Landis transmission is amazing. They are very kind and definitely know what they are doing. I got my vehicle back shortly and I haven't had any issues since. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!!!

Installed a re-manufactured trans in my daughters 2012 Jeep Liberty a year ago, it developed a slight leak on one of the coolant lines they fixed it no charge. They also fixed the heater. They diagnosed it and found a simple fix. They are great to work with, excellent reputation and reasonably priced.

Took my CRV in for possible transmission issues. They found a computer update. Performed the update and the issue is fixed! What could have been a 2300- 4000 fix was less then half that. Great and friendly service !

Went in with questions about engine noise I was hearing I thought it was a belt or something unfortunately it was a transmission!!!! I almost died. But I was told I could get a rebuilt one for much Cheaper price.. it took awhile, but my car is given a new heart and it came with a warranty anyway, even though it was a used and rebuilt transmission!!!!! They saved me thousands of dollars, and the car is so quiet and drives perfectly!!!! I have a 2018 Ford Escape .. It is basically a new car all over again. Thanks Landis.

Had some issues trying to get my car in at Hyundai for dual-clutch transmission work, so I thought I'd try the next best thing... going local. I found Landis and seen how close they were to me, so I started digging into their reviews. It says 4.1 stars (at the time I'm writing this), but it should definitely be higher.I had outstanding service with Landis Transmission. I had sent an email over asking if they'd be able to work on my Tucson which has a dual-clutch transmission (DCT). They said that they've worked on many DCTs like Ford and Volkswagen, and to give him a call at my earliest convenience to set up an appointment. Told the guy over the phone that "all I needed to hear was Ford" (look up PowerShift transmissions lol). He got me an appointment a week later.Dropped my car off after hours and they got to work on it right away. The tech or the advisor was awesome, and had given me a ring to tell me they couldn't find the issue, and asked how it could possibly be replicated. Told them, and three hours later they called me and said "you need a clutch" (which I knew). Gave me a very reasonable estimate, but couldn't give me a time frame of when it'd be done (which is alright, some parts are difficult to get right now).It took them about three weeks to get everything back together, and after two months driving my car, the transmission has been driving like butter. Can't thank Landis Transmission enough for the amazing work. It truly shows how they don't care about getting paid, they care that the customer is happy and their car is fixed. Thanks Landis Transmission, I'll be sure to rave about you guys everywhere and anywhere I can!!!Services: Transmission, Transmission replacement, Transmission repair

They are honest and upfront about their services. I had a transmission replacement done on my 2004 ford police interceptor. They gave me several options and said what the prices would be up front. And I chose what would be the best for my situation. And they did a professional job and got it done in a timely manner. They were recommended by several people I knew, including very well known buiessness owners. The ones that said stupid stuff about them in the ratings, sound like their from the shady transmission shops that are trying giving these guys a bad rap.

Quality repair shop. I've had foreign and domestic cars through their care for fixes. Every time I drop a car off I know it'll be right when I pick it up. They take problems with your car and give back solutions. They even built a part for my bmw. These guys are awesome. Find your trusted mechanic .. here!

I've been taking my vehicles there for years now and have always had a good experience. They are a full service shop. Had exhaust work done on my Corvette, a Ranger pickup that they replaced the engine and rebuilt the transmission. I recommend them to anyone.

The customer service was fantastic the work that did was fantastic!! they're $80 an hour so they're a lot more expensive... because of covid possibly being shut down for a while. Just make sure you bring an extra credit card you might not know if you're going to need it.

They didn't program the transmission in my gf car which caused a new transmission to fail in less then 4 months of them installing it. Car was taken back to them to fix the situation and they expect her to pay for a whole new transmission plus half of labor. They are telling her even though it was their fault she should pay it cause she wants her car back.Service: Transmission

I called around and got the cheapest quote from Landis on a transmission rebuild. They quoted me $1200 but the bill came out to be over $1600. They did the work fairly quick and the problem is now gone, but new problems surfaced. The shifting was notchy going into second and would grind going into first unless I was completely stopped. They use oil in their manual transmission rebuilds and Honda calls for MTF and oil ONLY in emergencies. I drained the oil and put in fresh Honda MTF and the problem has went away. It could've saved me time and money if they would've just used what they were supposed to. Also, the clutch pedal had no feel to it at all. There was some air in the line that needed bled out. They also really mark up the parts they use. $466 for a clutch kit!! I could've bought one for less than $100. Bearings and seals marked up over 80% in some cases. Charged me for 2.5 quarts of oil when the transmission only takes 1.6 quarts. Why not just charge more for the labor and be honest with your customers?

They do great work, but the communication is terrible it s been days with no phone call of the diagnosis. I ve had to call them, and today I ve called the place 3 times with no answer or call back. When you have a customers vehicle communication should be important.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Great guys. Have been very honest in all my experiences and actually cheaper than other shops I got quotes from. Will definitely continue to use them, and for repairs other than transmissions as well!

Online it states they work on all kind of cars, unfortunately that is not the case. My Jetta had some problems, after waiting for them to finally be able to look at it they called to say they don't work on Volkswagens and they're pretty sure it's an electrical issue. I know nothing about cars and could have told you it was an electrical issue. When we went to pick up the car on the weekend they failed to leave the key in the car. Luckily someone happened to be in the shop and was able to find my key even though he acted like it was an inconvenience.

They are very knowledgeable, they don't hustle you like majority of shops do, Very good pricing went too pick my keys up thinking it was a day or two job here they got it done in the same day. They got my business and recommending people too there shop.

Would highly recommend the fine folks at Landis Transmission, They took time out of there busy schedule to address my issues. They went over and above the call of duty when the local GM dealer did not want to do the warranty work right and tried to sweep my transmission issues under the rug.

On two separate occasions Landis gave me good advice and performed repairs at a fair price and they dud things correctly first time in.

Beware of this place! Biggest scam artists I've ever known. Brought a vehicle there, thinking there might have been an issue with the transmission. They kept it overnight so as to inspect it thoroughly, had it up on the lift, and claimed that the entire transmission needed to be replaced. Quoted a MINIMUM of $2,000 but said it could be as much as $2,800. Deciding a second opinion was in order, took the SUV to another transmission shop. The problem was a simple sensor, and it cost $107. This was over a year ago, so there's no doubt that the sensor indeed fixed the problem and that Landis Transmission was attempting to swindle $2,000+ from me.

Worst shop around. Got new transmission and the following week our transmission lights kept coming on and it kept shifting hard so we took it back twice and they still couldn't pinpoint the problem. 2 month later the transmission gave out and they refused to stand behind it although it was under warranty. Wouldn't recommend to anyoneService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Thank you so much! I was referred to them by my regualr mechanic after he could not figure out exactly what was wrong. I was tired and desperate to get my car fixed. They were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and quick. My transmission problem was fixed the same day and it has been several weeks and my car is 100% fixed. We had tried several things before getting to them and they quickley diagnosed and solved the problem immediately. Thank you so much! Mazda CX-9
