The automated phone system is a joke. I can t get through to a real person. Their online is also a joke. There s no way to contact anyone, or report an issue. Only had the service for a week, and they failed to deliver my 2nd trash can 3 times now. NOT a good sign for them being reliable so far at all. And of course, I can t get through to speak with a real person about this.EDIT: spoke with 3 separate people and it s been 3 weeks since my service started. I STILL ONLY HAVE ONE TRASH CAN. This company is a joke, and unreliable. I ll be canceling soon for literally anyone else.

Waste management has absolutely been the worst trash disposal company we have used. 5 mins ago the gentleman working emptied our can and then pushes it into the ditch. He see exactly what he did and yet he chose not to put it back where it was (properly on the curb). What if I was an elderly customer and was unable to get it out??? They have also broken our handle and cracked our can.The worst part is that we have gone 3 weeks once without trash pickup. This past year we have had it maybe 10 times where they make up wait 2 weeks to get the trash picked up. They say leave all the bag and we will pick them all up . Well that s nice until you are recovering from a c-section & our picking up trash on the road, in the ditch, in neighbors yards etc. because the crows/animals tore the bags open. This would have been avoided if they came weekly to get the trash & the bags wouldn t been to be outside the can! It took me 45 mins to clean up all the trash that was torn up all over.Yet, several of the neighbors have Tri County and NO issues!!! Cheaper too! We will be switching

We are paid up until December 20th 2023 waste management miss picking up our trash 2 weeks in a row I tried calling them I was on hold for 8 minutes and it c ut me off ? There service is awful we pay $136 every 3 months I think they should come right back out to pick up if they missed our garbage they went by here twice without picking up our trash ? If anyone asked me if there any good trust me I'm going to say no its bullcrap now we will behind 2 weeks of garbage .

I ve had there service since August. It took over a month and multiple phone calls to get a can delivered. Then I had to call every week for over a month for them to come pick my trash up. They have not pick my trash up more than they have. As soon as I find another service that will come to where I m at, I am switching. I pay too much for subpar service.Service: Trash removal & disposal

These garbage men are trash!!If the bin is not closed flat, they remove bags, tossing them aside aimlessly so that the bags tear and leave articles across the driveway. They then take what is left of the bin and leave the mess.Pathetically unprofessional and unacceptable service.Just because you re garbage men does not mean you get to act like garbage humans.

If your dumpster lid isn t completely shut flat at pickup, they charge you an extra $175 in an overage fee (this is apparently hidden in your contract) regardless of the size of your dumpster. When you call to discuss, they ll offer to cut that fee in half, only if you extend your contract. How is this is not illegal?? My recommendation is to go with Tri-County or another refuse pickup if you can.

Worst experience I ve ever had in my life! Had them for 5 years and they always increased the bill. Paying more a month for the garbage can then you can get for a whole quarter threw raccoon refuse! Canceled before the next quarter and they are still trying to send us bills to pay for the following quarter. Charge 75$ to just pickup their own trash can that you pay for every month! Never picked up our trash several times and blatantly lied about why. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Service: House & garage cleanouts

We've had an account for 5 years with Waste Management. We've had autopay set up from day-one. My husband was stationed out of state and we were renting our home in PA, so we wanted to ensure the bills were paid regardless of our location or circumstances. Our payment methods and contact information were always kept up-to-date.- We've had routine occasions where the trash was not picked up despite repeated calls to confirm our address and account information.- Their automated system still doesn't have our zip code listed as a serviced area, despite the fact that it's been 5 years since we initiated the account.- **Recently, (which is the reason I'm posting this information at this point), I received a call from collections because a payment declined on our account for $123.I gathered the collection agency information so I could follow up with them after I spoke to Waste Management, and I provided them with the payment confirmation number subsequent to processing our payment through Waste Management.I was told by Waste Management that calling a customer is "considered a courtesy, and we don't do that, we forwarded an email." They sent the email to an inactive email account and I called them 2 years and updated our contact information. I receive my electronic bill to my current email account, so I'm honestly not sure how or why the old email is on file still or being used.It takes more effort to process an order for collections, than it does to make a phone call to a customer to resolve a payment issue. We have autopay through a credit card and pay the credit card off monthly, to build credit and also to ensure our accountability and their convenience regarding payments. (Because my husband has been stationed out of state for the duration that we've owned the home in PA.)It shouldn't be courtesy to contact a customer directly, it's just proper account management and accountability to your customers. Being sent to collections affects your credit of course, which is also unfortunate.We've been loyal customers for 5 years, have tolerated some of the previous issues that have arisen, and do our best to ensure our bill is always paid in full and on time, and all of our payment and contact information is up-to-date on the account.When I contacted Waste Management to process the outstanding payment, I also canceled our account. The conflict was unnecessary and if Waste Management would have provided us with the same level of accountability that we provide for them, there would have been no issue.

