I chose this hotel to rest up after a day of hiking, and it was just right. Great location! My room was comfy and clean. My only issue was the industrial strength door closer that slams every door shut with a loud bang. The staff were all delightful!!Pool was quite nice, but perhaps a little chilly.I always look forward to free hotel breakfast, and this one was just ok. Kinda bland. Definitely not all that into French toast strips . The waffles are pretty great. And the fireplace is a great touch.I d recommend this hotel for travelers of all types.

TL;DR The hotel charged me incorrectly, managers refused to speak to me to help resolve the issue, and it took two weeks and hours of my time to get a refund. My family stopped when we got stuck in a snowstorm overnight. I booked a room online through my credit card company. The room was pretty clean except for a used sanitary pad in the bathroom trash can (ew), but definitely on the shabby side. The issues happened when we were checking out. I had been charged by the hotel for my room, as well as by the company I had booked with. The girl at the front desk understood the issue but absolutely refused to attempt to do anything about it or leave my info for a manager who could (it was before 5am when we left).I had to call the hotel 3 times over the course of two days to try to right the double charges, or at least get a receipt from the hotel for the room charge so that I could prove the double charge to my credit card company. Each time I was assured a manager would call me back so I could explain the issue and get to the bottom of it; the third or fourth time I called I was very insistent that I was not hanging up without speaking to a manager, and suddenly the manager had an emergency and had to leave the building per the front desk staff. I was called back later that day and told that a different manager had looked at the issue and refunded me the extra charge. The refund sat pending on my card for several days and then was, I presume, cancelled by the hotel- it never went through. I had to email the hotel and the third party booking service with all my receipts and explanation of the situation the next week in order to get a refund- which I would have been happy to do in the first place, had any manager been willing to speak with me and attempt to help me resolve the situation. It was clearly an issue on their part and they, the customer service provider, could have saved me so much time by providing customer service to me appropriately.

What a nice little hotel. The best asset is the beautiful breakfast area that's just begging you to come sit by the fire and enjoy the nice tables. The building was nice, the area was nice, the rooms were great. Clean. Could have used a bigger TV and a little bit better Wi-Fi, but the front desk reassured me that those updates were coming soon with the new renovations. The breakfast was everything you would want in a hotel breakfast. Nobody left, hungry or without something they could enjoy. The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. Very welcoming. The warm cookies at check in were a nice touch as well.Rooms: Very nice beds and spaces. 32" tv small but does the job.

Absolute treat. Clean, quiet, ample parking even for those with trailers/rvs.The room was clean, in good repair. The pool was clean. The breakfast was far superior to ALL the other hotels/ motels we have stayed at. No bacon but had real pork sausage so still no complaints.I highly recommend this location. When we arrived, a few guests were enjoying a tailgate party. Not something you see every day. Most won't allow it for insurance reasons.

The rooms are nice enough. The shampoo and conditioner aren't the best quality, but there are large containers of them attached to the wall.TVs are fine, could be bigger, and the cable is a little confusing, but it's all good enough. If you have a fire or Roku stick, you can use them, but you will have to unplug the cable first. Only one USB.The pool is nice, but it's a little cold for my liking.Breakfast is good. Good selection. One time had bacon another time had turkey sausage. They switch things up.Food & drinks: Complementary breakfast is good.No restaurant or bar in this hotel, but there is one in the best western across the parking lot. They're owned by the same person. Restaurant/bar is named Mr. Shanes. You can Google it and the menu. Good food.

Had an ok stay.. decent breakfast and clean hallways, pool and nice fitness room. However rooms are dated and not properly cleaned with dusty corners, Rooms need to be updated with new furnishings and linens. Missing details like notepads, pens or laundry bags in the room.

This was my favorite Hampton Inn on the East Coast. The young lady that was at the desk named Grace was totally useless and unhelpful and unaware. Our room was noisy. Went for breakfast at 9am on Sunday and the breakfast was empty and no sign of any staff. We went to Perkins next door instead.I asked the young lady Grace if there was new management and she said yes a couple of months ago. Believe me you can tell. We have stayed there at least 10 times and will not be any longer. Hilton should do more vetting when they allow new owners. Hopefully they will not go the way of Days Inns.

We spent one night here as part of a family road trip. The rooms were clean, the service friendly, and the breakfast filling. We greatly appreciated the fact that the refrigerator in our room actually had a small freezer. This is a somewhat rare commodity that's difficult to research ahead and yet greatly appreciated by those of us looking to refreeze cooler ice packs.

Let me tell you about this place. We come up from the city to see relatives over the holidays. We reserved a room and go to check in. (Now mind you, this is after a 3-4 hour car ride.) We arrive at 12:20pm and want to check in. HERE'S THE KICKER- "OH Yes, your room is ready, HOWEVER check-in isn't until 3:30. So if you want to check in early it will cost you an EXTRA 20 dollars an hour or any portion of an hour until check-in time. And don't forget the parking fee. Told tjto forget it and walked accross the parking lot to the Best Western.

