This is only my second time bringing my car to Halye's, but I seriously cannot recommend them enough. I'm new-ish to the area and finding a new reliable mechanic is about the hardest thing on the planet. They've been nothing but honest and transparent with me in the time I've been taking my vehicle there. Staff is incredibly friendly as well which is another plus :)

Diagnosed 2 problems with my car and was able to fix it in a day. Went on a long trip on the weekend and car drove flawlessly! Also, very reasonably priced. It's a keeper!

I took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to Hayles auto to have a tuneup done and a transmission flush and filter change. From the time I emailed them asking for a quote they were quick to respond and actually be a quote I had from two other shops by $250 bucks. They did a great job of doing the work on my jeep and were quick to let me know as soon as it was done for me to pick it up. When I got home I noticed that there was some oil on the bottom of the transmission pan so I called them up right away and told them about it they had me bring it back immediately and took me right in to get it corrected. There was absolutely nothing wrong that they did it was just some residual oil that was left on one of the braces underneath the jeep. I make mention of this to let people know that this is a company that truly stands by their work because they had me bring it right back and they took me right in and got the jeep cleaned up for me. I will definitely be looking to them for more mechanical work on my vehicles. Tune up and transmission fluid and filter change was $471 grey price.

Honest and honorable mechanic! Rob, is a competent subject matter expert on automobile repairs and upgrades. Takes great care of your asset. He runs a great shop! Highly recommend!

Rob nailed it with a tire and wheel upgrade for my F150. The first set was more aggressive than I wanted (my fault). Rob exchanged them at his cost for a set that performs well and rides even nicer. I use them for all of my vehicle repairs, and I have had quite a few the last two years. Their honesty knows no bounds. They will tell you what is wrong and fix it asap. I had a wheel bearing on my left front go. My right front went a week or two later, and they fixed it for free. I really trust them. If you have a problem, they will do their honest best to fix it right the first time.

Honest, experienced, trustworthy and fair. All the amazing traits you'll find here. All (3) of my cars have been serviced here over the last 8-years. Ive been so lucky to have them fix a dealership mess up for minimal cost. Pricing couldn't be better. Valued customer for life. It's a popular place so scheduling is tough - so plan ahead!

They provide quality work that you can rely on. I would not hesitate to take my car there or recommend them. They have done excellent work on my vehicles and are helpful, friendly, and courteous. I know when I take my car there that is being fixed correctly and for an affordable price. They are absolutely wonderful.

Girl on the phone is super friendly. They're timely and professional. Also, the one mechanic is very helpful and has a good sense of humor. I haven't taken my car anywhere else but Halye's since moving here in Jan of 2014.

I have gone here for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Rob Hayle and his team do a tremendous job in their vehicle repairs as well as their customer service. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good, genuine mechanic that charges a fair price for their work. I will continue to go here as long as they are around and I have vehicles.

Halye's Automotive in Maxatawny is a honest repair center! Rob is very knowledgeable and helpful and very honest. He will not rip you off! He tells you what he finds needs to be done no up selling. His prices are fair and reasonable. He has worked on my car and my mother's car for years now and we would go to no other mechanic, and he is not right around the corner from us either. We just feel it pays to go a little farther to get great service. And did I mention he is honest and fair! Check them out you won't be sorry you did. Oh yeah one last thing his inspections are only $32.95 for it all!

Honest service and fair pricing. We take our larger vehicles here for inspection (since 2014) and never had a problem. The parking lot is usually a little crowded and that is the only drawback we have found.

This is my second time using this garage, they're easy to work with and they've gotten my work done in a timely manner. I normally do all my own mechanic work, and I think I found a new garage to do my work for me! I would recommend them to work on any of your vehicles. My husband and I have been talking our vehicles to Halye's for about 8 or 9 years. They are always thorough, friendly, and their prices are fair. They make sure you understand what the issues are with your vehicle and only recommend what is really needed. What more could you ask for! We wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else.

