Todd and the team at MSCC are very knowledgeable on the cars that they are working on. I went to a different shop before and I was told that it was going to cost me $15k to repair my Audi and before they even opened the hood. I had one conversation with Todd and he was able to give me multiple explanations what might be happening. Dropped off my car and they fixed the issues AND saved me a lot of $$$$. We will be bring our other German-made cars here from now on.

Todd is a master Audi mechanic. I recently brought my Audi Avant Wagon to him which was throwing VAG codes for the ABS, brake light switch, EPC, and several other codes. I got a quote from an Audi dealership for $2,800 to replace the ABS module. Todd sourced a used ABS module for me for about $675 installed, which also cleared all of the other codes. I had some other work done and the total bill was only ~ $980. Saved me a ton. Thanks!!!

I had a fantastic experience at Mechanicsburg Sports Car Center. The staff aRe incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They were thorough and efficient, and they explained everything clearly. I appreciate their professionalism and the peace of mind I have knowing my car is in good hands. They have earned my trust, and I highly recommend their services. Amazing amazing!!! I had multiple shops, and different people try to solve a problem with my Mini Cooper and nobody was able to do it. For 3-4 years I drove around with my MAF unplugged because my car ran rough with it plugged in. These guys kept my car for a week but they did all they could & they fixed it for me my car runs better than ever! Very transparent in work & pricing the entire time. Called me multiple times throughout the process to keep me updated. They were professional and very knowledgeable. I trusted my mini was in good care. The price tag at the end didn t even bother me because it was worth it to have trustworthy people working on my car. Never going anywhere else again! Todd and Tim are great at what they do. My family has been buying cars from them since the early 90's. Mostly Audis. They also have great service. They have serviced all of my vehicles since 2001. Again mostly Audis but a Mercedes was in there too.

I've not been to MSCC for a handful of years, but on the few occasions I did use them for service, they were great. Very knowledgeable staff - it is a great option for anyone local with a European car, in particular. They are also a licensed installer for TireRack, if you need some new sneakers mounted and balanced, for your car.Very highly recommended!

Purchased a used Mini from Sports Car Center - Todd. Past two used car purchasing experience in my life has been a nightmare. One was from a major car dealer who basically told me that the used cars are "as is" and whatever I find wrong with the car is my responsibility. This was after I purchased the car and on the way home the check engine light came on. I was furious and knew for sure that I had been scammed. But couldn't do anything about it and they didn't even want to check to see what was wrong with the car. Long story short, the car had major oil leaking problems and water coming inside the car every time it rained. I was never going to buy another used car.But I saw a Facebook post for a particular model of Mini that I have always wanted. I went to just take a look and so I drove all the way from MD to PA. Upon getting there I met with Todd who is one of the owners of the Sports Car Center and he explained how he had done a long list of repairs and maintenances on the car. "Yea right, sure..." I was thinking. The car was beautiful. But of course it was hard to believe and trust another person who was trying to sell me a used car. But Todd seemed really honest and genuine. I also met his father who started the business and kept it going all these years. Obviously they would not have been able to do that if they would have practiced dishonest business practices over the years.After a test drive and reading a few other reviews online, I decided to get the car. For at least a week I was on the edge, every time I would find something not quite right or hear a funny engine sound I would call Todd. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, he returned my call promptly and explain things and worked with me to make things right or to give me assurances that there is nothing wrong with the car. It has been an incredible experience considering the Mini was 13yrs old. Everything could have gone wrong and a terrible disaster. But now, I feel very comfortable and know that I purchased the car as described and promised by the seller for the first time in a long time. I would buy another car if I need to at Sports Car Center from Todd. And I would highly recommend anybody to buy a car from Todd at Sports Car Center or get repairs done knowing you really can trust this Shop. Even though I live in MD I plan to go up to Sports Car Center for all my repairs. Thanks again Todd

My experience there was terrible, the car was held in lot for almost a month before looking at it. One task for them was to look into why my doors weren't unlocking. I was charged for them to look for an issue as per norm. They said all of my door actuators failed and I needed 500$ per actuator. I spent 10 mins in my fuse box and replaced a 15 amp fuse. Doors work perfectly.The other replacement parts were installed correctly albeit 3 weeks after dropping the car off to have them look at it next week.( Car never changed position in lot ) I feel taken advantage of and expected betterServices: Auto battery replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Had to change my review. Always had good service with Tim and Todd, but last I was in they had some young kid running the desk. Told him my car was pulling to the right want a front end alignment. Also had a brake service message on. When I picked up my car he charged me $164.00 for a 4 wheel alignment and said it was fine, and yes it pulls to the right. Maybe it s a brake hanging up. Oh and didn t have time to look at brake message. After all the years I ve know Tim I won t be going back.

I've been bringing my cars to Mechanicsburg Sports Car for over a dozen years. During this time, they've proven to be excellent mechanics and treat me like a friend, not a customer. Once I even took my Audi to them with a failed battery that had been replaced the year before at the Audi dealership (it failed on a Saturday and the dealership was open in the morning or I'd have taken it to MSC). Todd called over to the dealership to find out if it was still under warranty, then replaced it without charge. They really go the extra mile to ensure professional, reliable service at a reasonable price.

My first experience was excellent! Easy to deal with. Very knowledgeable about my Mercedes and what is necessary to keep it on the road for the long haul. I was very impressed by the level of service and personal attention after years of servicing at a local MB dealer. The price for the service was very reasonable.

I'm not sure what 'P' is talking about.I've been taking my 528i to Sports Car Center for about a year now, and I've never had any problems with them. The service has been good and I've been impressed with their knowledge. When they have fixed problems with my car they've stayed fixed.I've never bought a car there, so I wouldn't know about that, but I definitely haven't been disappointed with their service.-Derek

My regular mechanic told me that my Mini Cooper needed specialized equipment to find the reasons for an oil leak and for a rough idle in which the vehicle would almost stall when the a/c was operating; I was getting no "check engine" codes. Chuck at Mech Sports Car Center found that my vacuum pump was leaking and that incorrect values were coming from the intake pressure and temperature sensor. I was only charged for two hours of labor to fix both issues. My 2007 Mini hasn't had this much pep since it had 50k miles! What a great experience.

Treated me right. I brought my KIA sorento there for an exhaust repair. he said weld should do me well, and I should replace the exhaust in the next 50K. honest and quick. I'll update this review as I receive more service from here.

If you have a German car, you need to bring your car to the professionals at Mechanicsburg Sports Car. After having my Jetta to a local dealership (who, ironically enough, has a name which sounds like an expletive) FIVE times for the same exact thing, the fine gentlemen at Mechanicsburg Sports Car fixed the issue the first time. Thank you so much for doing such a fabulous job and coming to the rescue. Hats off to Tim, Todd, Chuck, and Matt! Apologies if I missed anyone. Skip the stress of a dealership, save money and have your car fixed the right way (the FIRST time) by going to pros at Mechanicsburg Sports Carl!

I took my 87 IROC-Z Camaro to get the transmission replaced. Yes, they did replace the bearings that needed replaced, but after a week of driving it, the same problems came up again. I took it back and they looked at it and told me it was the bearings again. Said it was just a bad set that they got. $1100 to fix it the first time, and then they kept the car for 3 MONTHS the second time. BUT they weren't working on it for 3 months. It sat outside, covered in snow during the storms. It got worked on as a side project. Took forever to get it back. Once I FINALLY got it back, it was good for about a week, and I then find out that it was a completely different part of the car that needed fixed. Never going there again!

Have a very temperamental AUDI S6 with the V10 engine.
