Dishonest from the start. I purchased tires in 2019 that came with a 80,000 mile tread warranty. When getting an oil change at my usual garage they told me my tires needed replaced. Two were 2/32 and the other two were 3/32. The unevenness was due to having two of the tires previously replaced due to punctures. So I went to Goodyear today to have them all replaced as I had not even made it to 50,000 miles. As soon as I told them why I was there and brought up the warranty the lies begun.First, he said the tires I bought only had a 60,000 mile tread warranty. I told him that was incorrect and showed him the screenshot online from when I bought the tire and the tread warranty policy I had printed from Goodyears website showing it was in fact 80,000.Second, he said the warranty was only for 4 years and I was past that as I had bought them in 2019. Again, I referred to the policy that said it was 6 years.He also asked if I wanted an alignment, which he quoted for $140. I showed him that the online price was $95. He stared at the printout and told me that s only if you buy it online.After all of that he took my paperwork back to his manager and said they would bring the car in and measure the tread depth themselves. About a half hour later he comes out and said that my tread depth measured 4/32 for two 5/32 on the other two. In order to qualify for the warranty the tread depth had to be 2/32. I could have argued the quoted tread depth from the other garage that said it was already at 2/32 but at this point I did not trust the serviceman or the garage. I knew it would only be a matter of time before they found another lie to tell or problem that needed fixing to make their money back. So I left and will find a trustworthy place to get new tires. Based on other reviews here, looks like other people have had similar issues using the included tread warranty .

Jim the manager offered great customer service. I took my daughter's car to have the front brakes and rotors checked (after only 16,000 miles) that were installed by Goodyear Monroeville just a year ago. Jim had the rotors and brake pads replaced under warranty. He was pleasant and professional.

Got my car inspected and oil changed and tires rotated. They did a great job! The manager & the front counter man was extremely nice and professional! Their prices were great as well! Highly recommend & i will be back!

I visited this auto service Thursday August 3 2023And this is not first time.I got alignment on 2022 Toyota rav4 and Kevin (adviser) who was on reception, he is so knowledgeable, polite, professional and friendly. I don't know mechanics name who worked on the car however they did also great job.Goodyear, please keep and rate people like KEVIN.

The only Good Year Tire location I ll go to. Best customer service. Solid team. Amazing management!! Jim knows how to take care of his customers. Jim is a solid guy and someone I trust to go to for my tire and Jeep needs. Can t recommend this location enough!!

Jim at the Monroeville, PA location was excellent. While I ended up having to pay more than I anticipated, Jim s explanation was clear, logical and what was best for my vehicle overall. Great value and customer service.

As a customer service manager, I have to say the service here is great. Vernon has always been nothing short of amazing. Never would ve thought i would trust someone to work on my car after the dealer and valvoline destroyed my last car. But the guys at this Goodyear are always straight up about issues and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your vehicle is running properly. For example, I got 2 new tires installed here. There was a leak in one and when i brought it back, they fixed it at no extra cost. You can t find service like that at many other places.

I came here for my last two or three oil changes, online they advertise that a tire rotation is included in the oil change package which it's not the case if you book your appointment in store I found out today. I was told that I needed new tires due to the lack of getting a rotation and that there was a rather large difference in my front in rear tire grades. When I inquire why because it says online that it was included they gave me the response stated previously.

I came in yesterday to get a tire replaced. I told Vernon that there was a limited warranty on the tires that came with the purchase of a new vehicle. He told me that the warranty was through the dealer and that it had nothing to do with them. I told him it was a Goodyear warranty and showed him the pamphlet. He reiterated that the warranty was through the dealership and could not be handled by them. Cool, no problem. I asked if he could make a note on the invoice about the treadwear on the tires as the warranty was only good for the first 2/32 of treadwear. No problem, he said. At the end of the appointment, he told me he made a note on the invoice and I left thinking all was good. I got home and looked at the invoice more closely and it has a note saying "warranty denied - road hazard". There was no discussion of this notation with me at all. My wife didn't mention hitting anything in the road. It felt like this notation was added to disclaim Goodyear's liability on something that their agent told me they had nothing to do with. The whole encounter around the warranty felt shady. I specifically went to a goodyear tire shop because of the limited warranty. I am still hopeful that Goodyear will correct this situation, but Vernon's handling of the situation was not transparent and felt dishonest and deceptive.

I had some sidewall damage in one of my tires. I originally took it to Discount Tire where I was told I would need 4 new tires because my tread was low, and because the damage was dangerous. I felt uncomfortable going through with that as it would ve been a huge purchase. We decided to go to the Monroeville Goodyear for a second opinion and a quote on new tires. After having a look for himself, the gentlemen at the front had one of his tire techs take a look at the damage as well and both of them determined it was cosmetic and there was no need to purchase new tires. I can t tell you how much of a relief this was. I m leaving this review because they very easily could have taken advantage of my position and told me the damage was worth a new set of tires but they didn t. This kind of honesty is what makes a good company in my opinion. I would definitely recommend coming to this Goodyear location for your tire and service needs.

Excellent service.. They helped us our of a tight jam on short notice.We were in Pittsburgh on vacation from Florida. when we had a problem with our truck. Our dealer kept the truck for a whole day and did not fix the problem.We took it to Goodyear without an appointment and they got the part and got right to work fixing our truck. We had our truck back the next morning and left for home that day.A big thank you to the guys.

My experience at Goodyear was very positive. They were able to get me in right away. The employees are very helpful. They were able to diagnose my car, and fix it. The service manager Vernon Kephart was very helpful by keeping me posted and explaining all details. I will definitely recommend Goodyear in Monroeville to my friends.

