I needed some work done on my Nissan Titan before our trip up North for the Holiday's. I had no heat in the cab and one shop told me I needed a heating core but advised that it wouldn't be worth it given the year and miles of my truck. I called on A and J and they found a much minor issue saving me HUNDRED'S of dollars AFTER I told them to order the heating core. They didn't charge me for the heating core and saved me a lot more money on labor fees. They could have just did what I had asked them to do and reaped the benefit from another shop's poor diagnosis, BUT instead they called me with better news and was honest and informative. I confidently made it all the way to Massachusetts and back peacefully with two younger kids all warm and toasty! If you're looking for an honest shop who will take care of you and TRULY looks out for YOUR best interest, then A and J is your shop. Their integrity is bar none. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner!

These guys, and the lovely lady are the kindest, and most helpful! My husband got work done here, and they were very straightforward, honest, and well priced. This led me to go here when i got tires from a chain store and was having issues with them. They happily checked them out for me, and were very honest with me. I am headed back here soon, as my vehicle is having vibrating issues. But for over 10 years i only went to one place for repair work. I have always had a hard time trusting garages just because many will take advantage of you and charge a lot more than necessary. This place has not once given me that feeling. They all seem like wonderful, kind, and honest people. Highly recommend, and for me, i think i found my permanent garage after moving to town here!

Omg. On a trip from NY to Florida car breaks down. They get is in immediately and we re so sweet. We had to stay overnight until part arrived and they personally drove us to our hotel which was super clutch for me and my son!

Absolutely, I will be a regular customer! I took my daughter s legacy in another place a Dave s pro auto service (giant green building) in south Williamsport told me 750 dollars. I take it here less than 100!! Insane I will def come back with all my car issues! Amazing service! Lady was so nice! They were quick and fixed what was wrong. Integrity is definitely something they practice here! They will take good care of you! Reputation is everything! It s easy and lazy to run the car on a computer when there was a heat shield that can t be scanned. Good mechanics look at the car and can see what s wrong! All other people who work on cars don t deserve the title! Fake mechanics all they do is bolt and go or run it on a computer! I can do that at home! A &J have got real guys that know what they are doing! It s hard to find that now days! Her car runs great now no issues! No more lights on dash no more heat shield sounds. Came in for an alignment and it was completed in a timely manner. Everyone is so nice and friendly too. I will definitely be going back to get my oil changed.

"Discovered" A&J 4 years ago when we moved to Milton from out of Country. We have 3 vehicles ranging from a newer Volvo Xc60, to a Jeep 4 door wrangler, to a classic 71 Bronco. Archie and his team perform all my maintenance, repairs, upgrades and annual inspections. They are always responsive on the phone, and keep me fully informed of what is happening. They have never performed a service without getting prior approval (even if I say "do what it needs"). Consummate professionals that stand behind their work. I have recommended all my family and friends in the area to the their shop and all have had excellent service. I took my c5 corvette to a & j and let me tell you what, they completely blew it out of the water, great hourly rates, took it in for an estimate and they measured and let me know what to get and how they were going to do it, they quoted me 2 hours and when it came time to pick my car up they explained the issues they ran into and how they handled it and said it took 3 hours, however they only charged me for 2 due to them quoting 2, it turned out way better than imagined and will definitely return here, great group of people!Service: Exhaust

Great people, awesome experience, got what I needed done in a timely fashion, eill definitely use again. Took a 2011 dodge nitro to have front end work done, picked that up today and dropped off my teuck for exhaust work great,, the crew is awesome to work with and did everything the way I wanted it done. I have been going to A & J Auto for 8 years and they are wonderful people to deal with. It's nice to have a trusted auto repair and maintenance service center so close to my home. They service all 3 of our vehicles and we couldn't be more happy with the quality of service we receive. You can usually get your car in for service in a day or two after you call-excellent! I recommend them highly for anyone looking for quality automobile service in the Milton, PA area. Twice over the years the owner, Archie, promptly came out to fix a flat tire I had when I was told by AAA that it would be a 2 hour wait. Two thumbs up!!

