Dave and the team at BimmerBuddies are absolutely fantastic. It is hard to find anyone as well versed as they are on the e30 chassis. What took other shops hours to diagnose, took the guys minutes to find the problem... if you have an e30, e36, e46 or simply any BMW at all, this is the place to take it!!

So I waited a few hundred miles to leave a review. I approached BimmerBuddies wanting to do a transmission swap on my E36 M3. They happened to have a parts car at their shop, so it worked out perfectly. I sent my car from northern NJ to Pa, because they where recommended by a good friend. Told them to go over the car and fix anything wrong with it. The transmission swap is perfect, these guys know what they are doing. The other things they found where fixed to my satisfaction. I m pleased. If I m going to be honest, they missed placed my lighter and two screws and two pieces trim, that go on top of these screws. But in the amount of work I had these guys do, this is nothing. I m very happy with the work, and would recommend this shop to any Bmw owner.

they are always nice and helpful on the phone I called in twice once to get a price quote on adding a m50 intake on a e36 was pleased with the quote will be going in to do it soon but they are always nice on the phone and can t wait to work with them to get my baby prestine

I was recommended to them to get my AC working on my 1992 325i. They did an awesome job, finished as quoted and in the time they said it would take. Additionally they went out of their way to get me fixed on a Friday afternoon..Great guys and very patient with me .

Highly recommend all BMW owners bring their cars to the professionals at this shop. They do honest work at fair prices and the owners are definite Bimmer aficionados. Although most of their expertise appears to be in the classic BMWs, they had no issue with addressing the issues with my BMW i3.

They are honest at first got your trust then scam you all over if you don t know your cars which in this care we do. We ve been going there for years and got many work done there until one repair they got caught and denied they cheated on a $2000 repair job which bmw dealer confirmed they did a short cut, which typical just takes 4 hours labor but then charged us over 18 hours of labor work and ruined bmw part warranty. Worst of all, what ve they done could potentially ruin the M engine luckily didn t happen cause we brought the faulty repair back to the dealership. Those guys are young and knowledgeable but sadly have no integrity or honestly which should be the fundamental quality of a vintage repair shop. Owner of those valuable vintage bmws just be aware what you choose. You better off with a pricy mechanic doing honest work rather than someone has no respect of your valuable car and charge a reasonable price.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

My Z3 needed a Randy Forbes kit installed. It s an involved project requiring cutting away at the trunk floor and lots of welding to reinforce the diff mount and rear crossmember. No shops that I took it to or inquired about in Philly had the know how or interest to install it. Bimmerbuddies got it done in 3 weeks and for an amazing price. I couldn t have asked for more. I will be buying a trailer and taking all my BMW projects to them in the future.

Had them look over a 1989 325i that refused to start. Had the entire car looked over and a fully compiled list of parts and labor they would need to perform in under a week. After giving them the go-ahead to do the work they had my car running better than it ever had before in a timely manner. Besides all of that, the awesome gentlemen who run this shop are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I had a Vanos code on my E90 as well as a transfer case fluid error. Heard positive things about BimmerBuddies so I gave them a shot. They replaced the fluid and replaced a faulty Vanos solenoid that was causing my engine to perform at lower power. The guys here know what they are doing and are BMW enthusiasts. Their work is professional and their prices fair. Will be coming back if/when I need their expertise in the future.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Replaced timing belt, water pump, plugs, cap, and wires on my 92 325i conv. These guys are knowledgeable and provide seamless service at fair prices. I will be coming back. Well done!

Got my E30 manual swap done here and more. Very helpful, looked over the whole car and gave me pointers on possible future issues and how to address them. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys quality work done on their BMW's

The guys got me out of a jam while traveling to family. Water pump replaced in no time with fair pricing and parts on hand. Just a great enthusiast shop.01/04/2022 - Had a little hiccup with my repair that was quickly resolved. Would not hesitate to return.

I can t recommend Bimmer Buddies enough! Everyone is super nice and easy to talk to. These guys know their stuff and it shows. Location is nice with big lot you feel comfortable leaving your car at instead of some tight downtown lots I ve been to before. Pricing is fair and my car is driving better than it ever has now! Will be taking both my cars here for years to come!

First time I showed up was in September 2019 and they let me use a K Dcan cable at their shop for free for an hour to tune my 11 335i. I showed up earlier this month for a bunch of minor repairs and maintenance and they were very reasonable with their labor costs. 11/10 would recommend the place and the person at the desk (Sean) was very informative and was able to answer all of my questions.

Spoke with the owner for the transmission swap to manual on my e36. He was very courteous and provided me with necessary info on costs and timelines. I will updade review once work has been completed.

I just moved into the area and was looking for a new indy mechanic. I had a misfire in my E90. I called them at noon, they said bring it in and they'll take a look at it, had the car in by 1230 and was out the the door by 2 with the car running perfect. They gave a bunch of great info and walked me through what was wrong which I always appreciate. I'll definitely be coming back

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ...THEY VAN ONLY REPAIR VINTAGE BEEMERS...THEY CHARGED ME OVER $6000 AND THEN SAID I NEED A ENGINE THEN TO ADD THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RESOURCES TO FIX MY CAR....??WHY BOTHER TAKING THE JOB???..THEY MADE ME CHANGE VANOS UNIT AND SOLENOIDS AND THE PROBLEM WAS ON THE CRANKSHAFT... INSTEAD OF DROPPING OIL PAN FIRST THEY MADE ME CHANGE UNNECESSARY PARTS AND I STILL HAD TO TOW MY CAR OUT OF THERE....THEY EXPECT TO GET PAID BUT CAN'T EVEN FIX YOUR CAR....WILL NOT EVER RETURN!!!! THAT'S THE FIRST AND LAST TIME...MONEY HUNGRY MECHANIC...yeah i hear you Mr owner...YOUR DIAGNOSIS OF MY CAR WAS ALL WRONG....DID NOT NEED A ENGINE REBUILD....IT WAS TWO SPROCKETS IN FRONT ENGINE THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED....CAR HAS BEEN REPAIRED BY A REAL MECHANIC...SO STICK WITH YOUR VINTAGE REPAIRS....
