Our 12 year old Troy-bilt riding lawnmower needed a bit more attention than I could give it at home, so we trusted the repairs to Sawkill. They not only exceeded my expectations by repairing it to like-new, but the pick up and drop off service made it a breeze. The price was fair for the work completed, and the turn around time was perfect. Highly recommended.

Great local business to deal with, have made multiple purchases. They have a wide selection and are very knowledgeable. They really take the time to help you with a proper machine for your purpose. Great staff, always friendly.

I recently used Sawkill Power Equipment to repair my 20 year old, neglected/abused snowblower. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work. My blower now runs as good as it ever did. They picked up and delivered after the job was done. It's pretty hard to beat that. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to use them in the future. Thanks guys !Edited October 23rd, 2023I recently visited the store and replaced my old snowblower. Austin and the rest of the staff answered all my questions and provided fantastic customer service. I got the machine I needed for a fair price and delivery/setup was also handled perfectly. Once again, I couldn't be happier and will use Sawkill Power again in the future. Thanks (again) guys !

First experience with this company - I picked up a Dr Power vacuum. Besides, the product I was looking for they have an excellent selection of residential and commercial equipment. It's well worth a visit and you'll be greeted by a beautiful Black Lab. I'll be keeping them on my list whenever I need equipment. Great experience and service!

Just purchased a new Mahinra 1640 tractor, I must say this place treats you as if they have known you forever. It have been the most enjoyable place to work with! Austin and the team have been Great.

I can t say enough about the team at Sawkill power equipment , there amazing. They a friendly, professional and easy to work with. I had a great experience. I live in western Sullivan county NY and the Exmark deal near me where I bought my mower from is no longer in business. I would suggest anyone from my area that needs work on there Exmark to visit theses guys. Again there great.

I've purchased numerous machines from sawkill. Everything from chainsaws, mowers, blowers and generators, even a special order rototiller. Tools I use everyday. Sawkill has all the parts and pieces to support your tools, usually in stock. If they don't have it, they get it, quick. Having what I need in one place, knowing me by name when I walk in the door, beats any online ordering experience by far. Austin and his crew, from sales too service, is by far the best around.

This is the best place in the area for power equipment sales and service. We have purchased all of our equipment through them, since they opened. They stand behind the products they sell, and have always been happy to help me before and after the sale. They carry the best brands at the best prices. Not only do they carry everything for the commercial user, but they also have homeowner grade equipment at the same price you would find at the big box stores, with far superior knowledge and service.

I ve been to this place a few times over the years and never had a problem until recently. I brought a Huska Varna and they diagnosed it as not worth fixing. I picked it up brought it home started it up and began to use it but noticed that the muffler was loose. Tightening it required a special tool which I don t have so I figured I would just bring it back and ask them to return it to where it was when I brought it in the first place. They happily did sell. It took about two minutes and The front desk guy Asked me to pay five dollars for the privilege fixing something that they had left loose in the first place. His reasoning was that it took the mechanic away from his work for all of two minutes to tighten two bolts. He said nothing about the time it took for me to have to drag that thing back there for him to spend two minutes tightening two bolts. Long and short of the story is that I did not pay the five dollars is I felt it was unfair and I was told not to return to the store so essentially I was banned from Sawkill. Not sure I understand that nor am I sure that I will honor it. I will likely have a conversation With the manager to express my concern about their poor customer service at least on that particular day.

Great staff and a competent mechanic who quickly repaired the recoil starting assembly on Our Storm Cat genset.Even though it is a little inexpensive 2cycle unit, it has done a great job thru the power outages this past month.We're very glad to have a shop like to this in Our Community and the repair cost was reasonable!

Finally was able to use my new splitter that was recommended highly by Austin at Sawkill. Awesome recommendation! Customer service is top notch, knowledge on products was insightful and I will definitely be using them in the future.

Sawkill Power equipment always goes above and beyond to meet my needs and expectations. Whether it be buying new equipment from them or maintenance/repair of old equipment, they keep my mowing business operating at its best all the time. They are the go to for any power equipment needs

I brought my chainsaw to Sawkill. I did not purchase the saw from them. The saw would not start. New plug fresh gas...dead. Turns out it was a simple fix. They fixed it while I waited, no charge. THAT is how to get me back in the store. Sawkill can look forward to seeing me again.

Waited until I was acknowledged by the man behind the counter. He greets me with hey what s up I asked if he could look at my broken lawn mower to determine if it could be repaired or did I need a new one, which I was willing to do. He said no and it won t be looked at before 7-10 days.I was more than willing to buy a new mower from them but now knowing the awful customer service, I willNot buy anything from them. I will also tell everyone I know not to shop there.I got to the store at 10:45 am on Saturday and the store was open until 2. If you are to lazy to want to help or worse than that a counter person who is not knowledgeable, you will fail anyway!

when other dealers near me refused to do warranty work on my lawn mower I called sawkill and they said to bring it in. they said it would look at it in a week.a week later it was fixed. great people to do business with.i now will bring all my work there even it is a distance from me. mower runs great.

I just had the following repaired and tuned up.Riding mowerBackpack blower2 weed wackersChain sawPower washerSnow blowerThey picked it all up and the returned the repaired snow blower day before snow storm. We paid with a credit card only to receive a call a day later that they had over charged us. Can't say enough about these guys. And now they just dropped off all the rest of my equipment. Detailed paperwork for each item LOVE IT.

I brought my snowblower in to have my carburetor clean out. After they checked it almost everything needed to be changed according to them even my starter. My starter worked fine before I brought it to them, but when I got my snowblower back I am having a hard time starting my snowblower.

The young man at the desk was very polite and very nice. He was very eager to help me and answered all of my questions. The store is very clean and I would very much recommend anyone to come visit. The young man had blonde hair very nice experience :)

I felt compelled to write a review of my experiences with Sawkill Power Equipment after reading the two negative reviews on Google. Though I will not elaborate on those reviews, it is my opinion that Sawkill does excellent work, and always has provided me with accurate estimates before starting any job.I've had two mowers serviced on three different occasions by Sawkill and each was very positive.The first was with a ten year-old mower I inherited that had not been serviced in years. It would not even start without a jump. Sawkill picked it up, gave me an accurate estimate, and after approving the work, they had the mower overhauled, running, and back to me in mere days.The second occasion was for a mower I purchased for another location. It was in bad shape, but again, Sawkill picked it up, and gave me an estimate. After my approval, they fixed what needed to be addressed, and expeditiously returned it. I needed it back fast, as the grass was growing like crazy; Sawkill obliged, and I could not have been happier.The third time Sawkill bailed me out was when a steering rod broke on the first mower. Literally, the wheel fell off and the mower was left laying on my lawn. Sawkill, again, quickly picked it up and returned it to me fixed, just before vacation, enabling me to get the grass cut before going away. Additionally, the final bill came in lower than the estimate.Sawkill has repeatedly helped me out, and did so quickly, and equitably. No, work is not free in this world, and people who expect things to be done for free really irk me. I will happily continue to do business with Sawkill Power Equipment, as they are an asset to the Milford community.- Preston Ehrler, Milford, PA