Our car broke down on the way to Niagara Falls. We were towed to A&J auto and had excellent service. Although our car needed repairs that would be better treated under our dealership warranty, Archie and Jane were awesome! They ran full diagnostics with a report for our dealership. Their service was very friendly and honest. We particularly enjoyed this shop because we had our 3 year old daughter along and we were far from home. She was completely entertained by their toys and books as well as the owners engaging with her. We would highly recommend this business!

My daughter and i came through here during a long trip. Archie was so helpful! They were extremely busy but he made time to take care of my car so we had a safe trip home.I felt so comfortable and welcomed. I couldn't have been happier. I dropped my car off expecting to at least pay for a new battery. They went out of their to find out I had a warranty and got my battery for free. My entire bill for everything was only $70. A&J is the most honest and trustworthy establishment I have ever visited. I go out of my way to drive 30 minutes for their excellent service. I would recommend A&J 's to anyone.

We had the most wonderful experience with A & J Auto Maintenance Center. On a 6 hour trip from NJ to PA, our car broke down halfway into our trip in a town we were entirely unfamiliar with. Not to mention, this inconvenience occurred during the COVID-19 crisis, in which most shops were closed and unable to assist. However, Archie and his wife made us feel so comfortable as they fixed our car for us within an hour or two. Certainly two of the kindest and most helpful people we have ever met, and their generosity as well as their services are unmatched. Definitely willing to make the 3 hour trip here from our own home for any car services we need. So worth it!

Had a check engine light turn on while on a long road trip. Stopped by A&J to have it looked at, and they resolved the problem in under 45 minutes. Engine overheated on our 2009 minivan 2 hours from home along I-80, while my husband and son were enroute to visit grandparents. Fortunately, they were near the Loganton rest stop and could safely park. Engine was flooded with antifreeze so we suspected a blown hose, but knew they'd need a tow and repair locally. Wish we'd known about A&J immediately, but it was already nearly 4:00 pm and we were finding it hard to get a tow. (For future reference, A&J knows lots of tow-companies and would have stayed open late to get us back on the road the same day...) When my guys realized they'd be stranded overnight, I drove from eastern PA to get them, then drive back with hubby next morning. I found A&J online and picked them based on reviews, and feel very fortunate that's where we ended up. I have it on good authority they are over of the only safe places in the vicinity to get an emergency repair at an honest diagnosis and price. Owner Archie and his wife Jane are delightful people (turns out they used to live in our neck of the woods in the Poconos), who accommodated our van immediately upon getting it towed to their shop. One of the heater hoses had cracked and the other was close behind. There's a parts store (as well as a dealership) just up the road and they had us back on the road in just a few hours at a very reasonable price - $253 for dual hoses and heater core kit and labor (we are certain that the numerous unscrupulous repair centers would have charged double or triple, or worse, price gouged for unnecessary work). WE HEARTILY RECOMMEND A & J Auto. If we lived locally, they would absolutely become our regular mechanics. If you break down, I suggest you call A&J's first, as they may be able to arrange a quick tow for you as well. Thank you, Archie and Jane for your wonderful service and kindness!

My wife and I have been going to A & J's for a couple of years, and they cannot be beat! They are down to earth , fair and honest. They explain any issues in detail and really help the customer understand. They have gone above and beyond what I have experienced in the past with other maintenance shops. They are a valued business in our community and their service, quality, knowledge and kindness cannot be beat!

This place and these people are the best! I was visiting a sick family member at Evan hospital after driving from my home in Maryland. My car was making a weird noise which resulted in a very stressful trip. I called and spoke to Archie. He went out of his way to look at my car even though the shop was extremely busy that day. He took great care of me...making sure I would get back to Maryland safely. I could not have asked for a better experience. Seriously I could go on and on about how great they are! I highly recommend A and J.