Unbelievable service. First time here, and I will definitely be back for all my service needs.I had a nail in my tire, and they were unable to fix it. They ordered my new tire, it came in that afternoon, and I was in and out. Very caring and honest staff.I highly recommend! 5 stars don t do this place justice!!

My passenger side headlight was out and I called about a hour before they closed and my headlight was fixed ASAP. I will be going back to get tires. The manager Vernon Kephart was very helpful and nice. I received Excellent Service!

Vernon and his team did an excellent job on my Corvette. They were knowledgeable and Vernon went above and beyond with getting his best team members to service my car.He was great to do business with. Did not want to service my car. They told me they had a 2 week wait. Went to Firestone and they gave me an appointment for next day. They took my company asked for authorization and left my car in tip top shape.You could have gained several customers for life.Win Win for Firestone!

Jim was very helpful, the service was efficient. While driving from Annapolis to Pittsburgh I experienced a low tire pressure, I called Jim, he had my size and put 4 new tires on.

Update review. I was told to pay 2500 to get SUV inspected on phone. I declined and when i went to pickup truck they now say it's only $900. I went and got my suv looked at by another mechanic and he said all the work they say needs done didn't need done at all. Robbery. I will be contacting better business borough and magistrate until I either get my inspection sticker or refunded my $70. STAY AWAY. I posted on Facebook about my problem and got about 100 ppl with similar problems from them.

I was visiting from out of town and noticed that my tire had a slow leak over the previous couple weeks. I didn t think much of it bc I had a safety inspection and tire rotation and balance (separately) over the previous 6 weeks.It was nearly the end of the day when I visited good year in Monroeville next to the mall. The mechanic quickly noticed that my tires were dry rotted and the front driver tire had a large crack on the inside. This is a second car and doesn t get driven very much, but on this day I drove on the highway for about 300 miles at 60-70 mph. If that tire had blown, I shudder to think of what would have happened to me and my baby.They changed the tires and had me on my way quickly but not without having to work past closing to complete the job. I felt so lucky to be driving home on my new tires the next day.Thank you to the guys at Goodyear in Monroeville who put my safety and service ahead of their personal schedules that Saturday night.

I had a flat tire and the car s dealer did not have a replacement in stock. As it was a Goodyear tire, I called the closest Goodyear store, but they had no similar tires either and did not offer any help. I called another Goodyear store with the same result, as well as the next closest non-Goodyear store that was listed on the Goodyear site.I then called the Monroeville Goodyear store, and though they did not have a similar tire either, the salesman, Vernon, said he would call me back in a few minutes. He called back in less than ten minutes and told me he could have four tires that afternoon by 2:30! I then suggested that if I pumped the tire up, I could likely get to that store just to have him check out my existing tire. When I parked in front of the store, the tire had stopped at a point where a nail (it turned out to be a small screw) was visible. Vernon then assured me that I would be back on the road in an hour with a tire I could trust on the highway.Vernon did two critical things. First he did not just give up. He took the initiative (which no other store had done) and found that he could, at least get the tires and get them that day. I had checked on Tire Rack and the soonest they could get me the same tires was in ten days! Second, Vernon could have simply told me to buy four new tires, but he did not he offered to fix what I had and get me on the road in less than an hour.So Vernon really went above and beyond what any other store had done, and I will be sure to get my next set of tires from him at that store!! This was true, excellent customer service. A job very well done!!!!

I called at 4:30 PM on a Saturday and asked if they do breaks and they said sure we got you. I just appreciate them for doing that last minute and the price wasn t to bad the also let me know we re my tires stood as fair as needing new ones. I learned that I m paying too much for oil changes at another place so I ll be back.

We drove all over the area to get a tire patched. We heard every excuse in the book as to why we couldn t be accommodated by 5 different places. It was getting close to closing time so we were worried, but we stopped at Goodyear and they took amazing care of us. They were friendly and genuinely happy to take care of us. We are now loyal customers to Goodyear! I will never go somewhere else. Their customer service was top notch and we appreciate them taking the time to take such great care of us!

Best experience I have ever had when it came to servicing my car. I popped my tire around 4:30. Got to Goodyear @5:50 (10 minutes before they close) and was still serviced promptly with no attitude from anyone for arriving that late. Greatly appreciate the gentlemen who worked after hours to get me going!

Vernon was excellent. He made sure we were taken care of quickly and effectively when we got a nail in our tire on a road trip! He got us in and out in less than 30 minutes- he saved our trip! Wonderful service and great tire repair!

Recently had a new starter motor installed in my vehicle at this location since my vehicle was having starting issues. I first bought the starter myself at Advanced Auto for $160ish but they informed me that they would not install customer purchased parts. I understand why they would have this policy so I returned my starter and had them perform the install.After the install I reviewed the part number that they installed and found that they charged me $303.37 for the new starter motor. I asked where they got it from and they confirmed that it also came from Advanced Auto. When I looked up part on Advanced Auto with the exact same part number it is sold in store for $155.99. They effectively charged me $147.38 for them to go and buy the part from the store that I just returned the part to. I get that there could be some additional fees for procurement, but almost $150 extra just for them to buy the same part seems excessive. I also found an additional charge of $25 for "Shop Supplies".Overall the sales associate was extremely friendly and helpful (except for trying to sell me a $115 diagnostic fee). They got the work done very quickly and it appears to have fixed my problem. It just seems shady to have to pay an additional $150-$175 on top of the labor charge for them to install something. They up charged me on parts well beyond what seems reasonable. I still like Goodyear and their services, but I don't appreciate these additional charges.
