They did an excellent job on my vehicle. I had a comprehensive claim. Jim was very good about working with my insurance company. He even handled my rental extension. And kept me updated the whole time they had my car. Whoever did the work did a wonderful job. They replaced the bumper, headlight, front passenger side quarter panel, and some other miscellaneous stuff. They painted it and did a great job blending it in. I didn't notice any problems with the paint job at all it was perfect. The car came out looking like it was never damaged. The price of the job was fair, consistent with inflation. I would highly recommend using their services. It did take a while for them to get my car into the shop, but that's only because they were booked solid. Jim worked with me to help me accrue less time in a rental. Because my policy only covers up to a certain amount as with most policies. 5 stars for Nick's Auto Body. Thanks, guys. I'm very happy with the work you did.

Before and after of my car being done. They did great matched paint perfectly as I was nervous of that but they did all the work no lose bolts no missing bolts everything was done correctly lights all work no issue other then my remote start isn t working but no a big issue to fix

Our college son was the victim of two accidents within a couple days of each other and it got confusing with two different insurances. Then the shops nearest him were booked for a couple months. He drove further to Nicks because they could get him in sooner. The car looks fantastic. They got to it quickly, in a timely manner and with great care and quality. Even went onto the hood and buffed out some scratches that were not a result of the accidents. For anyone needing body work , we highly recommend Nicks and would not hesitate to use them again if need (but hopefully not).

Nicks Auto Body does the BEST bodywork !! The car looks amazing they never disappoint! Nick's keeps you updated from start to finish so you never have to wonder how far along they are with the repairs that is a HUGE plus!! My car looks like its brand new!! Highly recommend ...A Very Satisfied Customer!!

Worked with NAB thru 1/15/24-2/07/24.Nothing bad to say at all. Every other shop in the area was booked out for literal months, NAB told me they could have it in the shop within a week. Initially was wary of this, but not anymore.They did the job well, did it right, and did it at minimal cost to both myself and my insurance. Was done in a timely manner with good communication throughout.Would DEFINITELY Recommend Nick s to anyone nearby.

Took truck there for an insurance claim accident.Customer service was greatBUT I had to take my truck back 3 times to get fixed and it's still not fixed right. I will not drive 40 minutes for a 4th time because it's not worth it.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! After being hit by another car I took it to Nick's Auto Body....what a MistakeI have had my car there before for stripes on the sides of the car and it was perfectly done and they were very nice. However when I brought my car in to be fixed after extensive damage from being hit by another vehicle the entire left side was destroyed. The rear bumper had to be replaced and both doors drivers and rear door. When I went to pick up my car nothing had been finished it had a new door on the front which was tightened so tight the side of it was up in the air and very far apart from the car and crooked the rear door same thing the back bumper was so tight to the trunk lid you couldn't fit a pin in it so they had to adjust the rear bumper there had been pins not put back in the parts replaced so the car was hanging all over you could see huge spaces between all of the parts that had been replaced. So basically all the work that they did needed finished the doors no longer close properly even though they are new doors. I was missing approximately 10 or more clips..... & THEY LEFT DAMAGE ON TOP OF MY TRUNK AND DOWN FROM THE REAR WINDOW DOWN TO THE TOP OF THE BACK DOOR !!! I BROUGHT IT TO JIM'S ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY WHEN I WALKED OUTSIDE TO VIEW THE CAR HE SEEMED UPSET THAT I HAD NOTICED!!! HE TRIED TO BUFF BY HAND AND WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. So when I took the car back to be fixed I reminded them of the circles on top of the trunk several of them! They did buff out the trunk and the circles did not completely go away I was told that they could not buff anymore because then it would need painted I said well then it needs painted because there are still circles on it and I can't resell it like that it needs to be in the shape it was before the accident. He had the worker tell me that he had only done the buffing as a courtesy?!?!??? What???!! They did the damage but are trying to not be responsible for fixing the damage They caused!!! I still have to speak with Jim from the office on WIlmington road... They need to fix this before I have to take further action because I cannot believe I have had this kind of experience with a well-known auto body shop! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP NICK'S DID NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CORRECT AND NOW ARE BEING RUDE ABOUT IT AND TRYING TO GET OUT OF FIXING WHAT THEY DID. HE SAID PERHAPS IT WAS A CUP OF COFFEE THAT THEY SET ON IT... WELL I'D LIKE TO SEE THE CUP OF COFFEE THAT WOULD LEAVE MARK SO DEEP THAT YOU COULDN'T BUFF IT OUT LOL NICE TRY THEY OBVIOUSLY SAID SOMETHING MUCH WORSE ON MY TRUNK. I took it back after they "fixed" the trunk & it is Full of Scratches from their Buffer. So now I have to contact them Again to fix all Those! They are HORRIBLE I would Never Go There if you want it done "Professionally" !

