Hard to find an honest car repair shop/car sales center...this is the one! I took my car in for inspection and got the honest but bad news that it was going to be not worth it to repair my car. I traded the broken one in for a new one from their lot because I know they know how to take care of cars (they've done work on my cars in the past and it's always been excellent). My new car purchase was easier than self-checkout at a grocery store. I saw the car I wanted on their website, I filled in an online form about the car I was interested in, and I received a call about one minute later! They held the car for me and filled out most of the paperwork in advance. I just showed up, signed on the dotted line a couple of times and I was on my way with a car I can feel confident in. Thanks!!

I absolutely LOVE this mom-and-pop shop auto center. They are competent, honest, and reasonably priced. They are patient and explain any/all issues at a level so that someone like myself who is not car savvy can understand. I cannot tell you the number of times I have been screwed over by other auto centers in the area because of being and female, and not once I have ever felt this way at Zimmermans. I recommend this place to everyone.

I have used this business and its associated companies for 25 years for different services (except Sales). Despite all this, the last 2 older cars that I sent here for inspection, having been pre-inspected by myself and very well maintained, have gotten some crazy expensive estimates for some weird items on write ups. These same vehicles when taken to other shops with no back story, have had reasonable, if any repair bills. 1 vehicle was recently sold and passed its new inspection with no work required a year later. Another was given an emissions inspection in 2019 and it was electric.... it makes me question my continued use of the next generations services. No, you will not find me in your records easily since I'm the title holder of the vehicles (I somehow have a fleet now) and am not listed on your paperwork. Believe it or not I have found the dealer to be less of an issue to deal with, regardless of the auto for Maintenace and repair. Please Note: their site blocks bad reviews as Spam.

My experience with this shop was far from satisfactory. Despite spending $200 for a diagnosis, the result was a lack of identification of any issues. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services based on this underwhelming encounter. I felt like Zimmerman's Automotive took advantage of us, and we are in a position that it is extremely difficult to recover from the loss of $200. A bitter truth made worse by not even having anything to show for the money. TL;DR, we weren't given the service we paid for, and felt like we were used to make a quick buck that now leaves us struggling for no reason.

I have been pleased with Zimmerman's Auto for about 27 years. I find the mechanics competent. The office staff is especially helpful. I appreciate that in emergencies they find a way to fit you in. It is definitely my "go to" service. The waiting room is comfortable and appreciated as I wait for the service to be completed.

I've been going to Zimmerman's Automotive for years. It is comforting to have confidence and trust in your mechanic. Steve and his team are always thorough and courteous. Their communication is timely and clear. I know that if they recommend service, it is required. They keep their promises and stand behind their work. I recommend Zimmerman's Automotive to everyone.

Would definitely refer anyone to Zimmerman. Routine maintenance was done and had one tire issue we discussed and took a photo so I could see problem. Asked them to treat my car as if it were a son or daughter s car. I feel very comfortable taking my vehicle there.

WOW!!! These guys are amazing!! I test drove a couple of cars. They answered all questions I had, no pressure. They are very friendly!! We ended up buying our son s first car from them. The paperwork went super smooth. They even filled the car up with gas! I WILL DEFINITELY BE RECOMMENDING THEM TO EVERYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE USED CAR!!! Can t say enough good things about them, they re the chef s kiss !!

I usually get my oil changed at the Chevy dealership but was going to start going to Zimmermans since it s closer to my house. I called to ask for their hours and was told they closed at 5 pm (online says 6 pm). I left work early, got there at 4:35 and was turned away because there wasn t enough time to complete the oil change even though there were 3 workers and only one of the two bays had a car. It really was a waste of my time to rush home for this. I ll stick with going to the Chevy dealership or find another place.

Extremely over priced. shop around and go elsewhere! friendly mechanics and service men but extremely rude front desk lady that has no time for anyone. no warm welcomes here. the receipt was confusing at first, did not understand declined services but Jacquie cleared it up for us. they did inspection and emissions test free of charge. you bet the service bill covered it in other ways. a little bit of a wait to get the car serviced but easy to set up an appointment, earliest was 2-3 days out (enough time to arrange a tow and pay less literally anywhere else) oil change was as quick as anywhere else if you don t mind spending $80.

Just moved to the area and needed state smog and safety check on two vehicles and some additional services on one. They did a very thorough review of both vehicles, including informing us of upcoming maintenance according to our vehicles mileage and service records. They gave us an estimate on the electrical work on one vehicle, and when things went quicker than expected charged us less. Appreciate that level of honesty. A retainer holding one of the turn signal lights broke off on the way home, and they made a temporary fix, ordered the part, called us promptly when it came in, and installed it at no additional charge, showing they stand behind their work.

My car stopped turning over and needed a new starter, I also am awful at remembering when my oil needs changed so I had that done. I called them when my car was literally dead in a parking lot and needed a tow service. I was on a time crunch cause I needed my car to drive to drill this weekend, they fixed it up in less than 24 hours. I was greeted nicely by a older man at the sales side who was very sweet and funny. I got my car back and they even cleaned the floors. They also accommodate for the military which was even better. Their prices were amazing, before I got a hold of them I was quoted at other shops who were double my quoted price from Zimmerman's. I will be using them in the future and recommending others. :)

Great service - Zimmerman's is honest, provides reliable repair/replacement options when available, and gets our cars in for service quickly, working around our schedules. We have been using them for many years. We purchased a used car from them and have never had any major issues. Highly recommend this family owned company; Zimmerman's cares about their customers and their community!

Just purchased a vehicle with my son and had the best experience. We knew it was time to trade in his current vehicle and were interested in a vehicle at Zimmerman's. We learned that the vehicle we liked had been sold but then met with Eric and he assisted us from there. He got us a good trade in value for our car and then helped us find another vehicle that was within our price range and just right for our situation. The whole process was easy, efficient and fair. Even worked with us in the timing of our payment.I highly recommend Eric and Zimmerman's. The test drive to purchase of the vehicle in was done in less than 24 hours!

The service was fantastic! Employees were polite and professional. They went out of their way to not only fix the problem I took my car in for - but they also observed that my car turned over hard on the cold morning I had dropped it off for service, so they tested my battery and gave me a heads up that it needed replaced soon. They didn't even mention buying one there, just provided a friendly heads up!

The staff at Zimmermans is outstanding across the board. Particularly Renee who answers the phone and coordinates getting you to the right division and Steve and Ken in service that genuinely listen to you about your service need and they follow up quickly with what they find with your vehicle. They are honest and transparent and do not push other repairs to jack up the bill. They will inform you of potential concerns. Very reasonably priced and true professionals. Their vehicle sales department is top notch too and they service what they sell. Highly recommend Zimmermans.
