I had a leak in my transmission cooling lines that also runs through the main radiator. Was at a different mechanic that quoted me an eye-popping $1500+ to replace the whole radiator which apparently involved removing the front bump, discharging the A/C to move it to do the radiator replacement plus new hose lines. So I thanked them and paid them $120 for the diagnostics. I went to Allen's and they did a simple hose replacement that works. Parts and labor was $80. Will it be a long term fix; time will tell.I was coming from the Binghamton area so very much worth the short trip over the border. There was an old guy in the Binghamton area right near 81 interchange named Joe Hickey that had a shop, long since retired but Joe was was honest to a fault. Allen's reminds me of Joe. Great to know there are people who can get off the script and come up with creative solutions.
