My wife and I have been using Rick s auto for the past few years now. It s not always easy to find a good trust worthy honest mechanic which is exactly what you get from them. We recently moved an hour away and still currently use them for all of our service needs. I highly would and have recommend using ricks auto.

I was very impressed we only take our cars to the dealer. When we spoke with family and friends about the price the dealer wanted to charge us . My nephew said go to Rick s Auto Repair His mother in law had A great experience. When I met Rick, I was blown away by his own honesty, and his ability to explain everything that was wrong, and not give me the runaround about the price. When he finished it was actually less than what he quoted. I was amazed Our. Highly recommend Rick Auto to anyone I won t even take my car back to the dealer now I trust wrecked that much . Great Job Rick

My son and I stopped by this place to get his tire fixed today. I gave this place 2 stars because of the bad customer service. When you feel like you should have given another place your money instead of where you actually went is when you know the customer service is bad. As soon as we arrived the guy was very dismissive and short. It takes 15 minutes to change a tire. I asked how long and he said an hour, so my son and I walked home just for him to call me right back to come back and get the vehicle. We were not offered to sit in the waiting room before we left. We felt more like we were getting on the guys nerve. I would never take a car here again even if I was riding on the rim. Customer service is 50% of your business.

Great Shop. Better pricing than taking your vehicle to a dealer for service.A knowledgeable person answers the phone when you call. Been taking my truck to them for a few years now and I m very happy with the quality of the work. I see the local police department taking their cars there for repair also, that gives me a lot of confidence in the shop.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

Shout Out to Bill and his crew. My simple review is "These Guys Will Fix Your Car!!!" Now I could go into the entire story as to why I brought my car in but you don't need that to know that. What you need to know is my issue was diagnosed, I was consulted on the repair and then IT WAS FIXED!!! If you have an auto problem or if you just need an oil change take take your car to Rick's. "These Guys Will Fix Your Car!!!"

I have been traveling down from Media to Ricks in Marcus Hook for the last 5+ years for the general maintenance, inspections and all in between for my 2016 Santa Fe. The extra 10 minute drive saves me frustration because Billy & his team are the most trust worthy mechanics (and possibly have the cleanest garage EVER). The extra 10 minutes saves me $$$$ because Billy chooses to not up charge his clients or find issues just to take advantageMost recently, the extra 10 minutes saved me $8k & won me a new engine which I will be FOREVER grateful.I took my car into Billy for my yearly inspection & inquired about a sound I was hearing. After a initial diagnosis Billy found there was something seriously wrong with my engine. Instead of writing me a bill to fix it himself he walked me through and supported me through-out the warranty process with Hyundai.What many car owners do not know is that you need to track all your oil changes and work you have done to your car to prove you didn t void your 10 year /100,000 mile warranty. There is a tremendous approval process to get your new engine. Billy helped me ask the right questions, prepare my answers and any paperwork I was missing he had it in his system.Having a mechanic is just as important as a personal general practitioner for yourself!!! I've been to Rick's Auto Repair a few times within the last couple years. I've gotten my inspection done here, oil changes, and tire service. Each visit has been an experience with helpful and friendly staff.Most importantly, the service is honest and upfront.I just got the tires on my 2014 Mustang changed with them 1.5 months ago. Had a situation today where I drove over a metal shard and got a flat tire. I called Rick's from work and they told me to come in on the same day, just call ahead when I was ready to head their way. They had plugged my tire and sent me on my way within 10-15 minutes. Absolutely amazing.I had been searching for a reliable repair shop for years after realizing how terrible it is dealing with dealerships. I m not one to take the time out to write a review. However, this was the first time that I received customer service from an auto repair shop that was exemplary! Today, I received service for a state inspection & emissions test. Not only did I receive great service, I noticed that each and every customer that entered the shop did as well. It seems that the shop doesn t play when it comes to time management. Everything seemed so smooth in terms of customers picking up and dropping off their cars for service. Although, I decided to wait, it didn t feel long at all. I also noticed the sign inside of the repair shop was for winning an award for the best shop in the neighborhood and today I got the opportunity to see why. Sometimes, the little things such as a warm welcome and smiling face is what matters to the community. Thank you! You will see me again soon for an oil change.

Ricks is a diamond in the rough. At a time when I thought I d have to put a bullet into my bimmer and put it out to pasture, Steve at Ricks resurrected it and got me rolling again. 222,000 miles and with Steve, I m certain I ll turn the odometer over like Al Bundy. I have confidence in Ricks because their workmanship shines!! I can t say enough. Ricks is my goto and Steve is my guy!! Took my car to Rick s Auto with a cracked exhaust pipe and new brakes. Bill and his crew fixed my car in a timely manner at a great price. They are professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Billy is great! He is honest and reliable. I take my vehicle to him for regular maintenance. He lets me know if something will need attention in the future so I can plan for it. I use him for all of our company vehicles too. Recently, my vehicle was towed to him because the battery died and was completely drained. He ran a diagnostic; and it turned out the part that caused the issue was covered under warranty. He let me know, and I took my vehicle to a dealership. It was fixed and didn't cost anything. He really takes care of his customers!

