Definitely the most kind, amazing & hard working dealership we've ever worked with. They worked very hard to get us a car that wasn't an over aboundance in price. They stayed open late for us to finish paperwork. We've only had it for about 3-4 weeks and had a issue come up and they took care of it for us right away and didn't cost us a thing. We can't recommend the dealership enough. Thank u so much to all who was involved, y'all are amazing.

This dealership sells cars that need work. Tom sold me a vehicle that broke down the next day. I called and was told it was as is and when i asked to speak to a superior i was yelled at and hung up on. These good reviews are fake trust me do not waste money!!!

If I could give a zero rating, I would. I purchased an Audi at Ellis in 2018. It started using up oil. The dealership took the car for service several times for a total of 30 days, refused to offer a car to drive. They replaced the motor, but it continued to leak oil. When I decided I needed to trade it, they were difficult to work with and I ended up with a Volkswagen that leaks constantly from the roof. This place sells defective vehicles and offers no customer service at all. I will never go there to buy another vehicle.

I just bought a car from Ellis Automotive and aside from a compromise I personally chose to make on color...there was no compromise. That was the best car buying experience I have ever had and I have owned 7 cars over the last 35 yrs. I shopped online, reviewed at least 100 cars and found what I wanted (minus the color of course). I also reviewed the dealerships, if I was going to drive just under 2 hrs for a car I knew I didn't want to deal with knuckleheads. No worry here. They were phenomenal. Guy, was my first point of contact when I called to make sure they still had the car. He had it waiting by the front door for my test drive. Tom, the sales manager was next, from the moment we sat down to discuss my car and trade-in value we were on the same page. Granted I did my due diligence and came in prepared, but as business deals go it was relaxed, smooth and enjoyable. If you are looking to buy a car check them out...Ellis Automotive...tell 'em Kate sent ya!

I bought my Suzuki Kizashi from this dealership. Tom (Sales Manager) did a nice job, and was friendly and responsive. The car was in excellent mechanical condition, but has a few more cosmetic issues than advertised. The only disappointment I had was with the second key fob. We agreed that the dealership would provide a second fob to compensate for the cosmetic scrapes, and they did, but they didn't program it so it's useless.

Many many dealers and private sellers later, I heard about this place. Checked it out and ended up leaving with keys to a 2015 ram 1500 with 44k miles. This place couldn't be beat when it came to price, and what "visible" shape the vehicle was in for that price. The guys were friendly and helpful.Clearly whoever had it before me used it as a truck, not a fancy grocery getter. So, it did have visible wear and tear, nothing major.BUT, once I started adding and changing things on it I found some damage they didn't bother to fix, make note of, or possibly even find.Energy absorber behind front bumper was broke, and backside of one headlight housing was broke. Held on with 2 of 4 screws and looks like someone tried to epoxy the shattered pieces back together and call it good. After I found these, I checked everything. Thankfully there was nothing else hiding. Been a year and truck still runs great. But, makes me wonder how thoroughly they check their vehicles over before selling.

The sales staff are great. The prices are reasonable. The only reason they didn't get a five is that the car I bought either wasn't detailed or whoever did it did a poor job. Looks like a can of pop blew up and sprayed on the dash and headliner. All it would have took is some scrubbing, but I will have to scrub it myself. For a $14,000 car I would have expected that to have been done for me. Other than that I got the car I wanted very quickly and easily and George was a pretty cool guy he even offered to have it detailed if I would bring it back down, but it's a 2hr drive so I will just do it myself.

I am so pleased with Ellis Automotive! We bought a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon Sport and I could not be happier. We bought it right before the COVID shutdown. They are still honoring our detail and buffing out a mark, all these months later. I will always buy used from Ellis if they continue this great customer service with reasonable pricing!

Ive been a customer for years, I go for all service needs and have purchased all of my cars from Ellis automotive. They are a great group of people and stand behind their work. I recommend to everyone. Staff is personable and are willing to go above and beyond. Anyone who claims otherwise is missing out on a wonderful team and great deals. My recent purchase was a 2015 Jetta se with only 38,000 miles for under $12,000, well under blue book value and a clean car fax, this dealership is worth looking into.

Customer service is great, I was able to find the right car for me in the right price range (2019 VW Jetta). Most of the cars in their inventory seem to be very reasonable. Paper work side of things they do an excellent job with (taking car of all of it, as long as you have the info you need).Just wish the car I purchased came with a 2nd set of keys.

