Only giving these three stars just because of poor scheduling skills and lack of communication call to have my wife s car inspected and I was told to bring it in first thing in the morning dropped it off the night before and there was only five other cars or so in the parking lot. All day I never received a phone call to tell me that things came up and they got busy and they weren t able to get to my wife s car I understand things happen. I used to work in the garage myself. But the communication would go a long way with the customer if I bring my car first thing in Monday morning for a service that takes probably an hour I wouldn t expect To drive by their shop 30 minutes before they close and see that my car still hasn t been inspected. Like I said, I get it things happen and problems come up, but I feel as though I was more than flexible enough to take a phone call throughout the day, so this could be properly communicated. As far as the work I have received from them in the past is top-notch work, and some of the best mechanics, but sadly poor scheduling and communication has kind of turned me away. Nice people and they do great work just not good at scheduling or communicating with their customers.

They took care of my daughter's car when it broke down while she was attending school in Lock Haven. Ed is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Did an amazing job fixing our vehicles. They are the best place around. I've never been disappointed. I've taken my vehicles to Ford/Chevy dealerships, and they struggle to to fix the problems. These guys never disappoint.

Outstanding customer service. A very great bunch of people. My Child goes to college in Lock Haven and we had an issue with the Vehicle, they were highly recommended from a friend and they did not disappoint. We live 2 hours from the shop and I called them to ask if they could fix the car. They did fix the car and I am so thankful for these guys, very honest and great people to deal with. If I lived a lot closer I would use them all time all the time. Very honest which is hard to come by anymore. I have been taking my vehicle to Hillside for the past 4 years and I have experienced nothing but great mechanical work and excellent customer service. They truly care about the customer and don't try to rip you off (like many other auto mechanics). Hillside is a family owned business that takes pride in what they do. Very honest and genuinely nice people that make you want to bring your vehicle back to them. I highly recommend Hillside to anyone in the area that is looking for reasonably priced, high quality auto care.

I broke down on 80. Jonas towed me the 40 miles to my mechanic. He was very kind and helpful. It was a late night run on a weekend, but he was very good about it. He shared that he finds it rewarding to help people out. I definitely recommend this team!

Never going back. Treated me like a second class citizen. I dropped my car off overnight to be inspected, (having been told it would be ready by 10am), I returned the next day at 10am. I expressly told the mechanic, I have work, I need my car. So if I come back here at 10 am, the car will be ready right? Oh yeah, definitely . Upon my arrival, I had determined that my car had not moved from the original place that I had parked it the night before. Upon my inquiry, the head mechanic told me that the local area was expecting a snow storm (SOMETIME IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS) and as a result, he had to push my inspection back another (At least) entire day while he catered to his more local or regular clientele. He told me I could go somewhere else. Which I eventually had to do. (Thank you MacIntyre Chevrolet). Long story short, from the start, they will push you to the back burner. BEWARE!

Outstanding customer service. Very generous with any information that they can provide. and stand by all of their work. Honest which is hard to come by anymore. not from the area but was in an emergency situation and they went out of there way to help and fix and provide alternatives to make life easier for me a s a customer would recommend to anyone and everyone that is close that neds goo quality honest work. thanks again Ed and the rest of the crew.

Carl the guy who came and towed our Jeep when the brakes went, was very nice.He was there to help us within 45 minutes which was very quick from my past experience, and he was very prompt, and professional.

Eddie and Ed were a big help when our 2001 van died on Route 80 4 hours from home on Labor Day after hours. It was towed to Hillside and Eddie was able to diagnose the issue first thing the next morning so we could make a decision on how best to get back home. Even though the van was beyond repair, both Ed and Eddie were great to work with. Lock Haven is now the final resting place for our Pontiac Montana but I truly appreciated all of the help father and son gave us.

Was promised free services such as towing if I made sure they were the ones to fix the problem with my car, as well as free tire rotations if I purchased all 4 tires there. Neither of these promises were followed through with. They lack effective communication as well and take entirely too long with no updates.

Picked up on I80 with a a breakdown at Clinton County Rest stop today...The guy was a lifesaver. No issues...made this experience of over 100 miles great. Thank you over and over.

Stay far away from these people,I spent over 2500 and they never fixed the clunking issue.they do not test drive the vehicle once they do work on it or they would of clearly heard the noise that was still there.also my car drove straight as a arrow before all this work and now pulls hard to the left.he will take you for every penny u got,fix everything else but the problem.0 starsServices: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment
