Great shop one of the best in my opinion. Will be back there for more work. Communication was great and they let me know every step of the way. The truck went in looking the pictures and when I got back it look like nothing happened and the paint was a perfect match. Recently had my car worked on at the Body Shop, and was extremely pleased with the service and attention to detail. Casey was my contact, and he was great with communication, and upfront with everything going on. Much appreciated! Will definitely recommend them to friends! And will use them myself if needed in the future (although I hope not :) )

Everyone at Fred Beans CarStar was AMAZING! Heather kept me up to date on my repairs. Tonya was always more than willing to answer any questions I had. Heather and Greg went above and beyond to make sure my Lexus was repaired PROPERLY and THOROUGHLY. They handled all of the communication with my insurance company, and I had full confidence in them throughout the entire process. I m so grateful for everything they did, and they did it with patience, kindness and a smile every interaction I had with them! Thank you!

The whole experience with the crew at CarStar in Mechanicsburg was great!! Heather, Greg and everyone there did everything just right. The Explorer looked great after they fixed it!! The day I went to pick it up, the tire pressure sensors weren t working properly. They tried for a couple of hours to get it fixed and then Greg decided to get me a rental car at their expense and send me home till they got it fixed. That was a gesture that really said something to me!! Thanks to everyone there!!!!

They did a great job. I had quite a bit of front end damage and the car looks like new again. They kept updating me as repairs were progressing and car was delivered ahead of schedule looking brand new. They handled all communications with the insurance company making the whole thing seamless. Never a good thing when you have an accident but Fred Beans Carstar of Mechanicsburg made it completely painless and delivered my car looking like it had just left the showroom. Hope you don't have an accident but if you do take your car to them. Highly recommend

Just after seeing the reviews, i took my truck there unfortunately, my experience with them is so bitter because i went to pick up my truck after 3 months as per their due dates but the truck was exactly same as the first day it was towed beside tire. They are saying now the whole frame needs to be replaced which i was not informed 3 months ago. I don t think i can get my truck until 2025 ..::sorry but had really bad experience with them .:::

If it wasn't for the service manager Jason Kline, this would have been a 1 star review. I was having issues with the service and rep I received. I asked to speak to a manager. He listened to my concerns and was able to turn my entire experience around. I recommend everyone who goes there to deal with him. He wants to help.

This is the second time we had a family member take their car to CARSTAR for repairs and, once again, were completely satisfied with the job they did on our vehicle. We got updates on the service being done and were very pleased with the people there and their expertise.

Excellent experience! They hot done in half the time they estimated, did a fantastic job on thr car, sent me update texts throughout & gave me a coupon towards my deductible. Getting the rental car was seamless & the staff who helped me were so nice! A++ experience

This is my second time having my car in for collision work at CARSTAR Fred Beans. Nothing but exceptional service. My car was completed sooner than I thought ( 01/30/2024, instead of 02/09/2024 projected completion date ). They also took care of arranging for Enterprise to pick up my rental from the dealership, instead of me returning it to Enterprise. They made it so easy !! I appreciated that so much !!

Took my car to Car Star considering I got it from Fred Beans Kia, it was at the collision center for 3 weeks I will say communication during the first week was a bit slow but picked up afterwards. I started receiving text message updates the following week and received my car on the third week. My bumper was cracked and the windshield wiper reservoir had fallen out. When I picked up my car it looked brand new like nothing even happened and the gentleman Greg who explained everything to me was very patient and kind. I am happy to have my car back and I m happy with the repairs that the guys at the shop did.Service: Body & Trim

I was rear-ended in my 2023 Kia Sportage (which I bought from Fred Beans). I was very happy to learn that CARSTAR was on the approved list of repair shops. From 1st contact, to picking up my car, they were top notch! Heather kept me updated, the work was done in a timely manner, and they made the process in working with the other insurance company much easier. I highly recommend them! Thank you to all at CARSTAR for a smooth and painless and professional repair process!

I took my car, a 2024 toyota w major front and rear damage. They updated me weekly as my parts , repairs etc.were made, when I got my car back they explained everything in detail to me and I must say the car looks so good, I was honestly impressed. I'll go back in a heartbeat if needed, however I sure don't hope I have to! Lol. 2 accidents in a 8 day period is enough for me. !!.

I was an out of state customer - collision occurred while I was visiting PA. Everyone at CARSTAR was so understanding and helpful. They were always available to speak with and kept in constant contact. I can't recommend them highly enough if you are in need of their services. Also, their facility is top notch, employees very professional.

The repair work to my vehicle is absolutely satisfactory and I have zero complaints. What is unsatisfactory is the 1 month to get the car in. 32 days it took for them to repair. Mediocre customer service and the lack of proper diagnostic. Upon pickup I noticed the steering issues I had mentioned and were present, were not inventoried on the invoice so I refused to even so much as unlock my car. Long story short my car was taken to NTB who could do nothing, and then to an actual dealership who then found a worn tie rod that was replaced at my cost. The lack of expediency and lip service to me caused me to go 2 days over rental car allotment. An honest review is an honest review. I wouldn t ever take a car here again. I had taken the car 2 other places and gave the same descriptions for estimates. Really disappointing.

New truck was in the body shop for some dent repair.Was more than pleased with the quality of workmanship.Everyone at Fred Bean's was super helpful and courteous. Would definitely use their services again. Highly recommended.

I had great experience with Carstar from first day I dropped the car ,Heather was so so helpful explaining all details , I was constantly updated on the process and I didn t need to call them , the interesting part that my car was finished in short time way before the target date and on picking up day I appreciated Greg calling me to make sure I was consulted on decision making about some parts , Heather washed it , she drove right in front door, and they took care of my rental car !If I ever need to have my car fixed , God forbid !Carstar is the place to go

Our F150 truck was damaged when sheet metal at a shopping mall flew off the roof and hit many places on the front end of our truck. A big deep crack in the metal was a long the side the front window. The car was absolutely perfect when we picked it up. They even cleaned the inside and windows were clean. We would highly recommend if you are in need of any body work!

They did a wonderful job repairing my car. And the customer service is way above and beyond what I expected. The manager was absolutely fabulous, and the kindness and details continued on from the front desk through to the techs and detailer. Love these guys. I would highly recommend this place if you are in need of car repair.

Disappointed that in a subsequent review, an additional $2,700 was added to the estimate and the car was totaled. This action cost me $6,000. I guess Ford wanted to make a profit by selling it for parts. People were friendly.

Friendly, professional. Easy to reach and patient with all questions. My vehicle was cleaner when I got it back then it s been in quite some time!