We walked in last Saturday to look at some cars. I had seen reviews for this place online and I already had a car picked out. The first man to walk up to us was very nice, I believe his name was Brian. He was respectful to me and my mom and my grandfather. He took us to the car, cleaned it off, heated it up for us and we took a test drive alone down the road. We came back, filled out some paperwork, and within an hour and a half, I had myself a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. And I am absolutely in love! I got a low payment, with extra perks! I will definitely be coming back for future cars!! They've won me over. I highly, highly recommend them :)

One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had! My salesman Bob Kelly was excellent. If you are looking for a late model pre-owned vehicle, I definitely recommend Ellis Automotive.

we shopped around at a few different dealerships and after numerous test drives we decided on a vehicle from ellis. we liked the service, the sales person and most importantly the price. they were helpful and easy to deal with. the price for the vehicle was significantly less than similar models at other dealerships. they gave us a fair offer for our trade in. overall i was very satisfied with the experience. i would recommend them to family and friends for sure.

The sales and finance manager were awesome. However the lot attended doesn't know how to show up on time, I rushed my pickup so I had a car to go to work in (he was late that day) so no big deal they had to take my car back anyway to fix some paint damage. When I dropped it off I explained where stuff was in need of cleaning. Long story short still had to clean dry coffee and crayons out of cup holders dead leaves from under the hood garbage out of the center console and tip if the iceberg the previous owners stuff under the seat.

If I could give Ellis a zero I would. I really hope the citizens of the City of Butler and Butler County read reviews before going here. They are the most dishonest bunch of people you would ever run across. We purchased our vehicle from them right before the winter, the lazy salesman that so called helped us ran his mouth for two freakin hours about his family. We noticed that the knob on the passenger side seat was broke off, and we brought to his attention about some rust spots we saw on it he said "oh we can take care of that, just leave it and it will be ready for you tomorrow." We didn't get to see it until it was paid for in full $6000.00 and then I washed it two weeks later and come to find out they just put a polish over it, we never got the part for the seat and they never called us. We had to put it in the shop after we had the first deep freeze and that's when the big problems started, we found out that the front motor mounts were broken; the leaf spring was broken in the back and the ball joints were wore out. I don't think all of that could have happen with me owning it for six months. They even had the nerve to put and inspection sticker on it and our mechanic said they had to know the spring was broken and it could have ruined the whole rear end. So please DON'T GO TO ELLIS SUZUKI. We have spent more getting our vehicle fixed than we spent buying it.

It's funny, you hear on the radio advertisement about the desire to sell a vehicle, and the unbeatable prices with amazing credit approval.... Ya.., okay!! Ellis Automotive didn't meet my family's needs, we needed something that seats 7, but hey, here's a 5 seater. And then we get, oh you're not approved for a loan, but here we'll lease you a vehicle through FAIR, oh we can't do that either. Nothing but a run around. So we go to old faithful C. Harper Ford and KIA, and boom, we drive of the lot with our needs met, thank you C.Harper. Ellis.. you need to work on customer service!!!

They seriously just sent me an email wishing my ex-husband a happy birthday. It's not his birthday, nor is he listed on my vehicle. He doesn't even live in this area. He's never been their customer. This is not the first email blunder they have sent. I keep "unsubscribing" but I guess they just ignore that. More annoying than anything, but I definitely will not be purchasing my next vehicle from them.

Absolutely heinous--I wish there was a zero-star option. I was extremely interested in a specific make that they had, otherwise I would never have been there in the first place. Was in communication with the rudest salesman, George, who couldn't have cared less about my needs or if I even purchased a vehicle. Initially they agreed to have the car looked at by another dealership because the car is a specialty brand, and as I was trying to make arrangements for the inspection, the guy gives me the run-around all day and then sells the car out from under me. Unbelievable. Trust me--stay far, far away from these liars and swindlers. The best part is the section of their website where the owner talks about integrity and how they'll never lie. What. a. joke.

Stay Away, Don't everybody think it's odd that most reviews are from A Google User? Making it up as they go.Most likely all the salesmen and owner making up Google addresses to make themselves look like a reputable and trustworthy establishment..Worst mechanics I've ever used, Brian is the biggest liar I've every met. If you buy a car from here good luck because they don't stand behind anything they do..You've been warned!!!!! Spread the word to everybody you know...Concerned Butler resident...

Financed my daughter's car with no problem. Price was exceptional for an SUV W/20,000 miles. Courteous salesman with no BS.

Horrible!!! Avoid at all possible!!! Went for an oil change and got cussed at by a gutless lying coward. And a manipulative dishonest service department that tried to brush off their shoddy workmanship as a problem that didn't exist.

Very and patient answered all the questions that I. The loan officer worked and worked to get me the car I wanted and now I'm driving a 2016 Fiat. Going to Ellis Auto was a good move for me 5 stars
