Bought my first car from here a couple months ago and the car has served me well so far. The owner was nice, up front and honest. He told us about about an issue with the tire pressure indicator before I bought it which was appreciated. Very fairly priced. Definitely recommend buying a car from here

Absolutely the best service! Came in to buy our daughter a car. They were so patient with us! 6 test drives later she pick out a beautiful 2016 VW Jetta! The knowledge and friendliness of the staff made the car buying experience painless!

I highly recommend taking your car for service and maintenance to European Imports (EI). My recommendation is based on my personal experience. My only connection to the EI is that they service my 2008 German sedan since 2018 or so. The reception woman Brandy (I hope I did not misspell your name! If I did, sorry) is a pleasure to talk to: polite, respectful, honest, and very friendly. Brandy will communicate directly to the customer about customer's needs and she will be very patient.Doug is the guy who knows what he is doing in/to my car. He has being servicing my car since at least 2018. Doug took care of my routine maintenance and some occasional repairs. My impression of Doug's approach to cars is that he tries to fix things, and not simply replace parts until the customer's problem is solved. This is exactly what I need as a customer: a rational repair based on manufacturer's recommendations and Doug's expertise. For example, he fixed my trunk lid handle. The dealer in State College suggested I replace the entire handle at a cost of about $1200. So, technically, Doug saved me money and my handle is working well! Another great thing about Doug's repairs is that he takes time to diagnose the problem. Basically, Doug takes his time in identifying the problem and the most budget friendly way to fix the problem. I am glad that Doug is listing his diagnostics charges as a separate line item on the bill. I know some consumers are complaining about such charges, but diagnostics is a legitimate activity that takes mechanic's time and equipment. Without diagnostics you are unlikely to fix the problem correctly.I highly recommend European Imports. I service my car only here.

I'm fairly new to the area and couldn't find a local mechanic that was willing to honestly evaluate a loud noise under the hood with my Mini Cooper. Most either passed or wouldn't commit to being able to get parts quickly. I get it, this isn't the most common car around here, but still.Great experience from the start with European Imports. Amanda was super quick with calling back and relayed all my information accurately so I didn't have to explain my issue multiple times. Once they had my car Doug & team diagnosed the broken tensioner issue and even diagnosed a few other issues I knew it had. The quoted repair price was fair, especially the parts bill as I couldn't find replacement parts from online vendors for less than they quoted. No padding of the bill or unnecessary repairs as far as I could tell. It was a day and a half from the time I gave the green light until it was fixed, which I was very pleased with. I've had the car back for about a week now and everything is good as new. I hope i don't have any other problems with my car that , but if I do I will bring it back to European Imports.

Bought a manual 2013 SportWagen with 77k from them maybe 6-8 months ago, and have put about 10,000 miles on the car since. The slave cylinder/throwout bearing went bad a few months in. I doubt it would be possible that they knew it was going. Replaced it at home (saved about $700 that way) and so far car has been great. Seems like a solid car, and rust free. If they weren't 2+ hours form me I would probably take the car there for service.

I bought an Audi A4 from them and a day later it left me sit! It was close to the dealership so they came and got it started which was nice, but should ve never happened! Afterwards I had nothing but problems with it and when I tried taking it back for then to fix less than a week after I bought it they wanted to charge me for it. I took the car to another garage they fixed it but has had many other problems as well. Needless to say the car is sitting and can t be driven until I can afford to get it fixed which will cost almost as much as the car!

We shopped the Phila/Balt/DC metro area for months, ALL the cars we visited were grossly misrepresented. After wasting so much time & gas, I finally convinced my daughter to make the 3+ hr trip to Loch Haven and it was well worth the trip. Was everything perfect? No, but well above everyone else's standards. Doug went out of his way to make us comfortable and help us get the car home. We had a few small issues when we went for inspection and Doug resolved the issues almost immediately. I highly recommend them and already forwarded their info to one of my very best customers who is also looking for their college age child. We are very happy with the value of our purchase and know we will get many miles (100-200K) w/out any major issues; we purchased a 328xit.

This was my first experience working with European Imports. I purchased a car outta state through these guys and I gotta say, European Imports was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. They supplied me with all the photos and videos I requested, and the customer service was outstanding! I worked directly with Matt and he was fantastic to work with! Matt always went above and beyond to take care of me, awesome guy! Thank you guys again for everything, I can't recommend you guys highly enough! These guys ROCK!! A+ Experience!!

I had the WORST experience at European Imports. The day I bought the Volvo the check engine light came on. I immediately brought it back and they said it was because I bought low grade fuel and they reset the light. The next day the check engine light came on again. I went back and forth for 1 month to NO SOLUTION. When I said that since the check engine light kept coming on I wanted to return the Volvo. No go. They didn't want it and Have a nice day! So six months later I took it to another garage (now we have 2 fault messages) and it will cost me $6,000 to fix. Now I have a car payment, can't drive the car and no solution in sight.DO NOT BUY FROM EUROPEAN IMPORTS. I talked to some friends and no one has had a good experience. BEWARE!

Went to look at a car that they just inspected and it made a crazy amount of noise in the back. They wanted the excellent value from kelley blue book. When I asked them about it they said "it's a used car you get what you get". Then proceeded to tell me it's probably breaks and rotors which would've been an inspectable part. As I called the next day was told the shocks mount and struts are bad and gonna need replaced those are also inspectable parts. So be careful sounds like they just slap stickers on there

I bought a beautiful Mercedes from European Imports and I loved it more than any other vehicle I have ever owned. The maintenance was always reasonable and the owners are wonderful people.

Very friendly and honest staff! Love the customer service and they are willing to do what it takes to go the extra mile for the customer. I didn't feel hassled or pushed into buying anything. Definitely recommend this wonderful place!

Nickel and dime you on maintenance. Beware "we don't like to throw parts at the car" yea but will keep charging for diagnostics and cleaning sensors ects