Looks nice but beware, the walls are so thin I am currently writing this while being kept awake by the neighboring rooms snoring. The room was relatively clean, however there was a charger still plugged in the wall and I'm a little sceptical about the beds being changed. If you cannot sleep through loud noise do not stay here, you can hear the people upstairs walking...it sounds like a heard or water Buffalo and the walls are so thin you get to hear whatever your neighbors are up to.Also if the power goes out be prepared to be in total darkness. This hotel was a giant let down as I was unable to sleep for the nights I was here due to the pounding coming from above and the fact that the person snoring in the other room could be heard as clearly as if I was sharing a bed with them.Unless you are an extremely heavy sleeper book elsewhereNoteworthy details: Thin walls

I booked a king room as I was avoiding the snow storm and needed to be close to work. I was given a double, no biggie they moved me. Then the TV did not work after waiting 2 hours for assistance they sent a laundry attendant to fix the issue, he could not. They gave me another room I walk in and it s absolutely freezing!!! I finally speak to the manager, we go back to the other room she fixes the television and gives me extra pillows and snacks. (Nice lady very nice). But after a long day and next to 3 hours in the hotel without being able to just get comfortable and relax I am definitely not going to be staying again! I should ve been comped. I will not recommend.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the breakfast staff was exceptional. When we requested new sheets the night desk person brought them immediately. Our only issue was that the sheets on our bed had not been changed - evident by a wadded up tissue in the bed. We were told that the manager would speak to us about the issue but no one ever did.

Beware of this hotel!I was here for a 7 day stay and on day 2-3 developed a rash on my chest which was a bed bug rash. I am a physician so I know what it looks like.I reported it to the staff and they changed my room and then my rash stopped expanding like the way it did in the first 2-3 days.No one compensated me. I had to use steroidal creams and experience extreme pain and itchiness. No one from the Hilton team cared either.Very very sad how inhumane they were, by overall denying my condition altogether.Stay there at your own risk!

I utilized the digital app to check in and was charged a $55 early check in fee yet Hampton/Hilton clearly states you can check in via the app and choose your room up to 24 hours prior to your stay. There is no fee to do that. However the manager (who sounded half asleep when she answered the phone begrudgingly) charges you a fee to use an app and then refuses to refund it when caught. Even the front desk girl said shed transfer me to the manager, but that she tells everyone no to a refund of this made up fee. Just so unprofessional. That its a new policy lol nowhere on their website or the app or my confirmation email is there any mention of being charged a $55 fee to check in on a FREE app. Why would anyone pay $55 to arrive at a hotel after local check in time. I assume shes somehow pocketing the money or benefiting in some way from it.Beware staying here. I had to escalate it to corporate to get a refund. Just shameful. I have stayed here many times as I have family in the area but will choose to utilize a small business hotel instead that doesnt engage in fraud. The hotel is dated as well for what they charge per night. Shower in bathroom didnt look like it was clean. Fridge really didnt cool much of anything in it. Broken vending machine. The snack machine barely had anything in it. They almost had a fire because of someone burning food in their room and then had to smell burnt food the entire first night cause of it. Also was evacuated over an hour because of that as well.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Check in process was seamless at the front desk and got a room on the 4th floor. This complex has a Hampton Inn and a Best Western. I ve stayed at both and they re both average.Cons: No daily housekeeping here during our stay. There was hair in the shower from a previous guest. Bedsheet has a stain (have a feeling they didn t change the bedsheets). The mini fridge has a freezer section and there was mold. The fridge also makes a loud noise so that was annoying at night. The remote/tv was glitchy and the channels wouldn t change with the remote. Coffee station in the lobby wasn t refilled.Pros: Plenty of parking. Breakfast had 2 waffle makers with 2 flavors.

We really like this place and have stayed there several times while traveling through the area. The rooms are clean and the breakfasts are great as are the rates. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because although most of the staff were amazing, two of the front desk staff working together were not very nice. Upon check in the woman at the desk was great though as was the man who was decorating the entry. The ladies running the breakfast were awesome as well.

Stayed there last week on the way to Florida for the holidays and was extremely impressed. Hilton needs to send all their franchise owners to this location to see how a Hampton Inn should be operated. I stay in hotels all over the country every month and this was one of my favorite stays in a long while. Room was excellent, check in was excellent, breakfast was excellent. The owner should be very proud of his hotel.

Great location for hiking. Nearby Milford town for dining. Overall I d go back. Just a little pricy for 1 night but then again everything is pricy these days.Nearby activities: Perfect place to stay if you pan on hiking the weekend. Dingmans Falls and Raymondskill Falls were a great day hike.