I have been taking multiple family cars to Hayle's for about 9 years. Mainly because he's honest with his assessments and he stands by his work. Today he blew me away with his service! He went way above the call of duty. AND for those who know a little bit about cars will appreciate this one! I called him up this morning to explain the problem I had found with my wife's car and knew what was wrong and the part needed to fix it (typically at this point, I'd do it myself). Where this part was located, it was difficult to get too and this was a repair that really couldn't wait. I asked him if I could bring it in to look at it, just confirm I was correct in my assessment so he could order the part and I'd bring it back for him to fix. (NOTE: This was scheduled at 3:00 PM) However, when I brought it in, he recommended that I NOT drive my car AND offered to drive me home. Halye's not only managed to get the needed part that afternoon, I also received a call at 5:20 PM that it was all done and I could come pick it up. Not only was I floored that it was done in less than 2 hours (it was about 3:30 before I got home), it was also 1/3 the cost of the dealership to repair!!!! Thanks Halye's for your years of service!!! I AM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Very honest and knew what they were doing. Took our truck in for a simple tire pressure light and they went above and beyond to check the entire vehicle out with some of the other concerns we had since we just bought the vehicle. They did perform some other routine maintenance after seeing some minor issues that needed to be addressed. Would use them for any service work though for sure.

I got a flat tire on my way home. I called them and they took me in right away. They plugged the tire and I was back on my way in less than half an hour. Excellent service and very reasonably priced.

Rob an his crew have been keeping me on the road for over 10 years. I drive for a living so my car is my life. In those years when he can he s squeezed me in and even stayed late to get me back on the road. He s always been reliable and backs up his work.I won t go anywhere else.If you re looking for a honest, reliable mechanic he is it.

Very Dishonest. Had Exhaust work done for inspection, Cut a hole in my flex pipe and completely denied doing it. I was standing with the shop owner looking at the hole feeling and hearing the leak and he Lied to my face and said there is no leak even though the leak was very obvious. You could even see that it was a fresh cut, no rust or corrosion on the exposed metal.I am very disappointed, They were recommended to me by a trusted person. I know my vehicle and have spent many hours on it my self and know it was not like that. I really thought they were a good respectable business with integrity. Lesson Learned

Halye's is one of the few honest shops left around. We take all of our cars there. They're a trustworthy shop with fair prices. I'll never go anywhere else for service or inspection. Thanks Rob!

Their work is excellent reasonable prices most cleanest garage I ever seen, take all my cars there and always will, if you haven't been there already and you had other mechanics that disappoint you this place won't disappoint you ,they're amazing people and the workmanship is top grade

Everyone is always nice. The employees treat me like I'm important and take the time to explain what is wrong with my car. I feel confident with my repairs and if I'm not satisfied they make it right.

We brought our Mazda cx5 in to be looked at. We explained there was a noise and problem with the engine, and we needed the normal inspections done. We were assured the noise was a low level of oil and all was fine. Recently we found out the entire engine is gone and it needs a whole new engine. I am curious if Halye's even inspected the vehicle correctly or just took a shot in the dark. Personally after having taken several vehicles here over the years I will not be returning here for any future service. please do yourself a favor and get another opinion or make sure they actually follow thru with your vehicle.edit to add... also make sure they give you all paperwork and not just a verbal it is all taken care of and a credit card receipt.

STAY AWAY from these CROOKS! My radiator went and i had it towed here. They told me I would need a radiator, a fan, and the lower radiator support because it was supposedly "bent up and into the vehicle". Quoted me over $1000. They told me i must have been in an accident and when I told them i hadn't been, they called me a liar. I knew something was up so I had my car towed to Sterner's nearby. Sterner's replaced my radiator and only my radiator. The car works fine now, passes inspection, and there is still no damage to the lower radiator support. I guess they hadn't counted on me getting a second opinion. Disgraceful.