I m in an unusual situation as my Father passed away and I need to get his car inspected in Pennsylvania, despite the fact that I live in another state. I went to Rick s because they were the closest place to me. I was very impressed with how they worked with me to schedule an appointment. They typically don t take appointments later in the day, but because of how far I was driving they worked with me They had me call before I left to make sure that they weren t too busy, they fit me in, they inspected the car quickly, and even recommended a great place to eat while I waited. I ve never had them fix anything on the vehicle, but seeing how they treated me and hearing how they talk to other customers you could just tell this is a reputable place.

Overall, I dont normally write reviews, but people should know. Honestly, I'll never be coming back here. The people who work here are hypocrites and rude. Because I got my brakes done somewhere else, the mechanic got upset and kept giving me attitude, saying that I am instead. He said oh yeah we care about you and are trying to help, right after he said that he doesn't care about me or anything, etc. I'm sooooo sorry you missed out on a $400 repair. So you give me attitude and blame me that I am? Lol yeah okay. Y'all lost a customer from the shotty, disappointing, and upsetting customer service I got. Not to mention, the part I came in for isn't even in the shop yet? My car is ready but the parts aren't? Why did I even schedule this appointment anyways if yall don't even have the parts in? Honestly, ridiculous. It really doesn't seem like they care, besides their next sale of course. They're your friends until you go somewhere else for work. Then they're just rude and awful. Had a nail in tire, was working in area, so stopped by on lunch hoping they could plug it up real quick. Even though Billy was busy, he was kind enough to fix tire so I wouldn't have any problems. Highly recommend, very nice guys and they take care of their customers.

Billy and Steve are very professional and well versed in automotive repair. I came just for inspection. They did a thorough inspection of my vehicle. Topped off liquids, checked my battery, etc. we ll be taking all our vehicles here from now on! Highly recommend.

Switched mechanic shops and I wish I had switched to Rick's auto sooner. Billy runs a great shop, great service and great prices. I truly trust his opinion and value the service he gives me to keep my vehicles in top shape. I highly recommend. Rick's auto is a great place to do business with. They treat you fair and get the job done on time for a great price.

Top notch service from a top notch team. Very reasonable and never had an issue with any repairs. I don't often write reviews, but the guys at Rick's are top notch. I can honestly say that the only reason my SUV is still running at 150k miles without a heavy overhaul is because of Rick's. Billy and his guys consistently handle whatever issues come up with our vehicles in a timely and professional manner. From an oil change to a major component failure, they do it all, without any markups or mechanic run-around. I can't recommend Rick's highly enough for whatever service you may need.

Absolute rock stars. Ended up with an emissions and check engine light issue after spending a lot on other repairs... They worked with me for weeks and got the emissions to pass inspection. Saved me over $1000. These guys are the real deal! Dedicated to their customers and do quality work. Won't be going anywhere else. :)

Billy runs a great shop- keeping the customer up to speed on what needs to be done. Excellent customer service, fair pricing, and efficient. Exactly what you want out f your mechanic. I can refer family to him and know they will be treated fairly.

Great business. Garage is immaculate, employees are very friendly, also they are very honest with what needs to be done work wise and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them if you're looking for a good honest,mechanic .

You won't find a better place to take your cars. Billy cares about his customers and his employees. It shows in the quality of work they do. Great team of guys, I dont trust anyone else to touch my car!

I have a 20 year old Honda CR-V and my mechanic Steve is always upfront about my repairs/maintenance. The Honda dealership I was frequenting before was charging me $450 Rick s Auto charged me $200. Excellent price and service!

I contacted this shop very last minute asking for a pre-purchase inspection and they said they'll take care me with out a question. Even though the shop was almost closing they were very thorough with the inspection. They took it for a long test drive and did an extensive inspection of the vehicle on the lift. They gave me recommendations and charged me a very reasonable price. This is a great place and I would recommend them to anyone.

After having an electrical issue with my Volkswagen Passat which prevented my car from starting; i was having trouble finding mechanics in the area that could work on German vehicles let alone a vehicle electrical issue. Finally at my wits end i posted in a facebook group and Bill contacted me. I had my car towed in around 12:30 pm and my car was fixed by 4:00 pm. The work performed was completed with the utmost speed and quality and a detailed report was provided to show exactly what was done. I had expected the repair to cost between $500 and $1000 due to the nature of the problem and amount of diagnostics and trouble shooting that would need to be done; but was pleasantly surprised the total with towing came in under $200. I highly recommend Ricks Auto to anyone looking for a quality mechanic and especially those who have German automobiles (VW, Audi, and BMW) which i am sure understand how difficult it can be to find a trusted mechanic who is willing to work on their vehicle (other than the dealer). And thank you again Rick s for the awesome job!!!