Excellent, prompt, friendly, fair-priced service!!My alternator died while I was on Route 80, and I was stranded at the rest area near Danville, about 2 hours from home.I looked up repair shops close to me, and boy, was I lucky to have found A&J Auto!!Archie had a new alternator out to my location within an hour of me talking to him on the phone.About a half hour later I was back on the road! And I m pretty sure the bill for that top-notch on-call roadside service was lower than my regular mechanic would have charged to do the same work in his shop!!So there is one thing I regret about the experience... now that I know about A&J Auto, I wish I could use them for ALL of my vehicle repairs and maintenance, but I live too far away!!!You folks in Milton, PA are blessed!You ve got a really good guy out there!!Thanks again, Archie!!!

Archie and Jane were extremely helpful when my car broke down nearby on I-80. They were able to tow me to their garage and fixed the problems overnight. Prices were very reasonable and service was friendly, fast, and professional. If I lived nearby I would get my car serviced there regularly. Highly recommended.

Called multiple shops in the area and A&J kindly answered and told us to come through! They quickly diagnosed our check engine light cause and fixed us up to be on our way- We would have definitely been stranded if our van didn t get the attention it needed! My car broke down while i was driving across the state and they went above and beyond to help me out and fix my car quickly to get me back on the road. they helped explain to me what was going on and made sure I was going to feel comfortable finishing my drive. Archie took great care of my Harley. New tires,all fluids changed and inspected. Had a small issue the following day after picking up and I gave him a call. Took it right back in and he corrected the problem. Super customer service!

You won't find a better place for service. Honest, friendly, knowable, accommodating, very reasonable even though you can't find this service at any price these days. I was traveling and my diesel truck broke down near Milton. Even though Archie was overbooked he went out of his way to help me. Archie and Jane are terrific, caring people with staff that can perform quality work at very reasonable rates. I could go on, but you need to go and experience their service yourself !!

Honest, communicative, knowledgeable, and experienced; Archie and his wife are unmatched when it comes to local automotive maintenance expertise. I was referred to their shop by a friend who knew I was looking to perform a suspension swap. With my heinous work schedule, I rarely have time to change my oil let alone upgrade my suspension. Archie and his technicians went beyond expectation and had my truck in and out of the shop in a day: exactly as they had estimated.I m writing this 7 months after the swap with a few cross-country trips completed. Rough mountain trails, sand-strewn tracks, thick swamps, and over 16,000 miles later, I haven t had a single issue with my vehicle.A and J Auto provides an unbeatable value when it comes to automotive maintenance.

Awesome people. Me and a buddy broke down halfway through our 5 hour trip, thankful that we came across A&J they took great care of us. If you are unfamiliar with the area and having car trouble I highly suggest A&J auto as your first choice.

Go here for your repair! Honest and super fair rates, above and beyond service! I was traveling from California to New York and broke down with a broken yoke and damage to my driveshaft. Archie proposed solutions to get me on the road quickly to the art Festival ... My destination. His wife Jane is super kind and down to earth. Great team!! The crew even helped me to reload my display and heavy paintings because they new my arrival deadline was soon.

Don't bother looking at other shops: take your car here! We broke down two hours from home and were really lucky to find this shop. They went out of their way to squeeze us in and the tech even worked through his lunch to get us back on the road. They were extremely communicative, told us what went wrong, showed us the bad parts and discussed our options with us. No fake problems; no price gouging. Just good, honest, hardworking people who actually care about their customers. LOL, I wish we lived closer so we could go here all the time!Other stuff that may be of interest to you: A&J is a Technet shop, which means any parts they install are warrantied. There's a NAPA parts store just up the road from A&J's garage, so quick and accessible. The Technet warranty is good in all 50 states, which makes it GOOD if you are not local or travel. Also, Technet extends the 12-month manufacturer/dealer warranty on parts to 24 months and INCLUDES labor. Which mens if your vehicle breaks down anywhere, any state, and the problem is that part, Technet will cover 100% the cost of repair and part replacement. A&J's repair costs are extremely fair and reasonable, so to get this additional benefit is excellent customer service and value, and just added PEACE OF MIND.Service: General repairs & maintenance
