Hidden Gem in Pennsylvania , got work done on my Jeep 4x4 and Sedan here , alwayse kind professional and fair. Work i can no longer do myself with health issues. These are the guys i trust. Boggles my mind they dont have many more reviews of how well they treat there customers. Great mom and pop vibes. And mechanics you can trust. Tip: if you pay in cash its less out of your pocket.

I recently brought my 2019 Toyota Corolla to this establishment due to an unusual issue that did not generate specific diagnostic codes. With a decade of experience as an F16 technician, I had identified a potential problematic part but entrusted them with the necessary repairs. After communicating my assessment, they promptly diagnosed the issue within a day and had my vehicle ready by the second day. The pricing for their services was commendable. I highly recommend this facility and will certainly utilize their services in the future.

Double Deuce Auto (preciously 83 Auto) has always been where we go for our auto needs. They re friendly, reasonably priced, and fast. I trust them to tell me honestly what s going on with my car and I m glad they re so close!

We have been looking for a local shop that's honest and good since we had a bad experience with dealership.Double Deuce is the place to go. They found out the problem that the dealership couldn't find in less then ten minutes!From the receptionist to the mechanics everyone was friendly and nice.Definitely recommend this place doe your auto repair needs.And the pinball machine is a plus

These guys do awesome work. Been here several times now. They have done some major repairs for me like exhaust manifold, new sunroof mechanisms, coil packs, ect. Pricing is extremely reasonable and turn around time is very fast!

I ve taken my truck here twice since the new ownership. Both times needing different repairs. The quality of the fix was good in each case and the price seemed reasonable. I haven t had any issues with my truck from either fix and would recommend to others.

Great place to take your vehicle to for any automotive needs. I have been going here for almost 2 years and I like to feel out mechanic shops as alot can be dishonest. After almost 2 years of going here I would like to give anyone reading this an honest review.The owner and team here have been nothing short of great to work with. Shane has always been honest with me in regards to if my vehicle needs anything and a time line of when I need to maintenance parts.They have always worked with me on timing, price, and payment.No too negative things to say about how they work. I think the only thing I had noticed was when I had an alignment completed some time back, the steering wheels was not set dead center so it's a little to the right while driving straight. Agian, that's about all I could come up withThey have always been fair on price and labor and have always told me when I truly needed a repair and would explain/show me why.All around awesome experience and a breath of fresh air. I recommend this shop to anyone I know that needs work done or an inspection.

I took my Camaro in for inspection at the beginning of December 2022, that was my first interaction with Double Deuce Auto. Everyone was very friendly with a quick turnaround while I waited. I went back a week later to have my Subaru re-inspected after failing at Apple Subaru for minor light bulbs being out. This is a recently purchased winter vehicle, the mechanic informed me of a situation with one of the rear pads, and even though it was in compliance for inspection, he wanted to bring it to my attention (Apple Subaru supposedly looked the car over and never indicated the issue). The mechanic proceeded to explain the issue in understandable terms that conveyed honesty and attention to detail. Highly recommend Double Duece, all around great experience with knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices.

This has been our go-to place for all our car maintenance needs for several years. Shane & his team quickly identify the problem and give the customer all options for resolving it. Really appreciate how well they communicate with us. Always fair pricing. Worth the drive out of town to get this level of professionalism & customer service!

This is a wonderful garage, with extremely friendly people. This includes the owner and the workers there. This is a gem of a garage. It certainly appears that honesty, integrity and friendliness are very important to them all..My wife and I recently started taking our vehicles there. Every time that we have made an appointment, our vehicle was taken in to be worked on immediately, at the time of the set appointment. The prices are extremely fair. I HIGHLY recommend this fine business. Give it a try!!

Honest shop with fair prices! My dad has been using this shop for years and and I've never heard him say a bad word. I started using them this year for my own car and am equally happy to know I can trust I am always getting the best price and only repairing what really needs done. I now recommend all my friends to Shane and 83 Automotive for their auto needs!

I stumbled onto this garage years ago for a simple inspection on my van. The honest estimates and great service have kept me coming back ever since. The owner is a down to earth man of his word who continues to earn my business with every visit. 2 and half years ago when my wife's mini van broke down within a block off another auto shop in Dover, Pa I allowed it to be looked at by the other shop to avoid a tow charge. While in the shop we had them look at what I thought was a failing power steering pump. After charging me for the power steering pump replacement as well as an alternator (the original problem) we picked up the van. On the way home the steering problem had clearly not been resolved! I immediately took it back and after another day in the shop I was told I would need to pay over 1200.00 to replace the rack! Keep in mind my wife's van is nice but has very high miles. I asked about a used rack and they came down to 800.00. At this point I knew I needed my trusted mechanic to take over so I called Shane and explained the problem. Over the phone Shane quoted me less then half to complete the job with a 6 month warranty! Sadly the used rack did indeed fail in about 90 days but once again without hesitation Shane stepped up and kept his word. The rack was replaced at no charge and 2 years later all is well and we are still on the road. There may not be a fancy waiting room at this shop with free snacks but what you do get in exchange is honesty, kind customer service and quality work every time which in today's market place is priceless!

I have been to this shop multiple times in the past few months to get my van tweaked in (it was neglected by its former owner & Shane has been cleaning up the mess). Any time I've needed a mechanic, Shane always gets me in right away. He has a great crew, he's fair, honest, and he goes out of his way to accommodate. He's earned a customer for life!Need a great mechanic? This is your guy!

More than fair and fixed. After researching a bit, I expected to pay about a grand to get my truck fixed. I was quoted $800 over the phone. After inspecting the issue, I was told it would be more like $400. The final bill was $301. When does that ever happen?

I've tried many mechanic shops in the Lancaster and York areas since moving here in 2008 looking for "my mechanic." A shop that not only offers affordable repairs BUT honest work first and foremost. One that doesn't try to sell you on things you dont necessarily need just to make a buck. Shane at 83 had proven to be THAT mechanic. Honest, affordable, reliable and because of that I hope for BIG success for his company and I will try to aid in that by bringing my business there when ever I need anything repaired. I highly recommend!

This garage is very good, he is willing to tackle rusted frames. He rescued my cavalier from the scrapyard, 2 years still passing PA inspection. Good rates and very honest

Top notch service, and unquestionable integrity. They will not sell you something you don't need. They will fix it right and get you back on the road. I've been taking my cars to 83 for a couple years now, and I refuse to go anywhere else!
