it will get opened again. I asked them to using the bolts and nuts to make it safely covered and they are telling me to go to the Honda service center. If they caused the problem, they have to find out the ways to solve the problem but all they did is to take the easy way by telling me to take out my body part so I don t bother them anymore.I don t understand why I have to pay them to take out my body part which was fine before I take my car to them.Everyone, be aware. I am a young lady and they assume that I do not know anything about the auto body parts including different types of screws, bolts and nuts. If you leave everything on them, one day your body parts will fell out.

My husband had emergency tire service Monday morning 02/05/24. He of course had no appt, but Mgr Tanner fit him into the schedule right away. Vito performed good service on our 2015 Kia Optima at that time. Asst Mgr Guy helped him with a tire pressure expeditiously. My husband called today (Thurs 02/08/24) with a question about our paperwork. He received a friendly response and an answer to the inquiry. Thank you All for giving us a warm & fuzzy feeling that our vehicle is safe to drive now! Keep up the good work. The 'Boys' should be proud!

This review is for Forrest- I got pulled over yesterday for a burnt out tail lightbulb and received a warning. I stopped at this pepboys on a whim, and Forrest provided excellent service. He helped find the correct bulb and also helped replace the bulb. Thank you, Forrest!

Took my car in for a routine oil change and got car back with a cracked oil pan and smashed gasket on my plug costing me over $1000 not including the time im gonna be mossong from work. Now I know mistakes happen but its all about how they handle it from here because I m out 1 full day of work and $1300 for repairs

I had a nightmare trying to get Pepboys, Midas, tire plus, AAA, CJ Tires I mean called over 20 places trying to get someone to program Schraders TPMS sensors for my Tahoe .. called this Pepboys out of anger and boom The Manager Forrest did what Good Manager Do; made a customer happy. I drove down and with no hesitation he pulled out my owners manual and Answered my prayers and solved my problem. Thanks for programming my TPMS sensor Forrest definitely will never forget this.

I called multiple tire service shops to get a tire repaired on a Monday and was told the earliest I could get it back was Thursday or Friday. The staff at Pep Boys made every effort to provide service on the same day, especially when they saw the puncture was in the tread, and not on a side wall. The manager on site, Guy, was prompt, professional, and saved me from having to get a rental for a simple repair. I had a great experience, and would recommend their services.

Generally a very good experience here when getting my inspection done. They can be slow or unable to come to the phone when busy, but they were able to get me in and out in an hour while I waited this time.

Guy did a great job with my tire could be repaired. He took me half an hour early. I was out within the hour and family and affordable tire with decent treadwear. I think you should definitely consider him for a more higher level position in your management. he seems I have a good business sense as well.

Excellent, quick and reasonably priced service. Very easy to schedule a visit and quick service. From front desk to the mechanic, they were very professional and took good care of my car. Good place for a state inspections. If you're trying to decide between this place and Midas across the street, please pick this one.