If you not goin tru insurance u won't get serviced. (Garbage)Get my facts straight? I called yesterday and very clear the person who pick up my phone call told me we only doing insurance work only .. no jobs from outside. And I clearly told him .. what's the difference my money not green like them? He asked me what type of car I had and when I told him he again repeat what he said.. since I can't answer ur comments on this I edit my comments with my answer. Have a great day.

Went to the Wilmington rd address for a estimate, my truck was hit from behind, the estimate guy wanted to charge me for additional work because there was very minimal rust pimples on my wheel well, (nothing to do with the damage that was caused) also would not write me a estimate, said they send directly to the insurance of the driver who hit me "IF" im getting the work done at nicks. He said they won't do the work unless I paid for the extra rust fix. I went to Preston, gave me a estimate on site for $4500. I got the work done there with no cost.

Nicks did a great job on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee it looks as good as the day I bought it. They are a very professional and knowledgeable company and care about there clients. I would recommend Nicks to any buddy lookin to have there vehicle repaired.

My daughter's car was in a slight wreck. The gears were slipping and there was minor front end damage. They had the car for almost 5 weeks, never fixed the problem (with the shifter...it still will not go into reverse but continued to use up the whole insurance claim to say the did repairs. which was replacing one headlight and low bumper paint....then proceeded to push my car out to me when it was time for me to pick it up. 3000.00 later!!!!! Horrible service! Please DO NOT go there for anything!Services: Transmission, Painting

Dropped it off January 4th 2021..Jim called with progess report..Van will be done January 15th 2021..Will post the after pictures as soon as i get it back home and in the garage!..it has now been over 2 years..the paint is peeling off around the windows and the paint is peeling off on the roof..they charged close to 4000 for a paint job...was told when I stopped in at the eye 18 place that who ever painted..didn't do a good job prepping the surface..I said you guys painted it at your mill street store...then the guy changed his tune..still waiting on a call back as to when to bring my van in to get the paint fixed..ps I worked for the national guard back in my 20ies....and this is the thanks I get...I hear nicks does lots of good things for veterans..

We were in an accident involving 2 deer. Insurance company gave us 4 different estimates and told us the car was worth more in scrap. The vehicle was not by any means a total loss but in the insurance eyes they just wanted to fight it. Everyone at nicks worked with us and helped get the vehicle repaired in immaculate condition. We have had zero problems with the car since it was fixed and we re extremely pleased with the service that everyone at nicks provided to us. Hopefully we never have to use them again but if it happens they ll be the first place we go to and would always recommend them. Thank you again for exceptional service.

Repaired my car, rust keeps coming through where they repaired. Wasnt rusting until AFTER they repaired the hood that was rolled under in the corner. And not only that, they painted my car THE WRONG COLOR. now they're refusing to correct the issue with THE RIGHT PAINT. had to file a complaint with the attorney general. So much for lifetime warranty ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S THEIR OWN MESS UPEDIT. First off, Shane, the bumper was repainted due to ROCK CHIPS therfore it is now the correct color, which is how i found out my car is supposed to have SILVER metalics, not RAINBOW. DONT BE MAKING STORIES UP TO MAKE YOURSELF AND YOUR BUSINESS LOOK BETTER. still doesn't change the fact my hood, the one you're guys "fixed" is still the wrong color, the fender, and half my door that they blended into! Get your facts straight! Know how to higher people that can do their job CORRECTLY! you look at my car, it is IMMACULATE. hope you don't treat future customers dirty like you are doing to myself!Good day, sir!Edit: contacted the attorney general about getting my car redone the correct way. Shane ( owner of nicks autobody ) lied through his teeth stating my car was wreckes a second time, when it wasn't. Using this LIE to get around not correcting his employees mistake. Never in my life have I had to deal with such scum in my life. Take money, do an incorrect job and not take responsibility and lie! Judgement day comes for us all and the way this man treats others is absurd

my vehicle was a total loss, but nicks kept me updated throughout the entire process, explained everything to me and even gave me a loaner car at no cost until I was able to get my new vehicle! I highly recommend them for all your repairs. my family have brought all our vehicles to Nick's for many, many years and I will continue to do business with them.

I consider them the best auto body shop in New castle area they called an updated me on my car every couple days. The staff is very helpful and very friendly
