Peter is the nicest person I ve ever met. Gave a fair price and broke down all the work he had to do to get our car running again. Not many honest mechanics anymore. This is one of the few honest ones. Highly recommend

The most legitimate auto shop in the area, will be back! Staff was friendly, kind, and able to diagnose issues that other area shops were unable to. I would recommend to anyone, especially women. I was scammed by Firestone less than one month ago, this place will be our family s go-to going forward. Even helped me back into the street when I was leaving. Thank you so much!

Peter has been THE BEST to work with. Had one of our fleet vehicles in to another shop, was quoted for transmission replacement over $8k and 2 months. Took to H&A Auto after seeing the positive reviews, and Peter had our truck back up and running in under a week. Transmission did not need to be replaced. Take personal and business vehicles to him now, great communication, thorough work, and very knowledgable. Highly recommend!

I recently moved to the area and H&A was the closest mechanic near me. I got an inspection and it was truly a good experience! I was treated with respect throughout and I will definitely be going back for any car needs.

I just moved to the area and needed an auto shop I could trust and use as my go-to mechanic moving forward. I saw how great the reviews were for H&A and scheduled an appointment for an inspection. Peter was extremely friendly when scheduling my appointment and got me in within 2 days. He gave me some recommendations based on the inspection but wasn t pushy at all. I ended up getting new tires and shocks along with my inspection and was quite shocked at how reasonably priced my total was.Fast forward to this afternoon about a week after my inspection and my car battery died (battery is not typically checked during inspection). I wasn t sure who to call as I am still a bit unfamiliar with my new neighborhood. I gave Peter a call to see if he could get me in tomorrow for a new battery if I got a tow truck. Bob (the other mechanic) offered to drive to my house about 20 minutes away to replace my battery. I have never encountered such amazing service and generosity from a person and/or company before. Thank you Peter for your help H&A is officially our new go-to.Service: Auto maintenance

I unexpectedly had an oil leak and Im scheduled to take a vacation the next day with my only car. My neighbor said go to H & A and I did. Peter, owner, squeezed me into his tight schedule and he took me home. Two hours later, Peter called said the car is fix and no charge! I almost fell off the chair when I heard it. He said, enjoy your vacation! Such a kind gentleman! So honest, real and trustworthy. Where do you find this kind of customer service these days. I'll definitely will be back, with no doubts.

I had a distributor go bad in my vehicle back in October and had H&A fix it and recently noticed that my truck had been leaking a substantial amount of oil in a very short period of time! Just looking at around I found that it was the seal that seals the distributor shaft to the engine block. I called up H&A, talked to Peter, and he was more than happy to have me bring my truck in as soon as possible especially as it is my daily driver and that he would fix it no questions asked if it was from when they installed the distributor. I was gone for a week after the phone call for Christmas break but as soon as I got back I called and scheduled a time to drop off the truck. I dropped it off around 10am and later got a phone call around 5pm that the truck was already fixed and ready to get picked up! Would recommend H&A to anyone in the area as I have had a great experience with them!

I was recommended to H&A after most mechanics in the area couldn't figure out the issue and all said that I had to take the car to the dealer.When I called to make an appt, Peter fit me in the next day. Once I was there, he was nice, knowledgeable, friendly and did an amazing job on my car. On top i was in and out super quick. 5 stars

I moved 3 years ago and needed a local auto shop I could trust. Thankfully my neighbor had lived here for 15 years and recommend H&A. For most regular maintenance, I'll do it myself, but for those more difficult jobs or when I don't have the time, these guys have been great. Always good work at a fair price. For annual inspections, they're always clear about what work is necessary versus what's recommended. I was never pressured to do extras and they've been willing to let me do some work at home and bring it back when I needed to save some $ on labor.All around a great shop and I highly recommend them!

Best shop in the area. The service Peter and his team offer is courteous and transparent. After unpleasant experiences at a shop in nearby proximity switched to this place and have never looked back. I brought my car in for diagnosis of a wheel noise, expecting a rear wheel bearing job. H&A Auto went deeper and did a much more thorough inspection, and notified me of some pretty serious issues that I had not been made aware of at previous repair shops, and even a dealership. My car is much older, and I knew there were some age-related issues, but Peter informed me of the true nature of the problems without any pressure to do expensive repairs. The quality of work done at H&A auto very well could have saved me from an accident or worse, and I would recommend them to anyone based on their integrity alone.

I had a great experience at H&A. I've been there twice over a 3 year span for the state inspection because I have a tendency to wait until the last minute to get any work done on my car and unfortunately for me, Peter and his team seem to be very in demand as it's always packed there. That's probably due to the quick service, kindness, and honesty of Peter which is pretty rare to find it seems.Also they have a nice waiting room with A/C, comfy couches, and great wifi so I was able to get some work done while I waited.

Peter and company have always been great to work with. Down to earth, skilled, and reasonably priced, they are my go to for any car updates. I probably shouldn t say this, but since I live so close, they sometimes even drop my finished car off at my house and walk back to their shop. In the past wherever I have lived I did not have a preferred Auto Shop, Now I do!Called in for same day Inspection on multiple vehicles (My first PA Inspections). Peter was able to get me in during the day. His direct communication was great, very friendly and timing was all as committed too (He was more on time than me :) )He also took the time to remove the old plates and install the new ones for me. Some other small things taken care of just because he could. He is full of energy and has a great attitude. Shop was quite busy but I still felt very well taken care of focused on. I will most certainly be back.I also got a quote for brake replacement at the time, price was very fair. I have already recommended the shop to several friends. I will be going back for my needed future repairs in the next months.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Picked up my daughter after school and my car wouldn't start (again).I had no one else to call except my AWESOME mechanic, Peter, luckily a half mile away. He came RIGHT over to jump my car (well, back to shop to get a tool, then back to pry open my broken hood latch). I asked to bring it over to the garage right away - yes.He said, "It's all about service."And kindness I have used and trusted them for so many years, built a great professional relationship, that I took the risk to ask for help and wasn't disappointed!

