Professional, fast and dependable. Peifer Towing and Recovery helped my teen son when his vehicle engine seized in the middle of nowhere. Most recently Peifer s towed my vehicle from the mechanic to my residence. Always there when needed and has given me peace of mind. Excellent service and will always be the first tow I will call in the future.

While traveling back to Michigan from a draft horse event, our tow vehicle broke down. Pifers was able to haul our truck and trailer, with 2 horses. They also helped us locate a farm to house our horses while the truck was being repaired. I ended up not having to use their service however the gentleman who took my phone call was extremely kind and informative. It was a weekend and he was prepared and ready to assist with towing my vehicle as needed.

This is the best towing company I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. Ashton was my driver and was so pleasant and treated my baby with such care. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you knew me, my vehicles are like my children, and I just cannot give enough stars or credibility to this company for their professionalism and compassion in my time of need. 2 thumbs up! Only company I'll use from here on out.

These guys are fantastic! Very knowledgeable and very well priced. Typically, when you need a winch out or tow your scared to death to call because you know you're probably going to be price gouged. But not by Peifer's! They are very honest and know their stuff! They are my first call whenever I m in need and they always impress me. Thank you for all the great work you guys do! I would give Todd ten stars if I could. He moved some large and very heavy equipment for me and it was a great experience from start to finish. He was very professional, easy to reach, a great communicator, and just about the nicest guy you've ever met. He even was trying to figure out how to save me money! On Sunday March 13th our daughter struck a deer on her way back to college. As a result her car was not able to be driven. My husband called Peifer Towing and Recovery and they arrived on the scene to assist her within a short period of time. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. My car broke down in a bad spot on the side of a mountain. I called Peifer and after answering right away, he said he would be on his way within minutes. He arrived promptly, was able to handle the tricky location like a pro, and sent the bill right away. Very impressed and grateful for this service. Highly recommend!

Less than 200 miles from home our truck transmission started acting up. Then the engine symbol came on the dashboard and we had to pull over in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania. This happened on Labor Day, of course!!! We contacted Triple A to find a tow truck that would take us home to Seneca Falls, NY but most were closed and no drivers would go out of state. They found a local Chevy dealer but they we re closed due to the holiday. So in the morning we called Troutmans Chevrolet and they gave us Peifer Towing & Recovery s phone number to call. What a lifesaver that turned out to be. Todd was wonderful. YES they could tow us to our Chevy dealer in New York. No problem. Ashton was our driver who was super fantastic, knowledgeable and professional. We were treated just like family. Was a great 200 mile ride home with our pickup in tow. They were our lifesavers for sure. I would recommend PEIFER TOWING & RECOVERY if you ever need a tow. Thanks again to everyone there. This business was a God-send! I locked my keys in my car while visiting my parents in Millersburg, so my second set of keys were over an hour away. They picked up the phone right away when I called and let me know they were on another job call but would call me back in 45 minutes to let me know when they could get to me. They ended up getting to me 40 minutes after I placed the call, which I thought was great response time, considering they were on another job when I called them. The man that came to help was very professional, kind, and efficient, and was able to get my car unlocked even though it seemed to be having electrical issues with the unlock button. I wouldn t hesitate to call them again!

I needed a local tow from where my car stopped dead to the garage for a clutch transplant to get it back on the road . Peifer was quick to respond and answered all my questions. Reasonable fee.Very happy, I am.

If you like highly professional, swift, and courteous assistance, Peifer of Millersburg is your choice! We were stranded at 1am in Elizabethville, PA and Peifer took my call, was very kind, and very detailed with the towing costs. They showed up in 30 min after the call and took us home. My lift on my Tahoe broke as my son was coming down Peters mountain. I call to make sure they had a wide rollback because my Tahoe has wide tires. Which they did they have two. I gave him the address where my son stop, just by luck the owner was heading in that direction he stop to check on my son and to make sure it would fit which it did. Called his drive and sent him on his way. Even called me back to let me know. I strongly recommend them. They went above and beyond what they needed to do. Superb service. After an unfortunate tire poking experience and a little debacle with the roadside people and the other company backed out, these guys came to the literal middle if nowhere and up a mountain to my rescue. My spare naturally turned out to be a dunce, so they loaded my van up and hauled back and plugged me up so I could make it work. It worked! Super friendly and even allowed my pup to steal some lap space.Thank you again!

My boyfriend locked his keys in the car while it was running and they came out in under 20 minutes and had us back in the car within 5 minutes on a Saturday night at 7. I swerved my car to avoid hitting a deer and went down over a bank.Peifers responded quickly and was concerned about my safety and comfort.He stayed with me until my family arrived. And again thank you and I would recomend this towing service to anybody.

I was using geico app. They messed 1st request then dispatch Peifer Towing. They arrived quickly staff was wonderful .. Excellent service. If have a choice in the future this is the service I'll request