The recycling center in my area closed. When I called Waste Management to ask if they had recycling services they said they did but not for my area. I had to switch to another company in order to continue to recycle and when I called Waste Management to cancel my services, they said they would not be able to refund any of my money that I have already paid (I made a payment for 3 months of service in December so I was only 1/3 of the way through the billing cycle). After talking to a representative and 3 "supervisors" the company kept saying they could not do anything and would not refund the remainder of my money. So they stole my money for two months of a service they are no longer providing.

Horrible service. Pay quarterly for the drivers to lie and say they cant get to address because of weather. 3 weeks now no pick up. Are road is clear . Charge me money but miss our service pick up 12 times per year. Spoke to 2 supervisors who guaranteed me pick up on week 3 of no shows. We live a half a mile from a state rd which is kept clear in winter weather . Was guaranteed rerouting of driver by the next day. Call them back today cause of another no show and driver stated he could not pick up due to weather ridiculous. No new snow roads are clear back road I'm on salted and plowed. Could be I'm the only house on the road who gets their service and drivers are lazy. They lie and management doesbt question them. But miss my bill by a day I'm charged 50 dollars to resume service what about the 12 times a yr. U dont show up. How about credit !!!!!!!! So now week four of this incompetent company to wait and see if they will show. If I could do a lower rating I would have. Bye bye waste management.!!!!!!!! Thieves.... I've never been so disgusted by a Co. At least they are in the correct business cause they are Garbage.!!!!!!!!!!

I give them a zero! For one month I tried to sign up to get a dumpster for different times I had called them because for different times I did not receive my dumpster on the fourth time she said I ve never asked for a dumpster in my account was suspended January 29 I said how come I can t be suspended when I never had an account. The reality is is they were trying to charge me for a service for a month and I never got my dumpster so I told her to erase that bill for me because I still not got a dumpster and if they could send one I d appreciate it. But instead this is been in my account making it look like I was some type of nonpayment and never even gave me a dumpster and even though I tried to explain this to the lady on the phone I got absolutely nowhere she tried to make me feel bad and anybody I have to ask for times for a dumpster over a course of a month I don t Care to give my service too. This is awful that you have to follow up on something for times and still not get results to get some nasty person

They have consistently not picked up our garbage on time. Whether we do auto pay or not there always seems to be an issue. I have called countless times to remind them that they need to pick up our garbage when they forget. I m not one for leaving bad reviews but after so many times it s very hard not to.

My landlord pays the bills. I'm happy they charge for collection of things that shouldn't be thrown away. There recycling program seems ok, although I'd like to see accountability. Making sure things are being recycled, not just collected, then thrown away, or burned, etc. Too bad there isn't a composting collection like they do in many other areas. It's there a better way to promote, collect, and store recyclables? They're a valuable resource that can be stored for years, to be used again, without the consequences of a, "raw", product. You'd think it would be profitable to store recyclables, just like it's profitable to store other resources . . . . .

Claim to have a 99.9% pickup accuracy but haven t picked up in 3 weeks. With emails and calls they say we will dispatch a pickup yet I still have a can full of garbage at the end of my drive. Most recent excuse? Your address isn t marked on your can . Excuse me? It s a waste management can, on your route, with YOUR numbers on the can, and we have been customers for 5 YEARS. Ridiculous.

The drivers and people who do the actual work are terrible. Our dumpster goes over a month without being emptied. We pay for a service and Waste Management does not come through on their end. Despicable. Customer service is helpful.

Just got a shut off notice today but my bill isnt due till end of march i still have almost a week. i also have a late fee!? I dont do my bills on the internet and ive stated this multiple times. I told them i need bills in my mail box and will send a check out. Now i dont get ANY bills but an email for a notice saying i cant contact them until its paid in full.

Don t go with them! Never got container or pick-up and cancelled after 2 weeks. NOW, they have the NERVE to charge me $50.00 for set up fees and gas!!!! Liars and cheaters. Worst mistake of my life!!!!

Our trash service was taken over by waste management and immediately our fees went up and the quality of our service went way down. Our driver is arrogant and rude and the company's so-called customer service is a joke.Service: Trash removal & disposalService: Trash removal & disposal

I think there should be more options. And those options should be less cost.But I will say the billing people are very very friendly. And willing to work with the customers. Thank you
