The Owner and his Son-in-Law are great folks. Professional and fair priced. They got my truck back on the road and saved parts by fixing them instead of a more costly replacement. Very fair and honest

I been going to Hess garage for years, they are great people that do great work. And it's affordable, they really try to give you a good deal on pricing for the work they do.

Elvin and Calvin are awesome. This garage is a true gem. I would recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Hess' Garage. They have installed tires, performed alignments, inspections, and more complex work on all four of our vehicles. It is rare that you find a garage that treats you like family, probably better. They are honest, reliable, and extremely fair. Elvin and his staff are all very professional and courteous!!!! They are extremely honest and fast when it comes to working on your car. Elvin also has great pricing. If you are in need of a wonderful auto repair shop, stop at Hess Garage, you wont be disappointed!!!!!

Highly recommended! Elvin, he told me he could only estimate the price after he checked it first, very responsible and honest. He helped me replaced the rear wheel bearing for my 09 camry and totally solved the noise issue. And I only paid one-fourth of how much Toyota dealer asked for. Low price on parts, and he won't ask you to replace any parts you do not have to. BTW, he's busy and you better make an appointment 3-4 days ahead.

I just decided that I had to refute the unfortunate review below. Elvin...a grumpy old man??? Hess has worked on my vehicles for at least 15 years. Yes - sometimes they are slow, but I have never minded - and if you make a request to get your vehicle back at a specific time, it will happen. Why are they slow? Because if you are at the beginning or end of a month they are inundated with inspection work - from people that do like them. I have used this garage for all of my VWs (notorious for check engine light incidents), a Dodge Durango, and VWs belonging to both daughters. I do use a dealership if the repair is significant and I want a VW warranty, but other than that I use these people for everything - including about the best tire prices around if you need a new set!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

Super honest and helpful people. I had been previously taken advantage of at another garage, where they lied and tried to get me to pay money for useless fixes. I got a second opinion from these guys, for no cost. I don't know anything about cars and they could've said they would fix these ( not broken) things for cheaper if they wanted. But, he told me there was nothing wrong to fix. I have only gone back to their garage since. Fair prices and great service. Friendly staff.

I highly recommend Hess Garage for all of your auto-repair needs. Elvin built the garage from the ground up in the 1960's and has been running it ever since. The essence of a family owned business, Elvin has always provided me with high quality service at a great low price. Being able to trust your mechanic is huge, especially for a guy like me who doesn't know anything about cars. Elvin is an honest, hard working man that always aims to satisfy his customer. If you are looking for a mechanic in the area, you should make him your guy ASAP.

Hess Garage is a great group of people that always strive to do the best job in maintaining and repairing vehicles. Ive been going to them for years and i have never had an issue dealing with them, they are like a part of the family.

I m a college student and I ve never really dealt with my own car repairs before. Before I called this garage, I called a Honda dealership and they told me it would be $75 just for a diagnostic of the damages. My repairs from Hess (including labor and parts) ended up costing way less than that! I m really thankful I went there!

I called them, and they were nice enough to discuss my car's problem and stay on the line as they looked up the car and what the problem could be. I now have a better understanding of how to fix my belt squeal, and I very much appreciate their help!Update: I ended up tightening both belts on my '06 Sentra by hand, and voil� ! The screeching went away, and my car drives strong and smooth again. Thank you for the insight! This really seems to be a good autoshop that cares more about fixing the problem than taking your money.

My car has been here several times. This place is honest along with knowledgeable. They found a warranty I didn't even know I had to fix a very expensive part through my dealer. I never feel like they are trying to "nickel and dime" me and they definitely won't attempt to fix something they aren't equipt or familiar with. Wonderful place!

Took my Van to them for nearly 2 years along with my 2nd vehicle. They do offer some low prices but sometimes you do get what you pay for.My one vehicle passed inspection even though rear bulbs and some brake lights were out. And every oil change I requested my tires to be rotated, well it seems they either never did or failed to mention I may need to align them. After moving to overseas I had to change to winter tires and I find that I not only have horrible uneven wear on my tires but it seems they may never have been rotated.To top this they also charge you $2 or $3 every visit to top off your windshield washer fluid even if you don t need it. When washer fluid is a little over $1 at giant. It s a stupid way to nickel and dime you.

This is the type of garage that was in Jeepers Creepers and Joy Ride. It might be a good friends and family type of garage but to quote another movie they "Don't Take Kindly To Strangers" Old man is gruff and not interested in helping people. Not enough employees or lighting in their customer service area. Location could be good but you'd be wise to go elsewhere.

Hess garage is the only place I ever take my vehicles. The mechanics are friendly and honest. They always beat the price of competitors by a large percentage. I trust them fully!

Good local garage for misc repairs at reasonable prices. If you need minor repairs and don't want to go to the dealer give this place a try. The people are super friendly and honest. I would recommend this place.

I have been going to Hess garage for a little over a year. Everyone I have ever dealt with has been extremely nice/honest.If you go, you will most likely talk to Alvin. Alvin is one of the nicest/honest mechanics I have ever met.

Made a appointment for my car on a Friday it has been a week and a half and I still don't have my car, when they originally told me 3 to 4 days. Took it in for 2 things and they only did one of them in the first week. They then asked me to pick up my car and it had check engine light and would not drive more than ten feet. They never called to update me. Needless to say, still sitting here without a car.

Seemed like a nice group, but my car hot lost in the night time drop off shuffle. They remedy the concern by getting right on the needed repairs.