Professional, honest, punctual, and friendly atmosphere. Peter was the one who waited on me, he was clear and honest concerning issues with my vehicle. Prior to my vehicle receiving service from Peter, I took it to Carvision and was informed they couldn't identify the issues. For it being my first time here they identified the issue right away. Peter and the team at H&A Auto are great. As a client for over 15 years what has remained unchanged is the integrity of the business, trust worthy diagnostics, and quality work they guarantee. Over the years I have used a dealership shop when I bought a new car or when I moved out of the area...I always left the other places feeling like they were trying to sell me additional service/ work that was not required. The lack of flexibility of hours and lack of rapport and trust in the other shops has always lead me back to H&A Auto. Peter always has a funny quip, explains the work, has a comfortable waiting area, and serves the community. The majority of the mechanics are long time employees and all of them focused on work, knowledgeable, and personable.

Brought my car in for an inspection. Upon learning that a ball joint was loose (due to a vehicle accident we thought had been taken care of) they were extremely flexible/helpful with what our options were to get this taken care of. Rather than simply telling us we needed a new one, they were inquisitive and allowed us the opportunity to get in touch with the insurance company to remedy the issue. We also needed new tires. They quoted us a much better quote than the dealer did when we got an oil change the month prior. Not only did they provide us with one quote but multiples for different brands, and one that just included labor if we sourced tires ourselves. We brought the car back in today to have it re-inspected after having the insurance company fix the ball joint issue. They didn't go looking for more things to try and squeeze every last dime the way some shops do. They were professional, friendly, flexible, and honest. From start to finish it was a great experience, and they come highly recommended.It's important to note I don't often write reviews, so take that as the cherry on top!!!!FIVE STARS!!!

I took my car to H&A for the first time because it was running with some hesitation. Peter test drove my car, diagnosed the issue, did the repairs and the car is running perfectly now. Peter really knows cars. He's professional and his prices are right. H&A is the place to go. The owner, Peter, made time to fit me in last minute. I d had a really bad experience with another local shop (K&K Auto, if you re wondering) but I still needed my car fixed right away. Peter fit me in same-day and got me up and running. He asked me a few short questions and was able to diagnose the issue *to the tee*. That s how good he is. Definitely recommend H&A Auto.

I can't say enough good things about H&A. I had my transmission replaced at a very reasonable price in comparison to many others in the area and they did a phenomenal job. Every time I take my car in they go the extra mile. I typically do not write reviews but felt this needed to be done for exceptional service. I called on short notice to bring my vehicle in for an inspection. Peter was able to get me in and have everything completed within a couple of hours. He gave me a more than generous discount which he did not need to do. Customer service was top notch and although it was my first time bringing my car here, it will certainly not be my last!

I wasn't sure where to take my car for a repair that I needed done asap... after reading ALL positive reviews I called H&A. Peter was able to accommodate me on short notice and got the repair finished in less time than anticipated! Extremely satisfied with my decision especially after calling another garage that tried to tell me it was going to be a much bigger job than necessary. Peter is friendly and honest and I was very comfortable waiting in the shop for my car to be ready. Highly recommend H&A!

I absolutely love this establishment. Colleen who does all the receptionist work is one of the sweetest people I ever met. They are very honest and would never steer you wrong about your car. They have me driving safe and keep my car in shape and up to date. I refuse to go to any other repair shop for my essentials even though I live about 45 minutes away. 10/10, I would recommend to everyone! You just cannot beat their hospitality and service matched with affordable prices.

I don't know how the average is 4.8 because there are only 5-star reviews...and there is a reason for that...because it's TRUE. An auto repair shop with NOTHING but 5-star reviews. Think about that. I have been going to H&A for almost 15 years and have recommended them to numerous friends and family - including my ex-wife! Peter is an amazing businessman: knowledgeable, honest, flexible, fairly priced and puts your interests first. He is also an amazing person who is great to talk to and makes the experience all the better. This is the place you've been looking for. So stop looking and just call him and bring your car in. You'll never go anywhere else. You could live an hour away and not find anyone better. If you do, it'll be worth the trip.

After the snow storm, my front passenger side wiper stopped working. With the snow season, i did not want to be without a wiper so I started to search for mechanic close to my house. Luckily I found H&A Auto repair and called them up. Peter picked up the phone, I was ready for the worst, so i straight away asked him, how much will it cost me to replace wiper motor. He asked about the issue and then told me that it could be anything, motor, transmission linkage or something else. I told him I will visit him next day, before putting down the phone, he told me that I should check wiper to see if it is just loose. I did and exactly that was the issue, I just tightened the wiper arm nut and it started working perfectly. I wrote this long review because it is important to have a good and honest mechanic, especially once you car starts to get old. It would have been easy for anyone to make some quick bucks, since I was already expecting the worst, but Peter did not do it. Thank You Peter!!

I have been a customer of H&A Auto Repair for several years. We have 5 cars and all of them are serviced here. Peter is a very honest and trustworthy person with a great personality who truly cares about customer service and satisfaction. He will do everything in his power to keep you satisfied. Most of his business is built on repeat customers because it is very hard to find a repair shop that makes you feel like you are getting top notch service at a very reasonable price. I trust H&A with all of my cars and we will be a customer and friend for life. Thank you Peter and your staff for all of your hard work. You are a true professional!
